This place is a gem in west county. Delicious healthy food with lots of gluten free options. The beer selection is great and they have great live music. It’s my favorite place to see live music in west county because the atmosphere is great and the food is unique for the area.

Delicious food and beverages, Rocky Mountain ambiance, and live music for all ages. We eat dinner or breakfast here about once every 4 – 6 weeks and have never been disappointed.

$ 1.50 for a side of toast, which they consider one piece of toast, is crazy! Egg sandwich with no meat just cheese is $ 6.50, side of very sad fruit(canned pineapple with a few fresh strawberries). Also, they used to serve Mississippi Mud coffee but not anymore :(Oh and speaking of coffee, a bottomless cup is $ 3.80-WHAT?! We have been to this place many times but have officially given up. We only do breakfast there so I can’t speak for anything else.

Most impressed by the girl who worked there. Customer service focused, she hustled, was efficient and friendly. I think she was working by herself other than the cook. We just got two lattes. My sugar free vanilla was excellent. Décor is interesting but hodge-podge.

Love the environment. Not too loud, and really cool interior. The service was pretty good. They had mason jars for the drinks, which was really cool. The food was pretty good. To sum it up, I’d visit again. They have vegan and really healthy options, which gives a wider range of customers. Their food is pretty tasty, and the fact that it has multiple vegan/vegetarian options on the menu keeps me coming back for more.

I took my mom there for her birthday lunch. I got the ½ and ½ veggie sandwich and spinach salad. It was so good, and filling! I’m a big fan of veggie sandwiches and this has become my favorite. My mom got the ½ and ½ with the warm veggie and cream of potato soup. She insisted I try her soup, you can tell they made it and it wasn’t emptied out of a bag. Everything was delicious!

Awesome Coffee, and kid friendly. Fun eclectic vibe. Great baked goods. I have so much good to say about it. Can’t think of anything negative. Prost!

Great place for lunch or casual dinner. Food is always great… lots of interesting menu options. Service usually good. My only complaint is that the restaurant is always cold and drafty… a cozy atmosphere is always preferable when enjoying a nice hot drink.

I’ve been to The Wolf before and the initial customer service turned me off so bad I left before even ordering. Today, I took one for the team and returned because my friend reallllly wanted to go. The place was packed, I assume there was a live band playing or other function taking place in the rear area of the restaurant. The space was dark, crowded and I wasn’t in the mood to walk through to investigate. I just wanted to grab a seat for me and my hot drink. Spotted a large table with a «reserved» sign and 2 other small tops available in the same section. I snagged 1 of the 2 and enjoyed my latte as we waited for our food to arrive. A few minutes later my dish arrived and the employee bringing my food looks around awkwardly and says, «Ummm this table is reserved.» I pointed out that there was a «reserved» sign on the table next to us, which was unmoved, however our table was not marked. The employee went on, «Well yeah all of these tables are reserved for guests who called and should be here in a little while.» I asked her to please hand me my food because I was not going to get up and stand to eat. I’ll keep this PG for the purposes of my review but you can imagine what I was thinking(IDGAF). The food was decent nothing to rave about; same for the latte. The décor was pretty cool. Actually the décor is the most attractive thing about The Wolf. I will not return… unless maybe they change owners or do a complete staff overhaul. Ok last complaint; the ladies room was in disarray and I totally didn’t like that the sink hand built up scrum residue. I like to wash my hands in clean basins. The Wolf, ~Christy(less)

I love the wolf! My favorite is the granita — absolutely delicious. Service has been great every time I have stopped in. I haven’t tried their food yet but the menu looks great as does the beer selection. Open mic nights are fun and I love the large outside tables. A gem in west county.

Great food and great service. The atmosphere at The Wolf is excellent. My wife and I have gone for lunch and dinner dates and try to make it to the live entertainment and music throughout the week. I enjoy all the local brews they keep on tap and find it to be a great place to work/study.

