LOVE this place. I just turned 21 recently and both times I’ve been here were fabulous. I went once for happy hour and had a delicious dreamsicle crush(seriously so good) and another time I went during trivia night(quite by accident) and had an awesome time with great recommendations from the bartenders. I love it in the summer for the outdoor area and inside makes me feel like I’m in an English pub.(I’ve never been to England so I could be way off, but that’s how I feel).

For pubs in general, it’s three stars. For Reskins/Hokies bars, it gets five. Lots of TVs and high tops, great beer selection, extremely average food, even by pub standards(the sliders aren’t bad), but enough to get you through a three-hour football game. The crowds are almost universally wearing burgundy, so if you’re a displaced DC or Blacksburg fan stuck in Baltimore, this is the place. And it might be deliberate, or it might be by accident(yeah, right), but the waitresses are all pretty much supermodels — friendly supermodels, at that. I still haven’t figured that part out yet, but who cares? Bottom-line: The place is a very fun sports bar.

Great bar with a great staff. Very friendly. Good drinks and food. Lots of tvs. Nice atmosphere. Good mix of locals and not locals. My favorite bar in Federal Hill and Locust Point area.

Sly fox adds to a number of surprisingly fun and eclectic bar options along Fort. I have been there twice for Trivia on Wednesday at 9 which has been a good time. The general manager is a really nice guy and is the MC for Trivia. He does a really good job. One of my pet peves about trivia is when the guy who is reading the questions has the mic blasting and loves to hear himself talk so you can’t actually hear anyone else for the whole hour or so of trivia. This guy is not like that. The beer is a quality selection of differnt types of drafts. There is a much larger and even more quality selection of bottles. The fries are deliciously seasoned. I had a medium rare burger which I have to say was just ok. It was a bit over done for the medium rare temp I ordered it but wasn’t bad. Also they have nightly drink and food specials which are pretty good deals(like 3.50 blue moons on weds). Overall good beer and food selection and prices, nice atmosphere and quality staff.

Since I am a DIEHARD Washington Redskins fan living in Baltimore, I have been going to this place for the past 3 years. The food is very good with lots of menu choices, drink specials, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Tonight during the Redskins win, I had the Steak Salad. It was soooo good, I had to get my wife(DIEHARD Baltimore Ravens Fan) one to go. She loved it, and will now come with me to watch games.(They Show Ravens Games too).

If you are a Redskins fan and happen to live in Baltimore like myself, this is where you want to go on Sundays during football season. There is the occasional dummy in purple but the place is usually two floors packed in with nothing but Skins fans. The food is pretty much regular, run of the mill bar food but it is definitely because of the atmosphere why you come here. Disclaimer: it is because Slyfox is the only Redskins bar I know of in Baltimore, it received 5 stars. If it were not because of this major detail I would have to rate the place maybe 2 ½ to 3 stars.

This place on Fort Avenue has a nice menu with lots of different choices of burgers, sandwiches, and other dishes. I liked that fries came with the meal, since around here it seems like you have to pay extra for them. My husband got the smoke burger(smoked gouda cheese and mushrooms) and I got the Chesapeake burger(burger topped with crab and swiss). My burger was quite good in terms of how it was cooked– and the crab was good too. But it definitely could have used some kind of sauce– maybe a mayo-based Old Bay topping? It seemed a little dry but it was a little strange with mustard and ketchup. My husband felt the same about his burger– fine, but nothing to write home about. The fries were pretty good, though.

In terms of bar food, this place actually has some really good food. I’ve had the ahi tuna salad and the greek turkey burger, both were plates that I’d order again. The upstairs has some fun bar games.

Had a few drinks… they were decent enough. Their special when I went was a fresh orange crush($ 5), which was an orange squeezed and mixed w/vodka and triple sec. OK, but not all that strong. Maybe that was the point. Crab dip was OK I guess… not really enough pita chips($ 10). Apparently they say they are«the Baltimore area’s premier Washington Redskins and Virginia Tech Hokies bar» Place is bordering on a little divey but they were friendly.
