I’ve only ever been for happy hour. Once the week before last and once two years ago when I first moved to Baltimore. I will say that the DJ is always good and the food is pretty good, although there are better happy hour prices elsewhere. There were way more people 2 years ago; it was sparse for a Friday night. The problem that I have is the servers seem to use the fact that a 20% gratuity is automatically added as an excuse to give poor service. We had to flag our server down every time we wanted something. The drinks were good. I may go back.

A few years ago this place was totally different. A friend of mine warned me not to go there. But, I insisted we go. I will never go back again ! Everything has changed and not in a good way !!!

This used to be my favorite and convenient place to go to when I attended Morgan State and actually kept in touch with ppl who worked here. Now, I’m not an avid visitor and that’s bc of the Morgan State crowd. Plus I feel that as the Amazon that I am, the building isn’t tall enough and it’s a little small. I do however like to go to the small events it throws every now and then. But that’s it. Great for the younger crowd like younger than 25, but not for me anymore.

A cool for Baltimore chic type spot. Im not much on the B-More party scene but its located right in the art district of Mt. Vernon so it made the lounge/nightclub sexy yet intimate in its own way and most importantly it made the atmosphere, how can i say, less Baltimorish ! I did’nt eat or order anything so I cant really speak on the quality of food but i think its Ethiopian, if im not mistaken however the VIP section was slick, lots of space from the crowded dance floor. Meaning, an actual conversation can be had as you are supposed to be able to have in a lounge, especially if its supposed to be an after-office scene. Lots of beautiful women and lots of house, same bpm music, not a bad experience at all, ive been back 3x for business so whats that tell you… XoXo

The décor is a little over the top, but I don’t hate it. I appreciate the effort. The food was nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t expect it to be. It’s a lounge after all, not a restaurant. My biggest qualm is with the crowd. The guys look a little rough, and the women are bigger than I like them. But hey, some men claim to like«thicker» chicks. On an absolute scale, I’m not Eden’s biggest proponent, but if you’re looking for a place in baltimore, where the majority of the crowd will have brown faces, and you don’t want to deal with knuckleheads, Eden’s and perhaps Red Mapple are your best bet.

Nightlife :) Of all the places I’ve been to so far for the last 7 months, bars, lounges inner harbor, fells, fed hill, power plant…- this is by far MYFAVORITESPOT. Came here for a DJ that was here a few months ago on a Saturday – Hole in the wall:) LOVED all the music, hip hop, r&b, soul and NOT top 40’s. We came back here for my best friend’s birthday on a Friday and it was the best and more– reminds me of SoCal when I just needed to go out to some where and dance my *** off. My favorite places in San Diego: Fluxx, Ivy, Fleetwood, Boudior, Bar 90, Beachwood(2009 – 2012: dates are very important as clubs fade in and out especially in San Diego …) And Edens Lounge is like a mix of these with a Baltimore twist? :D I haven’t tried their food, Ethiopian… which I definitely want to, so I’ll go back and follow up with a review . LOVELOVELOVE Finally!

I came out here on Friday night to celebrate a friend’s Air Force retirement. They got the VIP section up front by the doors and it was really nice to have a lot of room to sit and chill when not on the floor. The music was really good and the crowd was great! Once again, I was the Token Filipino as the crowd was not diverse, but I still had a blast! This was my first time out to this part of Bmore and honestly, it was a nice area. The Lounge itself had nice décor and staff was pretty friendly. Bottle costs range from $ 150+, depending on what you prefer. Awkward moment of the night happened around 1030PM when some dude pulled an R. Kelly and decided to piss on the dance floor! Yup, he whipped it out and tinkled on the dance floor! Security pounced on him and tossed him out with the quickness. The DJ was hilaroius putting him on blast. The clean up crew came in and mopped it up and used bleach to disinfect the peepee.lol. Good thing it happened early in the evening and not when it was poppin around 1130!

On both of my visits to Eden’s Lounge I’ve had a great experience. Monday nights are typically geared towards college students over the age of 21. The dance floor is kind of small however it was still a great experience. The VIP section in the back is all white with purple and blue lighting which just makes you feel like you’re ‘living large’. Be mindful of who you purchase your table from because you may not get what you paid for. Tuesday night’s are the Organic Soul Open Mic Nights(which is a completely different atmosphere from Monday nights). During happy hour, as many of my fellow Unilocalers have said, the 2−4−1 drink specials are awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entertainment and the experience is a steal for a low cover charge of $ 5. No matter what type of night you’re trying to have whether is sexy and soulful or a night of partying, Eden’s seems like the place to be.

