Stopped here over the weekend with friends. Not bad, aside from the drive-bar ambiance(exposed wall studs, not a lot of room to move around). I did notice a decent selection of hard alcohol behind the bar. Place was overall OK for hanging out until the bartender suddenly blasted the music around 8pm. Didn’t seem to be any reason for it. Most people were watching the games on TV or talking. All of a sudden you couldn’t hear yourself think. About half an hour later she shut the music off. Thankfully, otherwise we were all going to leave.

What a nice little neighborhood bar. You won’t see this place if you’re not looking for it. Located on Baylis St between Fait and Foster in Highlandtown this little gem is a nice little family corner bar. I was walking home the other day and as I looked up Baylis St. from Fait I noticed the green awning and decided to explore a bit. Walked in, had a beer, talked to the bar maid and her husband and just escaped the city for a few minutes. This is a small space but if you’re not looking for much other than a drink and a local(local meaning a 2 block radius from your house) feel then this is a nice little spot. Definitely not a destination bar but it’s been around for years. The picture on this profile is not exact because there is now a big picture window in front where the brick used to be. I would certainly come back here again for a drink.