I was working way out here the other day and finally had an excuse to give this place a try! Pick up a menu at the counter and find yourself a table. The back room(where the stage for musical performances is) has normal tables and chairs. But in the front room are a few long, picnic table high-tops with tall benches. They look pretty cool, but I can’t say I was interested in sitting there — haha! I went back up to the counter and ordered the Bistro Burger — they were nice enough to let me sub some cheddar cheese in place of the tomato jam. While I was up there, I couldn’t help but notice their case of sweet treats. Two in particular caught my eye — some kind of candy loaded cheesecake and a peanut butter pie. I asked about both and if the girl at the counter had a preference or suggestion. She insisted that both are wonderful. She also informed me that both are from Sugaree Bakery(a place that has been on my to-do list for way too long). I ended up going with the Peanut Butter pie — it had a chocolate rice krispy crust, an inch tall layer of peanut butter mousse and it’s topped with a thick layer of chocolate ganache!!! How could I say no?!? My co-workers and I took a number back to our table and waited. My boss’s order of Balsamic Chips came out shortly thereafter. Thank goodness she offered to share them with all of us, because they were as good as they looked! The Bill Goat chips were partly crunchy and partly soft from the all the melted gouda. And that gouda provided the perfect creamy, mild flavor to balance the bite of the balsamic. I’m not usually a balsamic fan, but this is a dish that I would order on every visit(and I’m even thinking I should try and make my own at home…). And a few minutes after we’d inhaled our appetizer, our sandwiches arrived. My burger was quite delicious! The egg was cooked easy and bacon was thick and flavorful. The grilled potatoes(my choice of side) were fantastic! They had plenty of super crispy bits and they were bursting with flavor! I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return myself!

Wonderful mom and pop place. I’ve been here many times and am never disappointed by the quality of the food and warm, cozy atmosphere. I work nearby, and It’s our first choice when taking folks out for coffee. I’m looking forward to checking out a live music Tuesday night soon.

We just happened upon this place when I did a search for vegetarian restaurants near our location. The place reminds me of a ski resort with wood furniture and walls, like a lodge. We both ordered the same thing, one of their specialties, a black bean burger. It comes on a super fresh and delicious fun with housemaid chipotle sauce fresh spinach, A tomato that looks like it was picked in August and it’s December and fresh red onion. I got a side of fresh fruit and my wife got Billy go chips. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you and the burgers piping hot. The two young women at the counter were absolutely delightful and well-versed with the menu. Unfortunately, we are not out in this area of West County very often, but if we were I would come here regularly.

I had a great experience here! I went solo as I usually do. They were happy to serve me and quickly point out the vegan items. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and my food was served quickly! I ordered the black bean burger with the salad as a side and then got a(I don’t remember the name… pics will be included) oatmeal jam sort of bar! So my burger was absolutely the BEST black bean burger I have ever had. It had a ‘stick to your ribs’ quality about it. The avocado was fresh and the mayo wasn’t spicy(good for me). The salad was lightly tossed in a maple sauce and was very good! The dessert was so incredible as well. Normally vegan desserts leave much to be desired but this was so filling and I loved it. I loved how they offered various seating arrangements. I saw groups and people alone like me. It has a very comforting, chill vibe and I’ll definitely return!

The Wolf exceeded my expectations. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, mac & cheese was to die for and the balsamic Billy goat chips [with melted gouda cheese(heck yes)] got devoured by the two of us within 3 minutes of coming to the table. Beer selection was good and if you order a mimosa, they give you a little bottle of champagne and cup of orange juice and let you mix it yourself. Only downside is that it was a little but more expensive than I was expecting, but honestly it was worth it. There were other things on the menu I’d love to try(like all of it and then also the breakfast menu) and I’d actually like to get some coffee there next time.

One of the few places I will even consider to visit in Chesterfield area. All businesses in Chesterfield are obnoxious chain restaurants and I will drive an extra 5 – 10 minutes from my work during my break to come here because it is locally owned. I know I can come to The Wolf Lodge and be greeted by very kind workers, enjoy a peaceful atmosphere to work in(I come in only in the afternoons, looks like the night scene would be different,) and I will always have great food with so many healthy choices. Specifically today, I was THAT annoying customer who ordered everything wrong several times without reading all the info on the menu first. The cashier was calm smiled and helped me even though I was being pretty difficult.(changing my mind and asking for updated pricing…) I then found out the wifi was down they quickly solved the problem AND personally found me to make sure it was working well for me. Always expect a great experience when you come here.

so happy I found this place! I love the atmosphere. My friend and I went here after a hike, and it was the perfect lunch. I had their salmon BLT. The salmon was the moistest salmon I’ve ever had. The bacon on top was amazing. It was thick, crunchy, and tasted perfectly with the salmon. Will come again!

This is the second time I’ve been here. I was here for a Christmas party a couple years ago, but I didn’t get to observe much outside of the large crowd. I chose the quinoa and although it was very good, the portion was small, and I really don’t eat that much at one time. So it was definitely small. My sister had the turkey, bacon and gouda grilled sandwich, which was delicious. I wish I had ordered that instead. I do love the atmosphere and design – it feels a little like the lodge at a ski resort. The difference between old Unilocalers and young Unilocalers is that sometimes we oldtimers rate things like chairs. They are very hard and not comfy!

