Notaries are notoriously hard to find. Before I called this guy, I went to two banks and several supermarkets looking with no luck. I even called around and it’s hard to find ones that do after hours support for a good price. I thought maybe I’d have to pay 75 out of pocket to get a mobile notary to get something done same day. Not the case! I stumbled on 24 Hour Notary of Towson, which gave me a great deal. I did have to travel to his building which, if you had to judge purely by lighting, maybe looks a little suspicious. However, it is in fact a very very nice area, being mere blocks away from the relatively new and luxurious looking Towson mall. What they may lack in professional appearance (depending on the hour of day) they more than make up for in courtesy, friendliness and availability. I would recommend 24 Hour Notary of Towson to anyone pressed for time to get a notarization done. I think they would also be sufficient for other notarizations as well, depending on your needs.

Frederick really is open 24 hours a day, give him a call the next time you need something notarized! I went to him with a document and it turned out I actually didn’t need it notarized, my fault entirely. But he was kind enough to explain why and what I should ask my company regarding what they were having me sign. He didn’t just notarize it and take my money, like I’m sure others would have done; he took the time to explain to me some very complicated legal mumbo-​jumbo. I would definitely use him in the future and recommend him to anyone in the baltimore area. Thanks!

Revised review: Frederick is NOT a competent notary.
I just discovered he did not sign the document I paid him to notarize. He did indeed stamp it, but did NOT sign it. He was rude on the phone and refused to correct his error.
Fredrick has major attitude — so take your business to anyone else!
