I ordered a cake from here for my Halloween wedding this year (2014). I have to say, the taste of the cakes is out-​of-​this-​world. The cakes are absolutely divine. We ordered a 3 layer cake with different flavors for each layer. One layer was coconut, and even several people who normally hate coconut liked it. We also ordered chocolate chip and Neapolitan (which was a really fun and really unique flavor for a cake!).
Based on taste alone, this bakery would get 5 stars. But the decoration on the cake was probably a 3. It wasn’t BAD, just average. It was just a LITTLE more juvenile than we would have liked – all of the decoration was done with fondant, and I think some of the decorations would have been better served painted or piped on to be a bit more graceful.
That said, Denise was wonderful and very professional to work with. And her cakes are truly, ridiculously delicious. I would definitely recommend her, because your cake will be scrumptious and your guests will love it.
