This place has a nice atmosphere and the bartenders are attentive. Came here for happy hour. Sangria: good, but not the best I have had. The crab dip: absolutely hit the spot. The scallop poorboy: I would not recommend it! The scallops were fresh and tasted great. Only problem is they SERIOUSLY skimped on the portion. I’m talking 4 scallops on a sub.

This place is amazing !! I usually go there every other week either to just have a drink, to dance or to get food !! The food is not pricy at all for what it is! It’s definitely the best pub on the square! I always had a great time over there and they’re super friendly. Even during busy nights you don’t have to wait too long have a glass in your hand! You can also play pool! The happy hours deals are a sick deal as well ! I definitely recommend it !!

I come here mainly on Fridays because I need some serious entertainment. This place has so many great moments of people-watching. It’s the perfect way to start off my weekend! Also, it’s a great spot for some late night drunk dancing and then drunk munching on some crab pretzels or Indian in the square.

One of the better burgers in Baltimore. Really good cream of crab soup. My criticism is that they recently changed the fries from hearty to thin. They’re ok, but not as good as the thicker ones.

I love their old bay wings. They’re to die for. Seriously. Best. Wings. Ever. Great bar.

Went on a Friday Night. It was busy but because there’s so much space, It wasn’t too packed. The bartender was fast and I like that there’s a DJ playing. The crowd seemed a bit fratty at times though. The«dance floor» felt very shaky. I kept thinking it would collapse lol

The staff was A-Plus friendly and the service was great. The Shrimp Fra diavolo was excellent. The other dinners were very good as well. It was a mid week early dinner hour and it was quite when we were there. I’d try it again.

Awesome place in an awesome neighborhood … Came here on a Friday afternoon for happy hour. Got the 30 wings and pitcher special. For $ 17 who compass that up? I was also drinking their crushes which are $ 6 for happy hour… Squeezed right in front of you like they should be! We were able to get a 10÷10÷10 split on the wings so we got buffalo, old bay and Cajun … Extra crispy of course! They were done perfectly. Wings were a bit on the smaller side but that’s everywhere outside of buffalo … And the Cajun was not as spicy as I’d have liked but the buffalo sauce was killer! We may have found our new Baltimore wing spot! 30 wings, a pitcher of bud light and two crushes(one being a double) it came up to roughly $ 38. Now that shit I can get behind … And the bartender was awesome!!! We will be back!

DOLLARBEERS!!! I should just end it there. If you are looking to get rowdy all night in Canton this place is a must. Thursdays is dollar bud lights so expect this party house to be packed to the gills. There is something for every one(as long as you’re looking for a good time) two levels means, dancing, 3 bars, dinning areas, a pool table, a lounge, even an out door patio. The service from the bar is great and Dereck always takes care of us. The specials are great you really can’t beat the Ravens game beer tower and wing special. This is easily one of my favorite places to throw em back in canton and I will certainly continue to frequent.

Went in here one time for dinner and the hkst seated us in the furthest corner of the place. We were then ignored by the waitress three times before we got up and left. Everyone had a bad attitude and the place smelled weird. I get the appeal if you’re just looking for a place to drink your sorrows away and don’t care how rude everyone is. If that’s not your deal I’d look elsewhere.

This Unilocal review is purely based off of the horrible service that we had yesterday after our final BSSC football game. Claddaghs is one of the sponsor bars of BSSC, and I’m sure they make a lot of money being one of those bars(prob have to deal with some assholes too, but we’re not one)…that being said, you think that they would be nice to the BSSC players. When we walked in, we asked the bartender downstairs how it was going? His responses was«Terrible, every time I see those BSSC shirts, my day gets worse» So we moved upstairs thinking that we would have some friendlier service. It only got worse. In case you don’t know, when you finish the football season, you get a $ 50 bar tab to one of the sponsor bars. We tried to order a beer tube and wings for their price of $ 50, but he told us that we couldn’t use the voucher on that. Fine. We ordered 2 pitchers of Miller Light at $ 6 a piece(the Sunday BSSC price), but the bartender told us that today they weren’t issuing the $ 6 pitchers, they were only doing full price. News to us, but OK fine, moving on. He gives us the 2 pitchers, and 2 glasses. How are we supposed to split the pitchers with 2 glasses? First sip: the Miller light was BAD! I’m talking sour, and gross(and I enjoy a GOOD sour beer). We all tried it and thought it was undrinkable. Went up to the bar to ask for a different beer. He told us that«Claddaghs sells the most draught beer in all of Baltimore City» and there was no way it was bad. He said he was going to keep our $ 50 voucher and give us 1 pitcher of Bud Light. I’m not sure how that make sense. In the end, after a taste test of the bartender(yes, he sat there and tasted our beer to prove his point), we were able to get 4 pitchers for our voucher of $ 50, but I’m not sure why there had to be all this nonsense in between.

