Clothes not delivered on time. I was made to come back 3 days in a row just to have my clothes be altered incorrectly on the 4^th day. I had specific requests which the tailor never wrote down. Nearly 300 dollars in clothes ruined. Will not be returning.

Ricardo is the man. Went in to have him measure me for a dress shirt and open up a chest pocket in a blazer (to put tie squares in). He had me in and out in less than five minutes and refused to let me pay him. Will be going back for future alterations and tailoring for sure.

I really want to like this place. I really do. However, I didn’t have the greatest experience… I dropped off a floor length gown that I needed to get hemmed. They told me that it would be read in 5 days. I showed up on the day, and they told me that it wasn’t ready because they forgot… Thought that they had told me the following day. I came back the next day and it seemed like they were just starting to work on it. The dress is made of chiffon, so it’s a bit tricky to hem and they used the wrong stitching on the bottom and realized that it wouldn’t stay, so they had to re-​do the hemming. Needless to say, it wasn’t ready when I arrived. Third time’s the charm: it was finally ready the third time I came back. However, I noticed afterwards that the hemming was a bit crooked. Some parts of the dress were hemmed higher than others. It doesn’t particularly matter since it’s floor length. I also wanted it hemmed such that it wouldn’t be touching the ground. I even brought heels to try it on, and yet, when I tried on the dress, it slightly dragged on the ground. I guess that’s fine because it hid the fact that the dress was hemmed crooked…

I am soooo happy I came to Ricardo after much searching of the Baltimore area. I am so pleased with the alterations he made for a gown which was a little too big for me. He also altered a suit jacket and pants which came out beautifully. I would definitely suggest anyone who is in the baltimore area to come here! Prices are so reasonable and Ricardo is great to work with!

Ricardo tailored jackets, pants and shirts for me, charging prices compared with other tailors. His clearly takes pride in his work and it shows in the quality. If you’re looking for an excellent tailor, it’s definitely worth the short trip near Patterson Park to go to Ricardo’s. Ricardo also owns a grocery store on 3027 E. Baltimore, so make sure you stop at the right shop!

Ricardo is a master Taylor. His work on two of my sport coats was beautiful and flawless. The shop is a tiny hole in the wall western union store. But, he is very good. Alterations for both jackets combined were well below all others in price and well above all others in quality!!! Very happy :)
