if you’re any kind of forrest gump fan, you HAVE to visit here if your in the area. the food is o.k., nothing great, but still a fun place to eat. you have to pay attention when the waiters speak, because they try to be in character and mumble some.

Tourist trap. Great for kids. Fun. Lively waiters give you Forrest Gump trivia. My table of 12 was lost in the running show on the TV in the bar area(no wait if you sit at the bar and we took a really long free standing bar table in the center as we had 6 starving children after a day at the Aquarium. Shrimp Scampi is my favorite there, with capers, when in a pasta mood. REALLY cute kids meals served in the«Jenny» — a box that is the boat!

Hesitant to come in but glad we did. Bartender very personable and he made a great mango mojito. NE clam chowder tasty as well as the crab cake appetizers(no filler here). Shrimp mac n cheese yummy as well.

Stopped by to get some seafood after my cousin’s wedding in Baltimore. The food and service was average. Nothing too special. Quality of the food doesn’t really match the price they sell their food. Probably the best thing my girlfriend and I got was probably the shrimp shack mac and cheese. It was seasoned well, but how can anymore mess up cooking mac and cheese? We also ordered the seafood hush puppies, which was advertised as «Bubba’s, All-Time Best», but it was bland and not that great. False advertisement there. Probably better advertised as all-time best as drunk munchies. For our main entrée we order the net catch entrée, which had shrimp, vegetables, and sausage seasoned with their special seasoning or old bay seasoning. It was salty as hell and the shrimps were tiny(quarter size shrimps). If you want legit seafood don’t go chain restaurant type places like this.

Wife and I went in for a desert and a drink. Gave us a desert menu which didn’t have prices. I should have asked for a regular menu but didn’t. Two samplers, a root beer float and a White Russian for $ 48.00. AREYOUKIDDINGME? The food was average. The float didn’t taste like any root beer float I ever tasted. I didn’t even get half down.

It’s ok. My meal was actually pretty good which was a pleasant surprise. But with those prices I would stick to happy hour and that’s it.

Synopsis: Atmosphere: 3.5÷5 Service: 3.5÷5 Taste: 4⁄5 Price: 3⁄5 Selection: 4⁄5 This is a pretty average chain restaurant type deal that is focused solely around seafood and shrimp. Nothing too special about this location, and the food is pretty good, but prices should be lower for the quality. The atmosphere of this environment is pretty average. Nothing too special and not bad. It is easy to talk to people and not too crowded. The table could have been a little bigger for 4 people, but it wasn’t bad. Taste was pretty good and enjoyable. I got stuffed shrimp, and I didn’t have a problem with its taste, but it was a little expensive for what I got. If the portion was bigger then it would have scored higher. I also had some sort of fruity drink and that was very delicious. The service wasn’t bad, our server was good at his job, but one order for my dad almost didn’t arrive. It was taking forever and we had to ask the server what was up. He said the manager was going to come and speak to us and give us his meal for free. The meal was still free, which is good because it took way longer than it should have, but the manager never came. I think if the manager said he/she was coming they should come. The selection of the foods was pretty solid. A lot to choose from and it was diverse, but I feel like there could have been more considering it is a chain restaurant. As I said early price was high for quality of food. The drinks are tricky too. If you are going to get a specialty drink be aware that they sell you the drink and the glass with the drink. So the drinks are going to cost you $ 12 a piece. Overall, if you like seafood then this place is okay to eat, but you can probably find a better place for the price.

The wait time to get in was long, it took 10 minutes for a server to come after I was seated, and they were not busy at all. The cup of gumbo was watery, and only had sausage in it, with one tiny piece of shrimp. I. ordered a crab cake sandwich that came out about 25 minutes after I ordered it. It was pathetic for the price. You can get a far better crab cake just about anywhere in the city for the price they charge. Served on a stale bun no less… $ 30 for a long, slow lunch. You can probably do better just about anywhere within walking distance.

Service was ok. Food was ok while I was there but I think I ate some bad shrimp because I was very ill upon arrival back to my hotel room. Not sure if the shrimp was cooked in old oil or I ate some bad shrimp. Better service at the NYC location– staff there seem to enjoy their job and are more into the movie.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time now… After taking my daughter to the Science Center I decided enough was enough and we went in for lunch. I won’t bore you with a long drawn out review… Simply stated I was disappointed. Everything was just BLAH… I had the Fried Forrest Sampler and my daughter had the kids Popcorn Shrimp. Neither had any serious«WOW» factor flavor… My entrée was bland and though the popcorn shrimp had flavor it wasn’t one I liked, at all. Bottom line maybe I need to try something other than something fried, I won’t be back for a while.

