The absolute best BBQ in Baltimore. The 2 must haves are the Bourbon Brisket and Bacon and the Pork Poppers!

Walked by this truck on the way back from the Hospital and the name was so intriguing I had to grab something from them. The people running the truck are fantastic. They’ll suggest you exactly what you need and are super friendly :). They also accept card as well as cash. They make the food super fast(not sure if that was just cause there was no line when I came but it literally took like 1 minute) I tried the Brisket Bourbon BBQ($ 8) — you can get a combo meal for $ 10 includes a side and drink but I didn’t bother. The Brisket Bourbon BBQ is a small sized bun with a ton of meat inside. I thought that the food was alright — just taste like your typical BBQ sauce with meat and it’s a little small for what you pay but hey that’s all food trucks for you.

Unreal how good this is! The bacon sauce is ridiculous. Get it every Sunday at the Catonsville Farmers Market from 10:00 — 1:30 at 730 Fredrick road. Goes until late November 2015.

YYEEESSSS!!! when ever this truck is in my work neighbor. I walk to them. Great Classic BBQ. Pulled Pork– Great Carne Asada Sandwhich– Super Great I haven’t ventured off of those to yet. because they are fantastically superb. They come with a side of fries, which are also seasoned really good. Not soggy undercooked. but just crispy enough. Im always happy to see this truck on Charles Street.

(11/20/2013) Checked out Jurassic Pork at the State Center Farmers Market for lunch. Menu was sparse. The guy said he used to work for Midtown BBQ and Brew, but then started this gig on his own. Got the Pulled Pork Chimichanga, $ 10, and BBQ Beans(spicy), $ 3; chimi came with a side of tortilla chips and Velveeta-like queso. Pulled pork was in large chunks, tender, moist, somewhat bland, rolled in chimi with a little sweet red sauce and a bit of salsa and queso, deep-fried golden brown. Baked beans had shreds of pork, an obvious bay leaf(a good thing), was sweet and spicy at the same time, thick, ketchup and mustard-based sauce, strong vegetal flavors(celery?) and Madras curry powder(?). Would re-confirm your order with the service, since the signage is not accurate. Overall, just OK.

Killer! Got food here after the Bike Party. I’ve noticed that events like the Baltimore Bike Party and some Bikemore events are like panic inducers for food trucks. First timers never seem to anticipate how many people are going to want food and how insanely hungry everyone’s gonna be. I once waited 40 minutes for a burger and another time had cooks practically throwing quesadillas at me. These guys kept their cool, though. When I got there, they looked like they’d been to hell and back but still had control of the situation. Honestly, this would have been enough to give them 3 or 4 stars even if the food were crap. But the food was great. Not great for a food truck — just great. I got the pulled pork and my buddy got the carne asada. Both were really nicely chewy and had great sauce. The meat was great, but I could eat the beans all day. Gimme more! It also paired really well with the beer I was inhaling. They didn’t have anything to do with that part, but I’m still gonna give them credit. Good job!

Who knew that Midtown BBQ&Brew had a food truck?! I didn’t and was pleasantly surprised. I’m already a fan of their revamped menu and was excited that they decided to take some of their food on the road. I’m familiar with their pulled pork sandwiches but, decided to get acquainted with their carne asada this go around. The meat was tender, juicy and very savory. I ordered the red sauce and it was the perfect compliment to the meat. Also on my sandwich was a pico de gallo-esque sprinkling of juicy tomato. If you ever see this sweet ride on the road, stop for something good!

I’ve noticed this food truck the last couple weeks around hopkins hospital and near inner harbor. With their lime green truck and music blasting hits such as don’t stop believin’, I had to give it a try. The menu is sparse with your choice of pulled pork, chicken, or a carne asada sandwich. Possible sides include fries, bbq beans, cole slaw, and chili. The sandwiches are priced at $ 8. I was advised to get the pulled pork sandwich w/mild bbq sauce so that’s what I did. It was a solid choice. There were huge chunks of juicy tender pork that were distinctly infused with smokiness, which really made the sandwich awesome. I’ve been to Andy Nelson’s and Black Hog, and I have to say their pulled pork isn’t quite as chunky or smoky as Jurassic Pork. However, there was a bit too much bbq sauce on my sandwich which overpowered the smoky flavor at times, upsetting the balance. Overall, though, it’s high quality stuff, check it out.
