Applebee’s

My sister and I stopped by this Apple Bees to have lunch. We both had the honey chicken tenders with bacon mac and cheese. Our meals came really quick. It didn’t taste all that great, but it wasn’t all that bad either. There wasn’t a lot of cheese and the bacon was really hard. The fountain drinks were really flat. The server was nice. We decided not to order dessert because we weren’t pleased with the entrees. Altogether we spent $ 37 and stayed for about 25 minutes. The waitress was nice.

I come here all the time. Love this place. Great staff great food. One thing… I went last night to fulfill a craving for chicken wonton tacos and they changed the wonton shell. I don’t know if it was a trial period but please… bring back the original wonton shells. Please and Thank you.

There’s no place like the neighborhood!
Not sure why some low graded reviews. Came here for lunch & was nothing but pleased. Upon arrival we were very friendly greeted by the hostess who quickly took us to our table.
Greeted by our very very friendly waitress GABRIELLE, who was very attentive & knowledgable to the menu. She also worked her station very well ! I watched some other patrons ask dumb questions and have stupid comments yet she held her composure & handled everything with a smile. I applaud her for that.
Food– typical Applebee’s menu. All came out quick, fresh, tasteful. No complains there. Everything was pleasurable.
The restaurant has these new electronic menus on tablets. Which is a great idea over all but you kind of loss the one on one basis with the waitstaff. This could be good or bad– depending on who you look at it.

Friendly staff, love the local décor, and best of all, they’re really trying to bring in fresh, healthy ingredients in some of their newer entrees. Their appetizers need a little work but their kids selections aren’t too bad. Still a lot of salt in most of their food though. Overall, it’s a family-​friendly place (just don’t go on Friday/​Saturday evenings, very packed!).

One of the best applebees in long island. I went there for my boyfriends birthday and we had a great experience. Our waiter Jaheem was great. He was very attentive and so polite. He was also very fast and always made sure we were happy. We were so happy with this applebees. The only downsides were the women’s bathroom was not too clean and there was kinda of inconsistency in drinks. I ordered two bahama mamas and both tasted different. One was very good and had a good ratio between liquor and sweet juice. The second one was way too strong. It had too much liquor that it made it taste gross. However, everything else was great with my time at this Applebee’s.

Placed an online order Early Sunday before Superbowl. Ordered a tray of wings, chicken taco appetizer and 3 dinners. We did look at other wing prices among other establishments and determined Appelbees offered the best price. The wings were meaty and a decent size. The other food was good as well.
We do dine in at this location from time to time and have always had good food and service.
We are glad we chose Appelbees to feed us on Superbowl day.
The only issue on this day was when my son went to go pick up order, he sat in car and nobody came out to full fill the curb side service. When he went inside to ask, they told him there was no service due to Superbowl day. This was fine but the person who took our order over the phone specifically asked us what color and type of car we had so they could find us in lot. Not a real big deal but the communication among workers in restaurant should be better to translate changes if any to customers who order over the phone.

I’ve been to a lot of Applebee’s locations over the years. This is by far the worst location I’ve been to.
Service is terrible. The staff here doesn’t care at all about what they’re doing. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but there is clearly some kind of discrimination that goes on here. Not once, not twice, but three times in a row that my wife and I came here, on three consecutive weeks, we were seated at the exact same table in the restaurant. This terrible, hole in the wall, tiny corner table that could barely fit the ketchup bottle, let alone two adults and their food.
Three visits in a row they did this. Each time, the restaurant had more than enough room to have us seated somewhere else. Yet they sat us in this ridiculous corner table in this nook that looks like it shouldn’t even have a table.
What’s more ridiculous is, a fourth time that we came a few weeks later, the host again tried to sit us at that damn table, but this time we realized what was going on and asked to be reseated somewhere else. We were, but not before the hostess seemingly had an issue with it.
Needless to say, that was the last straw, and the last time we went. It soured us on ever going to ANY Applebee’s location ever again.

So I’m def a regular here, hence the 4 stars. I come here with my boyfriend because you know you’re consistently going to get the same thing every time. However, the food isn’t spectacular but it is worth the prices. I love the apps and the drinks are good too. Especially with the happy hour prices. Can’t complain. 80% of the waiters are very friendly.

I did take out. I’ve done it before No problem. But tonight I was put on hold for way longer then needed for a small order. The girl put me on hold to check if there was soup. Comes back says no more then I asked for mozzarella sticks then put on hold again. Then a man comes on the phone. Rechecks my order which was good but then was like ok see you soon. No order time of when I should show up.(in the past they have been very precise with a time) I show up 25ish minutes giving them enough time. I’m sitting in the car to go spot and there are about 5 people smoking cigarettes outside joking n chillin. I called and asked to speak to a manager and they would not give me one only send my call back to car side. The guy said sorry but didn’t really seem all that apologetic at all and didn’t ask if he could do anything to make the situation better. I did not get my food order at all after about an hour ordeal of this bs. I’m in the service industry so I know about bad days and all but this staff didn’t seem to care about satisfying the customer at all.

Not a long wait! Great food! Manager was awesome he gave us free dessert! Best Applebee’s around Nassau I believe!

I order the cowboy burger online and I went in and picked it up. I asked for the cowboy burger to be cooked well done. When I got home to take a bite of the burger I notice the burger was not only cold but the burger was not fully cooked.

