Permanently closed: Saturday night all boarded up. Stick to the main Street in little Italy for God food.

Strolled in on a Monday for lunch. Got the house speciality. Meatball Sub. Big delicious meatballs on soft roll. Great sandwich. I am excited to come back and try other offerings. Space is new and clean. Friendly and welcoming to a new face. See ya soon fellas

Mug’s is great :) Super relaxed atmosphere, yet quick service. Good spot to just sit, eat, and chat. I’m new to the area but I felt right at home at Mug’s. Easy conversation & friendly, genuine faces is what makes me a now regular. The prices are good for the hearty meal they provide. Not a fancy, up-tight spot. I definitely recommend this place, where you wont just feel like a number. The menu and dreams of this restaurant are always expanding and its rewarding to be a loyal customer through it all.

First time at Mugs in Little Italy. It is a renovation of a building that has appeared empty for years at the corner across from St Leo’s church at Exeter and Stiles. I arrived around 1PM and there were not many customers. I ordered the Meatball Sandwich to go. It took just a couple minutes and even after walking home the sandwich was delicious. The say they make the meatballs and they were good. Four good size meatballs and cheese on a good bun, with some chips on the side. It was $ 7.95. Not a great price but a good price when the quality is noticeably better than many other small lunch counters. The space is recently remodeled and is clean and very neat. That means a lot everywhere but is especially difficult to find in many city locations. I’ll report back after another lunch and see if I feel the same, but give it a try. You’ll like it.
