Husband says«Best eggs benedict in the St Louis area» and he should know. Comes with lobster on top. The chef, Mark came out and introduced hinself. Our waitress Jessica was super friendly. I had the signature breakfast sandwich which was good as well. Diffently coming back to try the lobster roll.

The only reason I give this place three stars instead of 4 or 5 is the service. EXTREMELY slow and a bit chaotic. The menu is great, but could use a few more options. A lot of salmon on the menu. You are limited if that’s not for you. The prices were a bit steep, however we came home with leftovers so I guess two meals for one slightly over inflated price isn’t bad. The food I’ve had has been delicious. Curried chicken salad and pork sandwhich where amazing. We will still frequent here so that our town has good restaurant non chain businesses that will thrive. Just please work on service!!!

They continue to improve the experience at the restaurant. Two chef’s working today. The cabbage soup is to-die for… The hours are expanded, the servide has improved… though a spoon when you ask for coffee and cream just isn’t something that dawns on these folks. This area of Wildwood screams for an eating establishment. Let’s help this one make it!

Killer Maine style Lobster roll(chilled, and mayonnaise) with a twist. Croissant bun and super thick bacon take this sandwich over the top. I also had the Blue cheese slaw & coffee, a lunch worth every penny and a drive out from the city. 5 starz all the way!

The menu has something for everyone and it is all great. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner have unique options.

The one time we visited, it was ok. The food was well prepared and good. It is a small place. The day we were there, they had a live band that was too much for the size of the place. Could not talk and much of the focus became towards accommodating the band rather than their clients. Might be a better idea to have the band set up in the parking lot in a tent or something rather than trying to cram it in to the small space. Other than that, hope they continue to improve and grow to enable this to become a nice little place in the neighborhood.

Great food. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff!!! Very much neighborhood feel to the place. The salmon melt and lobster roll are fantastic. For brunch do not miss the park side Benedict– the lobster meat on top makes an already great dish just perfect! The staff is very friendly and service excellent. This will be «our place» for eating out and hanging out.

They’re still working out the kinks at this new place. Food was unremarkable and inconsistent. Service was overwhelmed, not helped by the cluster in the kitchen. Basic grill food(though the burger is nothing to write home about). Never got silverware, had to ask twice for napkins. Server missed the chance to up sell dessert. Barely finished with dinner and asked«you ready for the check?» If they dial in the production they might offer a better dining experience. Wishing them well but probly won’t be back.

This review is breakfast only. There were several other tables, but not full. So here comes our server in her flip-flops and sundress. Really. Limited breakfast menu but had what we wanted; the full breakfast. Ordered coffee and water for both of us. Server had problems bringing 2nd water. She seemed very scattered. One couple that was there before us left. Not sure if they had ordered or not but they were not happy. There were no drinks on their table so I’m thinking they had been ignored. Our order came out surprisingly fast. But wrong. Muffin instead of toast, bacon instead of sausage, no grits on the side. Explained what was wrong and she was SOSORRY. At least 10 times during the course of our meal she told us how sorry she was but was still incapable of serving what was ordered. Now another couple across the room was walking out after having sent back their order 3 times.(they had a different server). So here comes that water that was ordered in the beginning. Not the missing sausage, not the missing toast, not the missing grits and certainly not our coffee being refilled. So finally here is the sausage. By now we were finished with the rest of our food. And the toast, burned, showed up. And now here are the grits. A very large serving of grits but no spoon. And no butter for anything. And no coffee refill. Server grabbed my cup by the rim to go refill(?) Can we all visualize a coffee pot? They can’t. Had server bring us another cup. There was soooo much wrong with our experience this morning that even this lengthy diatribe cannot fully cover all. I am mystified at other’s experience from the night before as reviewed. This place could be a viable restaurant but first all the staff must have some training. And where was a manager? None to be seen. The food a 3+ The service 1-.

Great place! Our first time here. Totally impressed. Great menu, great beers and wine that pair well with the food. Outstanding service. Next visit I’m sure this will be five stars.

Very warm, laid-back and welcoming environment. Seemed ideal for an easy, casual yet high-quality family dining experience. Priced trend a little high but fresh, local ingredients and good food warrants this … and the kids menu is reasonable. Nice beer selection and a generally feel-good vibe. Good place to support.

We checked this place out over the weekend with friends. It’s very clean & quaint — & round! –with a nice bar. My husband & I had the burger special for the night, & it was very good. The service was great — Will is very knowledgable, friendly, & enthusiastic about this new restaurant. I’m giving this 4 stars because we only had a burger & some beer. I’m sure we’ll return for more soon. The beer list is good, with several local handles. Keep up the good work there! The wine list? Not so much. It’s very limited & more of an afterthought with wine like Cupcake on the menu. No thanks. But hey, I like beer, too, so I can be happy here. Sadly, due to the fact that they’re located next to a daycare, they can only serve beer & wine.

Please consider this review for breakfast only. The atmosphere is nice and could be a lot of fun for lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu is small, and I hope the quality improves over time. Hash browns, as my son called them, are Tetris hash browns and look out of a Costco bag and the fruit cups had honeydew melons that were over ripe. The main issue was that the cooks timing was way off. The restaurant was slow but the 6 meals came out piece meal over 5 minutes and the eggs were way overdone. Overall, we won’t give up, but let’s hope lunch and dinner are better

Excellent food and nice, intimate and casual atmosphere. My husband and I went here for lunch and enjoyed a few beers(they have a large selection on tap, bottles and cans) and ordered the meatballs as an appetizer. They came out hot with San Marzano tomato sauce and Parmesan. Very yummy. Then I ordered the Five-alarm spicy chicken wrap and side salad. The wrap had the perfect level of spice without being too hot. Delicious. Husband had the cheese steak sandwich and said it was very good too. Bathroom has a changing table — which is perfect because we brought our 9-month old, and the chef came out to say hi and ask us how our food was. The music was great too. Great experience all around.

Fun new restaurant in Wildwood. Nicely diverse menu. My husband and I are both pescetarians(so the only meat we eat is fish) and there were plenty of vegetarian and fish-only options, which I really appreciated but there is plenty for a carnivore to enjoy also. We had the Calamari as an appetizer and it was exceptional. The Calamari wasn’t overcooked at all which is a rarity. It wasn’t greasy either and the coating was very crisp without being overdone. The aioli it’s served with is pleasant also. My husband had the grilled salmon sandwich with fries and a side of the coleslaw. I had the lobster club — which they were happy to make without bacon — and fries. The fries are shoestring, well-seasoned and nicely crisp. On the lobster sandwich, the only bad note in the meal was the bun was remarkably stale, but the waitress did offer to replace it(I declined). The lobster salad on the sandwich was fantastic though, as was the avocado(generous slice), the tomato and greens. The signature coleslaw is very nice also and not over-dressed. I had wine and my husband had beer. Pricing was mid-range — not a great deal, but far from outrageous — and our service was good also. We will be back.

Had the Powerhouse pulled pork sandwich. Pork was tender, moist and not greasy. Served with a sweet/smoky BBQ sauce. I had fruit as a side.

Great new restaurant on the corner of Clayton Road and Strecker. We had dinner here, but they are open for breakfast and lunch too. I was impressed with the diverse beer selection – including craft beers on draft, cans and bottles. Very reasonable prices. Food is well-prepared, American Grill-style menu. Big TVs had the Cardinals game on and atmosphere was very friendly. Lots of parking on a large lot. It also looked like they do a pretty good take-out business… so consider that if you live in the area. Good spot for friends or family dinner or a glass of beer or wine at the bar counter. We will return!
