Just off Hartford Rd is this little middle eastern bakery. Wonderful fresh baked pita breads are available here but parking can be a bit of a challenge. It costs a buck to park in the lot across the street. The guy who owns the place is funny and friendly. The decore is pure Baltimore funk.
If you’re looking for middle eastern spices, this is the only and best place in Baltimore. You could order a few ounces of Za’atar off the Internet for $ 6 to $ 10 or come here and get a whole pound for 8 bucks! Similarly cheap prices for couscous, sumac and other middle eastern staples.