My sister and I stopped here this sat evening to try something new in our weekend in Baltimore. I have seen Bubba Gump locations before, but never have visited. We got seated very quickly given the heavy Otakon traffic, and our server was very informative with our questions. The burgers we ordered were the best restaurant burgers we’ve had in recent memory and were well worth the money. The Frizzled Onions were also good, though I would not get it all the time since they fill one up quickly. Our only complaint is the Old Bay seasoning on the fires, which made them a little too spicy to finish(but given I don’t eat a lot of things in Old Bay normally, I don’t have as much stomach for it). All in all, a cute quirky restaurant with a great menu and atmosphere. May have to go back later in the weekend for one of their souvenir drinks :) P. s. Shout out to our server Laura! She was awesome!

This place just is what it is, they took a theme from a critically aclaimed movie and tried to capitalize off of it… The food– I had the seafood bucket and it was tasty, but then again it is shrimp and seafood you really cant do anything wrong with the seafood. the drinks– this is where i have the most problem. tey claim to have rules limiting the amount of alcohol that can be placed into a beverage at this location. i think it is absolutely absurd. the drinks are just down right terrible and extremely over priced. if u want to have a drink with your dinner go with beer or wine here its the most bang you will get for your buck. the locations is beautiful it is literally right on the water and the view is very nice, especially during the summer you can look right out onto the water the staff definitely needs some work, not very knowledgable and seemed to be overwhelmed. the experience was just not a personable one. i think of this restaurant as a tourist attraction so you would think the staff would be a little better, considering this is the impression for baltimroe we are giving off to out of towners and visitors to the harbor. all in all i was very underwhelmed by the entire dinner and am in no rush to find my way back down there. they have no parking and it is quite a hassle to find parking that is not extremely exspensive.

First I will say I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because I thought the customer service was GREAT! I am so big on customer service and each served who stopped by our table when we flipped the sign needing someone, was very helpful and also genuine. I won’t give this restaurant 5 stars because the food was overrated and overpriced and you don’t get very much. I believe I paid about $ 14-$ 15 for 3 skewers over jasmine rice that only gave me 2 pieces of shrimp on each. That was disappointing. Not a huge jasmine rice person but theirs was really good and I enjoyed it. They are really overpriced though.

Location here is great. Right on the Harbor, where you wanna be in Baltimore. The wait was not too bad. Infact they were able to seat my party of 8 within 20 minutes. Since it was sunny and less of wait we chose to sit outside instead of indoor where it would have been an hour wait. It did get a little windy, which was annoying The food took a while to come out I felt. None of the food here seemed anything out of the ordinary. Overall seemed like bar food. I can’t say anything was actually good here besides the stuffed mushrooms. The tab came out a little high for my liking. Would I come back here??? Well if the wait at other places was bad or if I just wanted drinks ID probably come here… Otherwise I’d go to somewhere else around here. Enjoy the pics.

It has been a while since I have visited a Bubba Gump restaurant. I had fond memories up until my recent visit. Don’t get me wrong, service was great and I appreciate the anyone-can-help me atmosphere where you flip the card and any waiter or other staff will stop to assist you. However, when we ordered a drink from the bar mid-meal, it took about 4 stops/staff members to get it to the table. This happened twice. Not good. With regard to dinner, I ordered the Chipotle Crusted Tilapia. The tilapia was average and at almost $ 20, I expected more food. Needless to say, I ate all of the tilapia and rice. I also had a glass of wine that was enjoyed. However, I am not apt to visit another Bubba Gump any time soon.

First time here and I have to say it was wonderful! The staff, the food, the atmosphere and location were all reasons to return. The price is average for the area and well worth it. I had the stuffed shrimp and my man had the scampi. Both delicious! The new spring drink collection with souvenir glasses were just what we needed on a warm day. Just ask the waitress and she’s more than willing to give you a shot of top shelf if you prefer alcohol. Our waitress even overheard that it was my birthday so the entire crew brought me desert and sang a great rendition of happy birthday

I will say that the drinks are awesome. A bit pricey when compared to other places. I opted to eat at the bar where I ordered the Fisherman’s Feast(various fried fish). The food was good but it was on par with the food you would get from Long John Silver. I peeked over and saw the ribs that the patrons to my left had ordered and wished I got those. Kind of weird to say in a seafood place. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing and surprisingly on a Friday night it was not crowded. I will try Bubba Gump again and try something else off their menu but the food I had on this night was not something that made me say I must return.

If I must choose a franchise to dine at, I would choose Bubba Gump… but not this particular location in Baltimore. Although the food was edible and the menu didn’t differ from most of my past Bubba Gump experiences, the quality of the seafood here is on the low end of the totem pole. I dare say that they probably rely on their tourist patrons to make their money, and definitely not any local returning customers. The shrimp is smaller than I remember, dry, and flavorless. They use an excessive amount of oil for the non-deep fried dishes, which just leaves you feeling more fat than satisfied at the end of the meal. It almost makes you feel like you should have spent your $ 80 at Burger King instead. Well, Mama Gump did say«life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gon’ get». Guess Mama was right!
