Working in Baltimore for a week. Looking to end a long week in a relaxed atmosphere. Bobby’s delivered. Found them on Unilocal and as usual, Unilocal paid off. Live jazz cover band, libations and good food. The cigar was the cherry on top.

Another great spot to hangout and enjoy a good cigar and conversation for adults. This venue renders smooth jazz, delicious food and great drinks all served with a smile!!!

I took a date here for dinner and music last Friday. It seemed almost underground as I’ve never been here and couldn’t find too much about it on line. Bobby’s is located just a few blocks west of M&T stadium with plenty of parking. Stepping inside the club we were greeted by Bobby and ordered a few drinks. I had a Stella and my date had a glass of wine. Prices are moderately high. He ran out of Stella Artois on draft so I had to do bottles after two. For dinner we went with sweet potato fries but they were out, they were also out of crab and salmon, and the menu isn’t that large. Undeterred I did the Jambalaya and my date did the Baked Tilapia. But first in place of the sweet potato fries we started with fries with melted cheese, bacon and chicken, it was good. My Jambalaya came out with chicken and shrimp served on a bed of rice that was heavy with tomato sauce. It tasted OK but lacked peppers, onion and a real creole flavor. The Tilapia was a bit salty but cooked perfectly, and the broiled potato’s that came with it were great, all buttery and soft. After dinner we migrated upstairs for some live music. Upstairs has a full bar, 7 or 8 small tables and a stage, The band was fun, and entertaining. And the who would have guessed such a large full voice could come out of the young lady singing Etta James. Ok, the food wasn’t great, so why do I give this place 5 stars? It’s beautiful The service was great(Bobby gave us cupcakes to sample) This club bleeds soul and character, I love it. What a great evening. but lets keep this between you and I ok?