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences at this location and sadly it made me think it was every Applebee’s. Me and my mom had an awesome experience at the valley stream location so it restored my faith a little bit so we decided to come to Baldwin today. The second we walked in the door I felt unwelcomed, we were not acknowledged by the two hosts up front who finished there conversation before seating us. No hello, no welcome to apple bees, no how are you… they finished their conversation and said follow me and we were standing right in front of them for about 5 minutes. We take a seat and they said our server would be right with us. What a lie. Our server came about 15 minutes later. A girl who was in normal clothes but had a key around her neck, maybe a shift leader? Came to us and told us she was coming because obviously she knew we were waiting forever. This girl I’m speaking about was probably the only good thing about the whole damn place. Finally our server came we ordered the 2 for 20 and started with the mozzarella sticks. They weren’t really good and our plates were dirty. I received my wine and the glass was even dirtier. I walked up to the bar and told him it was dirty and he gave me a new glass, an even dirtier one. The guy picking up his takeout food said that glass was disgusting and he gets takeout because they have bacteria all over the place and they don’t clean there stuff right and his silverware still had food in it last time. DISGUSTING. I sat down and started drinking my wine with a straw before I decided it was freakin ridiculous, our server saw this whole thing going down and never once came over, and never once apologized. I went up to the girl who was friendly with the keys and told her and she got us new plates that didn’t have spinach on them, gross and brought me over a sparkling wine glass. I know stuff happens sometimes but 3 times? No that’s just carelessness. We were never checked on during our app or entrees. My moms broccoli was hard and looked like it had gone bad. My «riblets» were gross and my fries tasted like freezer burn. I was so disgusted I just wanted to leave. worst food and worst service I will NEVER BE BACK

I am an applebees regular… the Oriental Chicken salad was missing the toppings the almonds the red cabbage smh… my food the chicken penne was salty as heck… even the lemon in my water look like someone took a bite then placed it back in my glass. the cake topper was when we asked for a refill we were told about the price like for what just bring the damn refill… Both the waitress and hostess attitudes were dry. this is my last time ever coming here

Decided to head over to Applebee’s for a quick bite to eat and found out they have a second happy hour beginning at 10pm. Great! Bahama Mama for $ 4 and Margarita for $ 3.25. Half price appetizers were a nice start before the entrée. Nothing fancy, just typical bar food: hot wings, chips and spinach dip, cheese sticks… nothing out of the ordinary. Yummy! Worth it if you are looking for something quick to eat.

I wasn’t sure I would go based on the reviews. However, I had a very positive experience. At the time I went it wasn’t too crowded. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive, her name started with an M.. Marion? She made sure she checked periodically to see if we needed anything. The food was very yummy. I ordered boneless Buffalo Wings as an app, Fiesta Lime Chicken and Oriental Chicken Salad. Ingredients were fresh. Tables were clean. Bathroom was very clean with automated paper towel dispenser, which is great, I can’t stand the blower style dryers. I would definitely go back because it is local to me and i got great customer service. mixed crowd. :)

Well honestly the food sucks. All of it taste like someone dropped it first. Seriously don’t go here. I usually just get appetizers because anything else will make me throw up. Also I had those churro thins and they taste like grease. Wow. So nasty. The fries taste like cardboard stuck with salt. Pa bonne mem. Worst part is the music. Worst music I’ve ever heard. Terrible. Not lit. Go to Friday’s seriously.

I really like this location! The murals on the walls are a great reflection of the area they are in. Very nice place. clean and colorful! The service was really good as well even though we had a larger sized party. We ordered the spinach dip and it was large and the chips were nice and crispy. I don’t usually like applebee’s food but, this place was actually really good. I also had the Thai shrimp salad… very flavorful and tasty! French onion soup. mmmm! I may not have the opportunity to every come back this way but, I definitely recommend it to anyone passing through!

Quick business lunch. Quick lil updated review. Raspberry Iced Tea, Southwest Chicken Chopped Salad. Yum yum eatum up. Look at the clock time to run. Hey, that was good! Back to work.

Food was great. A little disappointed that I could not get the Bourbon Blue Cheese burger with out mushrooms (they would have to take off the onions and peppers too) and shocked that a seltzer cost as much as a regular soft drink. But other than that a good experience.

Decided to stop in at Applebee’s on our way from getting manis and pedis. I really didn’t want to go as it’s not one of the places that I enjoy… I wanted to go back to Wild Ginger! But mommy wanted to go. She kept saying…“please, let’s go to Apple’s B!” Lawd! Lol! So we did. I must say that I’m totally not a fan of Applebee’s; however I did enjoy the riblets, raspberry iced tea, and the woman and her two children being disruptive (her approx 2 year old son throwing things on the floor, cursing, and spitting!) sitting next to us! The most enjoyable part was when it was over! The waitress was a quiet rude… very nonchalant and nicety. Honestly, nothing much to talk about… nothing stood out to make me want to return.
BUT if I do return I will ask for Reggie… he was the waiter serving on another side and he was fabulous!!! He was very attentive, polite, and funny. So if you read this and are going to Apple’s B (LMBO) please ask for Reggie! I’m going to… IF I go back.
