With all of the personalized pizza places popping up, the competition is real. I love pizza. When I went to Piaza, it fell short on the pizza rankings for me. I have tried &Pizza as well as MOD Pizza. Piaza didn’t have as many choices plus they nickel and dime you for extra toppings. I got the margarita pizza and for $ 10 I would have been just as happy for going to Little Caesars for a $ 5 cheese Hot N Ready. The employees were extremely nice. Good service. I wouldn’t go back for the pizza, however.

Pretty good — but I do have to say this is my first build-your-own-pizza joint. They have glutton free options which are great — but remember to ask for them bc they aren’t posted anywhere. I made my own version of a margherita pizza — it was tasty, but the crust wasn’t completely cooked and so the toppings kept sliding off. I ended up eating the toppings with a fork and folding up the crust and eating it alone. It all goes to the same place so I was ok with it but it could have been better!

Never again! Portion was terrible. Asked if I wanted it chopped. Tried to use the tool and failed. Had to ask for bread. Wanted a cannoli but then told them I didn’t want it because the bottom of all of the containers were filled with water. Did not offer to make a fresh one. Service was just bad. Portions are small. Too expensive to be hungry when the plate is clean. The one star was required to complete this review. Won’t be back and will pass the word that the order up delivery fee at Nalley Fresh is worth it.

So, I hate to leave a negative feedback, but I left several positive messages along with a question and they never responded. I went in yesterday to get my usually at lunch time and the staff was complete unprepared and lost. They had to scramble for pizza dough as people piled in, then I felt extremely rushed as I was ordering several things. I ordered a side salad and the lady just throws lettuce in the container and tosses it on the counter before I can tell her what I wanted on it. Come to find out she was the manager. Finally I am disappointed and what you did with the pepperoni’s replacing them with what everyone else serves, some small crappy replacement of what you had when you first open. Quit being cheap and go back to what made you different then every other pizza shop in the area.

Sent me a coupon. They use Orderup. Orderup would not honor the coupon. Two hours later still no pizza. The best pizza in Federal Hill is the Social Pub.

Inconsistent. Using the same ingredients, I have ended up with some great pizzas and some soggy pizzas. I don’t know if the problem is with the baking time, oven temperature, or what… it seems like the sad pizzas aren’t cooked long enough or hot enough or maybe both? The toppings and gluten-free crust are all tasty though!

Just ate there and it was great. Made fresh within minutes before your eyes. You choose all the fresh toppings you want(all for one low price of $ 7.99) Also gluten free crusts are available for $ 2.00 more. It was one of the best gluten free I have had and I have tasted a lot of gluten pizzas I would not hesitate to recommend this for anyone gluten free or not!

Soggy and slow. It took 30 minutes to get 1 calzone. The employees had to remake the calzone twice before they gave it to me. They didn’t seem to know how to do it or what was supposed to be in it. The tomato mozzarella said that was sitting out was totally wilted and looked inedible. I want to like this place but the quality of the food and service is poor. Employees need training and I think this could be w a lot better.

My third visit was today(Dec ’15). I came the week they opened, the free pizza grand opening, and today. Pizza was good before, but the crust improved drastically with further staff experience. I’ll be back a fourth time. I’d like to see them add buffalo mozzarella to the offerings.

Great food in a convenient(for me) location with tons of parking nearby. I’ve had the California salad only, but my boyfriend has had their pizzas and loves it. I really like the build-your-own concept, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Ingredients are fresh and I believe they make everything that they can in-house. My biggest complaint is how long it took both times I went. I wasn’t in a hurry the first time, but the second time was during the lunch rush and I just felt like things could have been run more efficiently. People seemed to be trained to only handle 1 task at a time, which was very frustrating. Next time I will place my order ahead of time if I’m in any kind of hurry.

