I know what you’re thinking, «All $ 1 stores are created equal.» Well nope! Dollar Tree wins in my book; they have an amazing plethora of products from food to toiletries, batteries to .50 cent birthday cards, cleaning products to automotive, pots & pans to candles. I love them all but I get completely lost in Dollar Tree and forget that I’m in a recession state lol.

I went two days ago. I was looking for greeting cards: sympathy and congratulations to a high school grad, Sudoku books and dark chocolate. I found them all. I was concerned about the greeting cards, but I found two cards that perfectly expressed my sentiment. And they were 2/$ 1. Skip Hallmark’s $ 3.99 cards, and go here. Two Sudoku books were acceptable. They didn’t have many. Dark chocolate. 3.5-ounce bars for $ 1. Have one ounce of dark chocolate every day, and you’re good. Right? Well, if you eat more than one ounce, it could be troublesome. I’m holding on the one ounce. Joey was the checkout guy. He is so personable and talkative. WHERE does Dollar Tree find these great clerks? I’m baffled. But it makes for an incredibly wonderful checkout situation.
