Enterprise Rent-A-Car

From reading other reviews of this location, I can see that they in fact do not check or clean the cars and have lazy and untrustworthy employees. I suggest closing this location or hiring all new staff.
My laptop was accidentally left in my rental vehicle and when staff was comforted about it, they were unhelpful and evasive. The story changed several times and clearly the staff were not being truthful about various aspects of the situation. First they claimed they never checked the car or cleaned it before renting it. Then hours later they claimed to have done a walk through of the entire car with the next renters… which is it? The staff was very unprofessional from the very beginning. I should have expected this when I came to pickup the car and staff was arguing amongst each other in front of customers. I even spoke with regional manager Michelle, who said that the car was cleaned and the trunk was checked @ 1:06pm. After waiting for hours the manager Andrew to get back to me, he finally called me @ 3:22p and said that in fact Cortez did not check the trunk so therefore the car was rented without being cleaned. So that contradicted what the regional manager Michelle had already told me. There are cameras located in the area but I was informed that the area that the cars are «cleaned» does not have cameras. Finally, I involved the police and Jamal, who was the associate that handled my rental check-​in, had a totally different story. He said that they did check the trunk and there was nothing there and he also said that it was done in front of the customer who rented the car (who they told me earlier they called to ask if anything was left in the trunk/​car) which is where the camera is located. The whole situation was very shady and although I lost a MacBook, I just want to warn anyone from renting cars from a place like this because it could happen to you.

I was not happy with my experience at this enterprise location for several reasons. First, after they confirmed a pick up time of 12:00 noon, they failed to show up so at 12:30 when I called, they asked if I could catch a cab to them. Second, we finally get our car and when we open the trunk to load our luggage it smells like weed and the interior of the car smells like cigarettes. We ask if we can have a different car because if we can smell the weed from outside of the car, we don’t want to get pulled over and have any issues nor do we enjoy the smell of cigarettes. The representative smelled the trunk and the interior of the car and acknowledged that he could smell weed. They didn’t have any other standard sized cars so called a nearby location to see if we could switch with them. After CLEARLY acknowledging that he could smell weed to my boyfriend and me, he tells the rep from the other location that I just didn’t like the way it smelled and he couldn’t smell anything. VERY unprofessional. I gave this place two stars only because they agreed to switch the vehicles. They ended up just giving us an SUV at no extra charge. BUT the interior and exterior had obviously not been cleaned.

I’ve rented here on several occasions. The cars are typically dirtier (inside and out) than rental cars at airport locations. The cars I’ve received also tend to be higher mileage cars.
All that said, I continue to rent from here because of location convenience. And they also have a convenient drop-​off box if you need to return the car after normal business hours.

Horrible location. Waited almost 45 minutes for my car. They don’t have cars at this location, so they ferry them from an offsite lot. None of this is mentioned on the website or at the time of the reservation.

dont get me wrong this is not about the rental car company. BUT the option they have compared to other companyz. today i moved my stuffs (couches, tables, bed stuffs, …u get the idea) to about 25 miles away location. i didnt mind driving. i did mind those moving trucks — they charge alot when u add in the milage. so i got the rental cargo van. it worked ok for me. i moved 3 back-​n-​forth trip but i got it done. with coupon i found online i was able to save 10% !!! so there it is. another moving option. when budget matter, but driving is no problem. how many ever times!!!