If you like real gourmet brick oven pizza, don’t read any further and go to Piaza. Concept: Get a personal pizza(about 8″ or so) assembled in front of your(like Chipotle). Then get it cooked under 5mins. Food: Amazing! What makes this amazing is 30% toppings and 70% crust. The toppings they have selected are really good. The crust is so so so fabulous that even Darth Vader will travel to earth for crust. I don’t usually eat the crust, but I always eat all the crust at this place. I haven’t tried their Piada, so I can’t review it. Tip 1: If you like a little bit of kick/spicy, ask for their house seasoning on your pizza. Owner told me they put 10 different herbs to make it. It’s amazing. Tip 2: Ask for their house dressing on the side. Then eat your pizza and leave the crust. Eat crust with their house dressing = happy tummy and happy food coma. So wroth it. Service: Slow as of Nov 2015, but I think it’s still a very new store and employees are still getting up to speed. But, they don’t makes mistakes and burn your pizza. Food is still good and I am a patient guy, so I don’t mind. You will be hard pressed to find such an amazing pizza for under $ 10.

The concept of this place is cool. You pick a crust, sauce and make your own pizza(pick toppings) and then they bake it for you. However I think if I were craving pizza I would go elsewhere given the amount of choices that exist. I was not a huge fan of the crust I tried. It’s pretty fast to cook though so could be a fun place with a group as you don’t have to worry about what everyone wants. I do appreciate the wide variety of toppings they have, as well as a wide selection of sauces including pesto, which was good but a bit salty. They also have vegan cheese for no additional charge which is awesome! It is a pretty good deal, it’s basically a medium pizza for 9 dollars. Someone with a big appetite may finish it but I had a few leftovers. My biggest complaint is the false advertising in the amount of toppings you get. The sign says 2 meats plus whatever toppings you want. It implies unlimited vegetables. However, I asked the girl working there specifically and she told me it was a 3 topping limit and then you have to pay. I honestly think that is fine but they need to change their sign.

Loved this place! So cool that they make a personal pizza right on the spot so it’s hot and fresh. Came out within 5 minutes and the staff was so friendly! You can create your own pizza as well. Very reasonable prices

Excellent food and great execution of fast casual. I ordered the antipasto salad and a steak piada. The antipasto was extremely generous with the meats and veggies, occupying ¾ of the salad. Pepperchinis, olives and marinated mushrooms worked well with the meats(pepperoni, sopresetta, salami) and house parmesan pesto dressing. The steak piada was also on point(piada is their take on a burrito). The combination of the lean steak, Gorgonzola, mushrooms roasted red peppers and seasoned pearl pasta in a tortilla worked flawlessly. The oven gives the tortilla a nice toasty crunch, which compliments the gooey interior. Highly recommend both these. From ordering to walking out the door with food, about 5 – 8 minutes. Will most certainly be back.

This was our second time at Piaza. The first visit, the entire crust on our pizza was soggy — almost like it was sitting in oil, which made it difficult to eat because it fell apart in your hands. Since this place is fairly new, we wanted to give it another shot. Unfortunately, there was no change in the quality of crust. I’m not sure if the pizza needs to stay in the oven longer or there is too much oil in the ingredients. Aside from that, this place has potential. Great variety of toppings with vegetarian/vegan options available. The atmosphere is welcoming and its BYOB. Hoping to return in the future if their recipe is fixed.

Pretty tasty and the price was reasonable too. I just had the margherita pizza and I would eat here again. Happy to support local business especially when the product they produce is good. Update: Went back for a BYOB night… the pizza here is definitely better than what I’ve had anywhere else in Baltimore. If you’re wondering where to go for pizza, this is an easy choice to make.

I went to Piaza for the first time and all I have to say if Yum!!! The pizza is so good. I has sausage and pepperoni and I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and top quality. The price is very reasonable. I love the crust it is so light and mine was crisp and hot! I recommend it highly and will be back hopefully weekly!

This new place is FANtastic. My son had the Grilled Chicken Pesto Piada, and didn’t really know what to expect. Boy was he *Happy* he did. He said«if he wasn’t so full, he would have ordered another, to go…» The service was faster-than-fast, and the dining room was spotless, and had a very hip feel to it. I just wish they had a location closer to Catonsville, Maryland. Prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients, is just well, rare. You can taste FRESH, and everything we tasted, was outstanding!
