Dr Oanh Lauring

Very frustrated with the billing etc. through Dr. Lauring’s office and Mercy.
Turns out they have a new policy where you have to pay $ 25 per visit to the hospital (in addition to the co-​pay).
I wasn’t thrilled about paying the fee, but I did at both my appointments. Imagine my surprise when I get a notice from a collections agency just a few days ago.
After leaving a message (no returned call) last week, I finally spoke with someone. After 20+ minutes we finally figured out that I had not been receiving notices of an unpaid bill. Except, I did pay the bill. AND even though I have proof of payment in the form of a cashed and scanned check, they could not it in their records.
Instead of checking farther on their end, it’s now my responsibility to print and mail the proof.
Very frustrating. Urg.