Always a great night when you enter the«The Garden of Edens Lounge». Edens is one of the local spot that you know you will have a great time there every time. I recently partied here with a group of friends. We opted for the VIP«stage«section, which in my opinion is the only way to party there. Edens is very popular and can become crowded quickly. So if your not into sucking it all in just to walk around pay the extra $$$ for bottle service. We opted for a party packaged that consisted of 2 bottles(Alcohol) in case you didn’t know what«bottles» meant, three dinner platters and cupcake dessert. The food was tasty: finger size ribs, chicken satay and buffalo wings. The DJ kept the crowd on the dance floor, but if you ask me I’d «Blame it on the A.A.A.lcohol. The music was just OK., sometimes it can be a hit or miss when it comes to the music. As far as décor and service I’m a fan. The crowd is usually between 25 – 40 this might be why the djs have a tendency to play a few early 90s late 80s top tens(eh I’m not a fan). As far as the overall look of the place, they have done an nice job. Edens is definitely that spot I know I’ll have a good time here again and again.

I had a great time. Happy hour was legit — 2 for 1; how can you beat that all throughout the night. The atmosphere was live and happening — although music was a bit loud — but it was great. Waitresses were on point — I thought it was a great lounge. Now let’s talk about the food — I was really impessed. I ordered the Shrimp Mango and a friend had the Fish Fillet and wow, I was blown away that it was good. The drinks were also legit — she did the hard alcohol, I did the wine. Again, 2 for 1, can’t be beat. Any which way — Friday night was off the chain. I can’t say anything about any other night … but I definitely know that this a go to spot as a I trek through Baltimore area.

Not the best club but when all else fails, go to edens. I been on a Wednesday and Sunday. I can’t describe the crowd, a mix between locals and college students(or alumni because some look pretty old) I enjoy myself enough to go back if the time is right but it’s nothing I’m dying to get my party on at. It’s mainly the crowd for me…

This what I like to call an «old faithful». 1– Happy Hour great 2−4−1 deals 2– Parking near by 3– Music is always great Friday and Saturday. 4– 2 decent sized bars Free before 10pm … $ 10 before 11pm…$ 20 after It is also a restaurant… I however am not a fan of eating a meal then partying. So I havent tried the food, that they are know for. But I have had a wing or two along with some shared fries. Nothing to scream about… not bad, just not great. Its gets 4 and not 5. because of the size of the dance floor. They have tables that line the floor during dinner hours. But they never remove the chairs. when the DJ comes on the dance area gets super tight. People that are sitting are getting bumped, then the people that are dancing are squeezing tighter and tighter.

I moved from Baltimore about 8 years ago. I still come and visit atleast 3 times a year because my friends and family are here. Well my girls friends are I always do a get together while I am here. We went to Eden’s Lounge on 8÷7÷10. We got there right before happy hour ended and get a chance I spent 20 bucks and that was for 2 drinks and a happy hour large meal. Wow would never happen in LA. All the staff was nice and very pretty. Everyone at the club was nice and respectful. Not ghetto. In a nice area. plenty of parking. Then DJ Quick Silver had the club jumping. I danced all night. I have not had that much fun in years. That will be my stop every time I visit home.

Being that I have been here a couple of times, I guess it’s that time to write my much anticipated review(oh wait… you haven’t been anticipating it? Shucks.) Eden’s Lounge is one of the première lounges in Baltimore located in Mount Vernon, next to Eddie’s. Last time I went to Eden’s Lounge was for Cure Monday a couple of weeks ago and I had a good time. Admission for Eden’s Lounge can vary depending on the night. For example, it’s $ 5 for men before 10:30 on the Monday night, free for women(NOTE: This price is only valid if you show the text message sent. For this text, you can text MONCURE to 41411). On Saturday, it’s usually $ 20. As one previous review stated, the food at Eden’s is pretty good, so no complaints there. The bouncers here can have their moments(no, I’m not talking about good ones), but they have gotten better. Just make sure to have your ID ready so the line can move swiftly. The bartenders and waitresses are friendly, which is always a plus. The women who come here look decent to top-notch, another plus. The dance floor here is small, which can lead to some constant elbow drops and clotheslines. Just pay attention to those around you when dancing, moving, or whatever you do best. Oh, I wasn’t playing with the clothesline part… Oh, parking you ask? There is a parking lot(paying lots I might add) near the end of West Eager Street and N Charles, along with one on Cathedral Street. You can also take your chance parking on the street where there are parking meters, but pay attention to the signs regarding meters. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re into lounges, or even to experience something new. I haven’t been to happy hour yet, so I know I will be back here soon.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Eden’s, so I went there last night to check it out for myself. Here’s my feel for the place: Pros: Food was delicious! My fave was the chicken jalepeno wrap. Excellent drinks. prob the best tasting and best quality drinks I’ve ever had. Good area, nice ambiance & beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful staff(double plus, bc people in bmore can be rude even when you’re spending $ @ their establishment), young-ish but mature crowd, very clean, chill vibes Cons: Men were looking a little zesty, which ain’t bad if you’re a bi or gay dude, but not too cool if you’re a single straight girl…20% gratuity added to ALL orders, VERY small place, don’t go here to party bc they don’t have an actual dance floor. This place is pretty much just a lounge.

The few times I’ve been here it was for something of a musical nature. Be it a live concert or a loungey type party. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance but felt that that wait staff was a bit overwhelmed at times. The prices are reasonable and he food is tasty. Good for dates if you go early for happy hour. But after 9⁄10 pm it turns into a party on some nights.