Came in here for an early dinner at about 5:30 on mother’s day after we decided not to deal with the wait at Mother’s and Canton dockside told us that the wait was 90 minutes AND they had no crabs. I wasn’t really expecting too much but picked Claddagh because it was relatively crowded(without being packed). We ordered friend oysters which were ok, but a little greasy and crab cake platters. The fried oysters were $ 10 for 5 oysters and I would probably skip them next time. The crab cakes were actually quite good, firm lump crab without much filler. They were a bit spendy at $ 29.00 for two crab cakes, mashed potatoes and greenbeans. The greenbeans were actually fresh though and the potatoes were well done too. The beer menu was long without being very exciting, but prices were not bad. The waiter/host was friendly without being particularly attentive. A totally solid meal, though at $ 120 after tip it was was a pretty expensive one.

Claddagh is literally the worst place in Baltimore. My girlfriend worked there before I met her and was treated like dirt by management and owners. Went there earlier this year on a busy Friday night, they lost my debit card I gave them to start a tab. Told me to call the next day to see if they found it. Bartender was too busy to look for it the next day I called, said call back in an hour. I do so. He says the debit cards are locked up in the safe and only the owners can access the safe, and that the owners are on vacation for a week. I have no way to access money over the weekend without my card. Finally visit them after a week and still no owners and they tell me it’s probably gone without even looking in the safe. Two days later someone tries, twice, to buy a $ 1300 piece of merchandise online with the card information. This place is absolutely the worst.

I recently went to Baltimore to visit one of my friends, and she recommended this corner pub near their place. We probably got in around 8:30 and only had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated. The pub had a very welcoming feel that can be hard to find in the more modern bars in DC. The servers were very friendly and I got their«Best Burger,» which was plenty of food for less than ten dollars, and some Blue Moon. I thought this was a great place to stop by for dinner and drinks for a very reasonable price.

This is a fun spot in the Canton square whether it’s night or day! I’ve been here for lunch on a Sunday as well as late on a Friday or Saturday evening. The place always seems packed with a good crowd and with the multiple levels, you don’t ever feel confined or squished. The food was nothing that really stood out to me, but I recall it being decent for your typical«pub grub». I would definitely emphasize more on the drink specials and music as it it’s definitely a fun place to socialize with friends.

Decent food but great happy hour specials. You can get a dozen wings and a tower of beer for about $ 20. They have deals like this everyday for happy hour. This is definitely a destination for going out on a Saturday night. Crowded lively bar scene for the 20-something’s

This is the good stuff. Quality food, excellent service, good beer selection. Would be five stars but the beers are a touch pricey(it’s Canton, it’s the square, it’s to be expected) Huge, tasty(and properly prepared) buffalo wings. Great burgers. An amazing $ 10 steak sandwich that is basically a nice cut of steak with a roll(and onions, get the onions). Servers are always attentive and management is ever-present(in a good way). Great alternative to long waits for nearby establishments that trade on reputation and Hon-tastic marketing. Highly recommended.

Came in for Breakfast. I’ve been here before at the bar but never for breakfast. Considering the local alternatives I was pleasantly surprised. A few tips: Credit card minimum charge is $ 20. There is an ATM here and there are two in the square as well. They always have a soccer game on if your a fan. Brunch drinks were good and food was hot. Surprised at the quality of the food considering it’s a sports bar.

Four of us just went in for a drink, so this review is exclusively for the beer and the service. Waiter was very friendly and went through the drink selection slowly and thoroughly, discussing the finer points of each beverage, hoppiness, flavor, etc. He checked on us constantly, made sure we were always refreshed, and was prompt with the check and anything else we needed. Do not know about food. Check other reviews for that.

Oh Claddagh, my Claddagh, how thou art a mixed bag of yay and nay! While I LOVE your awesome gametime deals(think 30 wings AND a pitcher of domestic for $ 18!!!) and dollar beer nights(Thursdays FTW), your barside service and primetime culinary delivery can occasionally leave something to be desired. The trick to a positive visit? Know what you’re dealing with, and be realistic. Don’t show up for dinner on a weekend evening and expect to have your socks knocked off — this place is a Canton staple, and it keeps the crew busy. Here are the hours and my relative recommendations: — Thursday nights: come for $ 1 beers and dancing — Weekend brunch/lunch: go ahead and get your grub at this hour, prepare to not be in and out though — Gamedays: hit up the wings-n-beer deals like it’s your job; talk about bang for your buck!!!(and these wings are MOST bangin’) Mainly, don’t come here expecting a nice family friendly environment(it’s a pub, people), an exotic culinary destination(see comment 1), or a romantic venue for date night(again…). This is a fun, raucous Irish bar with decent pub-style grub and friendly enough staff. Plan accordingly.
