Do NOT recommend if you are planning on using the shuttle for the cruise ports. To get to the port we waited at least an hour, and to get back to the hotel we waited over an hour and a half even though they said it would take 20 minutes or so. Every time we called to ask where the shuttle was they had a different excuse why it hadn’t arrived yet. Kept saying it would be there«momentarily». The other Best Western, Hilton, and Days Inn shuttles came and went multiple times. It’s fine if that’s the speed of service you want to provide, just let your customers know, don’t promise that a shuttle will arrive in a few minutes when you really mean 50 minutes. From what we could gather, they were waiting until 9 o’clock to drop off other passengers and didn’t want to make the earlier trip just to pick people up. Once again, that’s fine, just don’t tell us when you drop us off that you start running the shuttle at 6am and make your customers stand outside in the middle of January for over an hour and a half.

For some reason we walked in and instantly I smelled weed. Not sure if the front desk was lighting up in the back or what. The room was fine, decent enough for the price. We went to dinner, came back and smelled the herb again. Not exactly sure what’s going on here but maybe if I was in my early 20’s I wouldn’t care but yeah, kind of annoying.

Got here yesterday from out of town. Thought I’d save s few $$ before heading to a conf downtown today the room was fine. The staff at check-in were great – super friendly & helpful. I knew I needed a cab early today to get downtown. The gentleman at the desk, booked it & called my room to confirm. This morning, no cab. The women at the desk did not seem to care. I asked them to call – they said in a minute. I said I really need to get downtown. They broke into song DOWNTOWN. NOTWHAT I NEEDED! Cab finally got here & I’m starting the day off late. Best Western-ohhhh how you disappoint!!!

Nightmare fiasco… they overbooked and didn’t have our room. We had a reservation number and called earlier that day to confirm. Do not stay here.

Don’t stay here is you are trying to get to the airport or have any type of schedule requiring timeliness. The staff is totally unconcerned with getting you to the airport on time. They say that the shuttle runs every 30 minutes but that’s not true. They call the shuttle person when you ask, and proceed to try to find this person for another 29 minutes. I don’t know if the shuttle person is running errands, sleeping– or whatever, but the staff is uninterested in helping you after making the initial call. You might wait for 30 minutes for the shuttle, which is only 11 minutes away from the airport. They are SUPER defensive. I feel like they are«trying» to get better, but haven’t learned true professionalism yet. The breakfast is adequate.

We had a difficult time staying here. The manager is a defensive person. When the hotel shuttle bus was blocking the parkway, she dismissed my dad’s concerns that it was blocking other cars from advancing. She told him it was company policy and that he just had to accept it. I told her that no one cleaned my hotel room and she said that it is her hotel’s policy never to touch a bed if any personal items are left on them. I have been to a lot of hotels and this is the first time I ever heard of that policy. The wifi never worked so I had to use my cell data plan to access the internet. The only redeeming thing was our breakfast. The lady serving the meals was splendid and hospitable. I tipped her for sure. But I will never return to this place ever again, not with a manager like that.

I stayed here overnight for a show I was doing in nearby York, PA. Purchased by my organization’s logistics coordinator, I already had a reservation when I got to the hotel. I was able to check in fairly quickly. There was a minor issue with the site my coordinator went through but once that was cleared up I got my keys and could thankfully go lie down before my show. Starting with the lobby it was quite large and quite aesthetically pleasing. Having their own little market you can purchase some food, drinks, and other items you might have forgotten to pack was a nice feature as well as fresh brewed coffee available all the time. The room was fair sized and tastefully put together and the bathroom also had decent space. The beds were comfortable, clean, and had great pillows. Upon waking up the next day, I of course had to try their continental breakfast. It was actually quite good with the make your own waffle station, eggs, sausage, and pastries. What a great way to start a day of travel. Overall this is a great, not expensive option for staying near the BWI airport. Happy travels!