Good atmosphere and good lunch options. Got the grilled vegetable sandwich with the quinoa«super side» salad. The sandwich was excellent and the goat cheese was a nice compliment. The quinoa salad, however didn’t balance the flavor of the broccoli, nuts and goat cheese. Therefore the dish was overwhelmingly quinoa, which took away from the meal rather than complement it. The staff didn’t tell us that we needed to collect our beverages elsewhere which was frustrating but otherwise were helpful in there recommendations and their positivity contributed to the restaurant’s ambiance. Would be willing to try again at a later date.

Really chill atmosphere. The people taking orders at the counter were super nice. The slinger was delicious. When I first saw the size, I didn’t think I’d be full. Make no mistake, this is real food, no filler. The chili was filling and full of good stuff — black beans and jalapenos. The coffee was really good — they had highlander grogg, my fav. Had a great brunch with the parents!

I came here with my lovely friend after a hike — so I was pretty darn hungry. I always say Hungry is the best seasoning, but I think my food would have been great without it. I had a burger and it was fantastic. Bacon Jam on a burger is the best idea ever. The end. PS — for those who care, they do a very good side salad for replacement for chips.

I came to The Wolf for the first time yesterday for a quick meeting. I had been wanting to try it out for a while but was never in the area. The space is pretty big and cozy! They have a good amount of outdoor seating as well as indoor. The parking lot is a little weird but they also have plenty of parking. It was quite popular for a 9:00AM on a weekday. They have decent sized tea menu but it’s all bagged tea. I was a little disappointed but it was surprisingly good. I got the toasted coconut black tea and loved it. They carry Mississippi mud coffee if you were curious! I wanted to get some food after my meeting but I was in a hurry and forgot. I’ll have to go come back for a meal. Their food looks amazing.

I love trying new restaurants and this one did not disappoint. It’s a cute café what does somewhat rustic look and bicycles and kayak hanging from the ceiling for some reason. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There is also a bar with 6 stools if you are dining alone. The food is very good and unique plus a good selection of beer. I will be back.

Went here for breakfast/brunch with some running buddies after we finished our Saturday morning trek. I had never been before, but it was highly recommended(and chosen) by one in the group. True to its website self-description, the place is indeed rustic inside. I would call it a hunting lodge motif, but definitely without the hunting. Many items on the menu are offered in vegetarian versions, and I got the impression that the same applied to the workers. But anyhoo, it had a fun/enjoyable vibe to it — especially when you are just relaxing and refueling. I’ll just have to rely on my dish, and the appearance of the others’ dishes, for this review. So take it with a grain of salt. I ordered the bacon skillet, which consisted of «3 eggs scrambled, potatoes, choice toast or fruit [I got the fruit], bacon, spinach, onion, tomatoes, Heartland goat cheese. So in case you can’t tell, this is a localvore/sustainable/trendy type of place. But I really liked it. The food was all fresh, nothing was wilted, the eggs(actually all the ingredients) were tasty, and I had forgotten that goat cheese is so much more pungent than cow cheese. But I was full, satisfied, and happy when I finished. Fruit was a nice mix of blueberries, strawberry, and similar. So since I didn’t really get to ask the others how their food was, I’ll just have to say that everyone seemed to be eating heartily, with no complaints. And the appearance & presentation of all the different plates was appealing. It was pretty busy, but our orders came to the table quickly(you stand in line to order, then go have a seat). The workers were all friendly, too. What more could I want? Better than just an average experience, that I recommend to others.

+ MO grass-fed beef burgers + BACONJAM where have you been all my life + Outdoor seating + Dog friendly + Self-serve coffee The Wolf is a cute neighborhood café, order-at-counter style, with a simple but well-curated menu. They offer breakfast until 11am, but they have a few breakfast options available at lunch, just ask. We came here on a Saturday for lunch after a hike at Castlewood State Park. There is covered outdoor seating and a patio area with umbrella-covered tables. We brought my dog here and it was so nice that they already had water bowls set out for pups. Props for being a dog-friendly place! We both had the BISTROBURGER which came with bacon jam and a runny egg. This patty is grass-fed Missouri beef and it had the most incredible texture, as if the outside were slightly caramelized. And the bacon jam is ridiculous. It gives the burger just the right amount of savoriness and it’s absolutely the perfect condiment. I’ve also never seen such a juicy, red tomato slice in my burger before. You can substitute the side(smashed potatoes) for any of the sides available without an upcharge. Food came out within 10 minutes and the staff were very friendly. Verdict: Solid place for lunch. I need more bacon jam in my life. Bring your pups!
