Anytime I call in with a question they seem more than happy to assist me! I have never had a problem and have been very pleased these past 2 years with their service.

If I could give them negative stars I would. It started when we cancelled service and switched to someone new for a lower rate. They called me daily for about two weeks with automated messages stating all of us leaving are impacting their business, they need money, and begging for us to come back. I recently called them to ask about their services and restarting. They told me they never received my bin from where I cancelled about 3 years prior. I told them I left it out for them to pick up and when I came home it was gone. I asked why they never notified me and that if they truly did not take it I would have filed a police report. She blew me off and blamed me and said I owe them $ 25 for the bin. I have never received an invoice so I have not paid and at this time I will not pay since the bin was collected. This company is a mess and the owners are running a terrible business.

If I could give these idiots 10 negative stars I would. My back account was hacked which Wells Fargo had to close down all of my direct payments from the account. As I was in the middle of going through all of the direct payments from this closed accounts North Metro shut me off and refused to pick up this weeks refuse.
I was lucky as one of their competitors showed up this morning with new containers and I was able to switch containers, that is the real ugly part in all of this mess.
I hope one if not all of these idiots gets hacked so they will have some empathy for what it takes to get everything worked through and back on track
Stay away from this company, bunch of rotten business folks.

On time every time.
Never complain about how much stuff is on the side of the can.
They don’t speed through the neighborhood like the other trash company does.
I have spoken to the boys on the trucks, they are nice people as well.

I give them zero stars if i could. I have been with them for six years. In the past few months I have had nothing but PROBLEMS with them. They switched our pick up day with NO NOTICE. When I called to ask them about why they did not pick it they said that they had called me (which they DID NOT) and to try and tell me about the switch. I went ahead and cancelled my service. They were supposed to pick up my trash can yesterday so I can be done with this terrible business and the did not! Just such incompetence and lack of customer service! Do not know what has happened to this company because I had no problem with them until recently!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THEM.

I was very happy with the service until this past storm. I could understand missing the one week but this past week we called and were told that our Thursday service would be on Friday. We put our trash out and nothing happened. On Saturday of course no one was available by the phone. To make matters worse we are leaving town on Sunday for a week. Hate to think what we’ll come fact to.

Price is unbeatable and customer service is great!

I recently moved to the Kennesaw area and was looking for a reliable trash service as I lived too far out for the city to do pick-​ups. North Metro Waste was one of the only companies that serviced my particular area. Just a quick note– I really don’t have high expectation for my trash service pickup. However, my experience from the beginning was a very negative one.
Their billing cycle is every three months (standard). After calling and beginning my service (and paying for this three months), I was told that I would be receiving my trash can and recycle bin. The first week I never received my bin, so I called and inquired further. I was told it would be coming the next week and that I should just put my trash in some boxes by the curb. I wasn’t worried at this point (everyone makes mistakes, plus it was really a non-​issue). After the bins were not delivered for the second week, I made another call. The woman on the other end who answered told me that «she had no idea how to fix my problem». After explaining that this was a very simple problem, and the possible solutions, she finally figured out what needed to be done (once again-​trying to be aware that all make mistakes and maybe that she was new, though I feel their employees should be able to solve simple problems such as these). I finally received my bin after the third week of trash collection.
Everything was fine (save for inconsistent pickup times– I have to call every once in a while when the truck doesn’t seem to get here until after 5pm, just to make sure it’s coming at all). Unfortunately I should have been more wary of the fact that all I was sent upon my initial purchase was a receipt (and nothing further). Apparently when holidays come along they shift their pickup times (without alerting their customers apparently). So leaving my bins out by the curb for a Friday pickup the Friday AFTER Memorial Day, resulted in no pickup. I called to inquire further and was told that because of the holiday the pickup was moved to the following Monday. Once again, I was never given any notice of this occurring, especially upon my initial purchase (which was over the phone and a representative could have easily told me this). The representatice was incredibly rude and unhelpful and when I inquired about pickup times during holidays I was given a vague answer. This has now happened a second time for Fourth of July. We left our bins out the Monday, Friday, and now following Monday after the holiday, just in case, and have received no pickup. I’ve called to no avail (they only answer their phones half the time, though I’m sure they would be of little help).
Unfortunately, I feel as though this company is somewhat taking advantage of customers who have no other option as they live too far away for city pick-​up. When initially doing research, I noticed that one of the first search results is for two separate complaints to the Better Business Bureau. Not entirely surprising given their track-​record so far (from my experience).
I very much recommend that you do not use this company. They provide what should be a fairly straightforward service, and over the course of only three months have consistently failed to provide me even half of what was promised. Save your money and some stress and just bring your trash to the dump yourself.

Everything was fine until we decided to end our service. We were charged a $ 20 cancellation fee, and they would NOT waive it, kept saying «Well, it’s on the back of the invoice», over and over. SO WHAT? You would think they would want to keep a customer who is leaving happy, with the possibility they may come back! Then, to make matters worse, while I was talking with Hester, the account Hun, she put me on speaker phone without telling me, so then when I asked to speak with the owner, he says «I’m right here!» HOW DARE THEY! That is unbelievably unprofessional, and rude! Then when I told them that, the owner told me to «hush!» Are you kidding me? No way am I EVER using them again.
