NOT giving this place an other try. Their hours listed are incorrect. Waste of time to deal with incompetence.

I would give them 5 stars because their crabs are good sometimes but pricey I wouldn’t mind paying the price but the lady who take your order with the blonde hair is prejudice and rude she actually told me to set my money on the counter picked it up with a napkin and before that I asked her did she have any female crabs and instead of saying yes or no she spoke in a rude voice saying wait until I get to you she spoke 5 words instead of saying yes or no which was 1 word wow I’ll never go there again

Lastweek I really wanted some crabs. So when I stopped at McDonald’s across the street from the crab house to return a movie to the redbox, the aroma of the seasoning turned me around. The customer service was pretty good also. I actually ate 10 small crabs. Next time I’ll order medium.

NOTETOREADER: This is your resident Honeycomb Hideout Hellcat typing. The review you are about to read is for a place that is not widely known, not famous, not in any Baltimore magazine, and you may not even find it on MapQuest… but trust & believe you WILLNOT be disappointed should you venture to the east side trenches to peep this spot for your crustacean fix. Corner Crab has some of best meaty and/or juicy crabs in East Baltimore. The prices are usually what I would consider«just okay» but when you taste the crabs, the complaints about what you paid coming out of your mouth are soon forgotten as you insert a crab leg into it. I deal with this place mainly for bulk orders only because they give the best deals on bushels and even throw in random dozens for free. Also, you are entered for chances to win a free bushel during the Summer months and they hold drawings weekly! With most crab spots, whether off season or during the Summer, it’s always a good idea to call ahead and find out crab prices and the availability of what you want. Same applies here. Just because this spot is small, literally on the corner and is nothing but a mere house shaped shack, don’t make the mistake of thinking this place doesn’t get heavy business. Crab enthusiasts from the west side of town frequent this place for special occasions requiring bulk orders of crabs. Everyone I know has also had great customer service experiences with this place so I’m thinking the last reviewer may have caught them on a bad night. Anyway, try it for yourself and see.

The service was horrible. I used to eat here when the ‘dad’ handled the register and he was overall a great person but the ‘kids’ are rude, slow and uncaring. It always crowded and hot. The wait time is long and my order was completely wrong. Never again

I’m not an expert on crabs. I eat them probably 2 to 3 times a year. But after having shelled out(no pun intended) $ 50 for dozen after dozen of mediocre«large» crabs at various other places in the area this place was fantastic. A bona fide ‘hon’ greeted me at the counter, seemingly misplaced in this seedy neighborhood. The larges were the largest larges I’ve ever received, and at $ 45 their ‘dozen’ came with 18 crabs.(A special they were running) Maybe its the time of the year — I understand fall is when the true Maryland crabs(i.e., not Louisiana/NC crabs) are sold. Maybe you just have to hike out to shady parts of town to find good crabs. Maybe this place has just been around since the neighborhood was nice because their crabs are so good. I don’t know. All I know is I got ridiculously large crabs with gobs of seasoning(how it’s supposed to be), cooked perfectly(not slimy, not spongy). I’ll definitely be back.
