U-Haul

Valley park was flooding… I ordered a 17 foot van… first of all… they say they open at 7am… the woman’s car was there but did not open till 705… what’s 5 minutes right.? Well she knew I was outside… she knew we were losing our minds trying to get moved before we flooded… I had the truck 7 hours… I drove my stuff from Marshall rd and 7^th Street to public storage on meremac station rd… I would have used there storage… but even though it said a penny for the first month she said it was gonna cost over a 100… that was fine. I went elsewhere. … where I paid 1 penny
… I returned the truck early… didn’t drive more than 20 miles… and was charged 35.00 for fuel… I brought this up to her. … quik trip is next door… I put 10.00 in the truck… this woman told me to prove it… wtf… who saves a fuel bill when the Guage didn’t move? I am going to u haul corporate. … not worried about 35.00… it’s the principal. … and I’ve rented more trucks from them than the average bear… I was taken advantage of in time of disaster. … I highly recommend using uhaul on manchester… they know me… they know how much I rent ftom them… this Woman left a black eye on a very reputable company… by the way… she made the people outside fairly upset… took entirely to long … don’t know if they left but I would’ve. … other than the u haul name and what a kind company they’ve been to me in the past… I would NEVER use this buisness again… and if not to make matters worse… when I asked for 24 hour service the first night fearing I would run out of time… she tried charging me for that also.. public storage was free 24 hour service for the first 48 hours… I wouldn’t give this place a half a star… but was made leave something. …
Do your family and yourself a favor… do not use this storage … could very well cost you your last dollar…

A used to be customer!!!

I signed up 2 weeks prior to my move date in order to pickup a truck from this location. Less than 24 hours prior to the pickup, I get a call from another location saying I needed to pick my truck up from a completely different location. It is 20 minutes away rather than 2 minutes away. I have movers coming and now I will have to hustle to get back so the movers will have enough time. I think it is ridiculous this happened and they said it was due to a truck not being available at the other location. I suppose 2 weeks is too difficult to keep a reservation. Bait and switch.
