I ordered online to save time. When i finally found a way into the building which is locked at every entrance, the business was shut down. Not sure if they were remodeling or what. Either way, they took my order online and had to wait two weeks to be reimbursed.

Soo delicious. I got the key west Cuban sandwich, loved it. Not too expensive. They’re a little slow but it’s worth it. Definitely choose this over the Quiznos across the street. Great environment for a quick bite to eat. Close to the harbor.

Wraps are not really that exciting of a food option, but then where I work in Baltimore, the options are not that great within a five-minute walk. Roly Poly, however, is an anomaly, and especially this location. The service is quick and friendly, and the wraps are prepared well and are flavorful, and it’s a nice location in what probably was a bank lobby. It’s never too crowded, so you can enjoy a nice lunch without feeling rushed or anxious. I normally order the hot pressed wraps, and they often come with a dipping sauce. I strongly recommend the Key West Cuban, or the Santa Fe Chicken. Their Philly wrap is pretty decent, too!

Wraps were the craze for a while, and now the new and improved TOASTED wraps, yum! The place is downtown near many office buildings, the courthouses(good place for the Jury Duty lunch break), police station, a metro stop, Mercy, CCBC; so can be busy with long waits(takes some time to get that good crusty golden sear on your wrap). You can call ahead for pick up, but then you might miss the good window of warm and toasty and go straight to cold and soggy. You can order Cold Rolled or Hot Pressed(but you’re at the Roly Poly, no point in a cold sandwich). Have tried the #23 Key West Cuban(great try, ditch the honey mustard and go for the traditional yellow); #37 Cordon Bleu(the basil mayo is great if you get it on a fresh day); #18 Philly Melt is a neater way to eat a cheesesteak, as is the #36 Chicken Fajita. Combos are pretty tasty with a mix of flavors, but you can«roll your own», too.

Their monster veggie sandwich on a wheat bread is legit. Having an LCDTV showing CNN during lunch hour is a plus. Definitely pricer than Subway. But, tastes better

Came in for lunch and loved it. Simply good food at good prices. I had a tuna salad wrap and was impressed that it was rolled tight, didn’t fall apart, and was soggy. That’s a great wrap! Go here now.

I did lunch here while doing my civic duty at the courthouse this week. It’s a comfy enough place with fast free wi-fi. i did the Key west Cuban and a bowl of Broccoli & Cheddar. The Cuban was smoked turkey breast black forest ham swiss tomatoes shroons with a side of honey mustard. They heated it on the grill till the cheese melted, it was fresh and tasty but light on the meat, very light. The soup was warm and cheesy with plenty of small florets of broccoli. Could have used some salt. Roly Poly gets the job done.

Roly Poly is a restaurant name that would never pass muster with many focus groups. Ideally the sign out front should give the potential customer some idea of what will come across the counter when they order. Roly Poly? A Diet Center? An Armadillo Museum? The Jackie Gleason Theatre? None of the above. It is a chain of restaurants specializing in made-to-order semi-fast food. Perfect name or not, they are 125 strong with a presence in twenty-four states and doing very well thank you. It’s a pity that the rise and fall of chains so often depends on the strength of their marketing efforts rather than on the product itself. Don’t know about their advertising budget, but given the food, value and fidelity to its stated goal of bringing fresh wholesome food to all of us, Roly Poly could be a contender.
Roly Poly doesn’t skimp on furnishing service and services. They deliver, you can fax your order, phone it in or order online. They’ve taken their commitment to eclecticism very seriously in their menu. A virtual culinary United Nations of selections is a nightmare for the indecisive but worth the effort, Adrian Monk beware. French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Hawaiian, Cuban, Vegetarian, Greek, Thai, Southwest, BBQ and more are represented with equal facility and more than a little poetic license, but the results never fail to satisfy. The wraps are all excellent. Roly Poly makes more than a cursory attempt to provide its customers with bona fide healthful choices. Fat free dressings, whole wheat tortillas, reduced fat cheeses, apple butter, raisins, sunflower seeds, cashews, dried cranberries, baby spinach and avocados are among a long list of ingredients that will put a smile on the face of the strictest nutritionist. One oddity is the coffee, though of good quality and well brewed, it is set out on the self serve coffee counter in thermos pots with no milk or cream only powdered creamers. I can’t believe that this anomaly came on orders from franchise HQ and in the age of can-you-one-up-Starbucks cafes is very odd indeed. Odd coffee service or not, Roly Poly offers a comprehensive menu offering terrific fresh food for breakfast and especially for lunch at very reasonable prices.

Well, the chain atmosphere is pervasive, but, I gotta say, the wrap I had was good. Also, the frozen yogurt was good. A little on the tart side, though, and I do like my fro-yo tart, so it was extra-tarty. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable, esp. for the downtown location. Beats the restaurant next door by a longshot… sadly.

The food is your typical Roly Poly, good & fresh wraps & salads. Good selection of «Naked» juices available. I haven’t tried their soups, but they seem to be fresh, with different selections daily. It’s right downtown in the business district, so they keep bankers’ hours– Mon-Fri, they close early(not a place for dinner) and closed on holidays. Gets busy, so I would highly suggest calling your order in, whenever possible because the line can be pretty long during lunch hours. They are very friendly & good about taking phone orders, and you can move through the line pretty quickly(they have a separate pickup line).
