B Doughnut

I have been eating donuts for 65 yrs. I was excited after seeing the write up in the Sunpaper. How disappointing! They were mediocre at best. At $ 2.80 apiece, they were grossly overpriced. There was very little cream filling. There was a little more of the berry jam filling and it was tasty. Go to good bakery like the Woodlea or Fenwick. Store bakeries and dunkin donuts have better products at cheaper prices.

EXCELLENT service!!! The everything doughnut and nitrogen cold brew coffee was amazing! Wonderful establishment, would highly recommend!

Great little shop with a husband and wife team. They commute to the neighborhood and must wake up at ungodly hours to make it happen.
The prices are higher than Dunkin so just get over it. The quality is too so that should help.
Cream filled is their specialty… and the cream is just right.
I docked a star for the hours but to be honest thats just the insatiable consumer in me. They are doing it the old school way of get’em while they are hot and fresh and available.

Got my friends doughnuts from here on a whim, they haven’t stopped talking about them.

Hedged a bit between 3 and 4 stars, and settling on 3 for now. The consensus was really that these weren’t quite worth the calories, even though some of the flavors were good.
As other reviewers have noted, they’re just not really _​tender_​. Tried one of the holiday flavors (white chocolate peppermint), which was nicely flavored but oddly textured — the filling was almost curdled in texture, and the dough was chewy in an unpleasant way — just not the tender, melt in your mouth feel you’d want from this kind of donut. Also tried one of their new «doughssant“s, their cross between a doughnut and a croissant. It had very obvious, definitely laminated dough layers, but it was quite honestly hard to bite through and kinda hurt my mouth — way too chewy. The vanilla bean custard on the top was amazing, though — and I’d love to go back early enough for when they’re not sold out to try one of those and hopefully give them that fourth star!

Love the donuts, espicially how they have a different variety everyday. The donuts are a bit on the sweeter side since it is sugar coated. I was extremely surprised by the peanut butter one, it was awesome!!!

I have a weakness for donuts. Tasty orbs born of a marriage between a cloud and deep fried sin, what could be more awesome?
These donuts are fine — not great, not terrible — just fine. Just a couple of niggling points:
The dough isn’t as tender as it could be. It isn’t heavenly to chew. That sugar crust lends a kind of sandy experience which some people like — I find it gritty. The creamy fillings are light, it’s true, but almost insubstantial except for the cheesecake donut which could use a little more cheesy oomph, if you ask me. Alas, the fluffy interiors are just another reminder that the fried exterior isn’t meltingly tender. One welcome surprise was that the donuts aren’t that sweet — a sophisticated touch — but sadly the lack of sweetness exposes a very faint bitter finish which seems to be coming from the dough. Maybe the yeast ferment?
There is no jelly donut which — what the heck? — is either an oversight or a crime.
And what’s with the prices? They’d be worth it if the experience were as artisanal as its promise. Caveat: this place is brand new. I give them room if they’re tweaking recipes and finding their groove. Note to self: revisit in the spring when the leaves bud and the heart wants its delight.

Being from the Baltimore area and hearing about this place from a friend all the way in VA meant that I had to try this place out. It did not disappoint. The donuts were delicious and perfectly soft, each having various sweet cream fillings from vanilla bean, maple bacon, strawberry cheesecake, pumpkin pie (seasonal) and many more. We tried each of the flavors, and they were all so good. The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee, but I’m more of a latte drinker so that could be why. Regardless, we will definitely be back again!

I am a fan. These were some fresh ass delicious doughnuts, don’t get me wrong. But I just don’t think they’re for everyone.
Went early on a Saturday and they were well stocked. Place was clean and cozy and staff was friendly.
Some people on here are all «I don’t consider myself a doughnut expert» — well I do. The fillings are interesting-​ish and they were definitely fresh, but I think they are overpriced for what you get (artisan, I know, I know), but they are def smaller than I thought they’d be. I kind of like that, though, because you can eat more than one and not feel like a total lard.
They are fluffy little edible clouds, but the fact that they’re all the same doughnut shell with the same consistency in all of the fillings, idk, a little underwhelming. But definitely tried and true and good for what they are. So I’ll definitely be back and recommend them, but I probably won’t be making any special early trips.

Yes… This is no joke. B Doughnut serves up some amazingly good doughnuts (and coffee) at very reasonable prices ($ 2 – 3 a pop).
These doughnuts are of the cream-​filled type, with plenty of delicious flavors available. The doughnut encasing reminds me of Japanese sugar buns, and the cream filling offers a good balance and texture. Needlessly to say, everything is very fresh.
I wish their hours would be more flexible, but maybe heavier foot traffic in the future might do the trick.

was in the area and needed a pick’er upper and decided to stop by this small shop for some coffee and while i was at it i got a doughnut too and to my pleasant surprise it was pretty damn good! Coming from a guy who doesn’t eat sweets i’d come back!

Wow, these doughnuts are really, really good. i wont consider myself a doughnut expert, but these doughnuts are legit, soft, fluffy and filling. Yeah, by the way dont get one, you may want to get a half dozen or something within that range. Its that good. All the fillings are great.

These donuts are amazing!!! I personally don’t like donuts but oh my gosh! I’m craving another one already! The filling is not too sweet and the donut is really soft and chewy! Can’t wait to order some more!

These doughnuts are ridiculously good. They are so light but have a nice crunch on the outside. The cream fillings are well balanced– not cloying like other places. The owners are also extremely nice. I asked when they might expand their hours, and apparently they come all the way from northern Virginia each morning and prep past midnight each night! Amazing dedication which shows in their product.
P. S. Their coffee is also on point.

These doughnuts are legit! The fluffiness is real, what you see is really what you get. I couldn’t get over how amazingly soft and fluffy these were! It made me and my tummy happy. They have different flavored fillings and can’t wait to try them all and see what other flavors they come up with. Pumpkin spice and berry crème are my faves!

B doughnuts delivered in my neighborhood before their shop opened and it was delicious! I didn’t get to eat it fresh but I popped it in the microwave real quick and it was still melt in your mouth amazing! Their dough is perfectly fluffy and doesn’t go stale and gross on you if you don’t eat it immediately. You need to try it out yourself, they won’t disappoint!
