Great place! Oils and lotions and soaps. It’s a dream. You have to check it out! Theresa, the stores owner, is very experienced.

SoBotanical is the best aromatherapy bar I’ve ever visited. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about essential oils and can quickly create a personalized blend just for you. One of my favorite purchases is the car and house spray. Just a little bit leaves a fragrant fresh scent for hours. The bath bombs, soaps and lotions are all made in house so you know they are all natural, unlike the products from big box stores. Note that they will open by appointment if you need to make a purchase or have a consultation outside of their scheduled hours.

Just took a deep relaxing breath of lavender, and thought I should offer a review about Sobotanical where I got it. I have been going there for about ten years now and can definitely say the products are top-notch. It’s cool to know that every ingredient they use is natural. I especially like the Thieves Oil and Head Ease blends they offer. One helps keep me healthy, and the other offers relief when I over-indulge! Definitely check it out next time you are in Federal Hill. Parking isn’t always easy though, so personally, I now get most of my products from them online. They get to me pretty quickly, and as I said, they use top quality natural ingredients so I know what they ship me will be consistently good.

This shop is THE place to go for proper essential oils and custom perfumes. The owner Theresa is beyond amazing. She really knows her stuff and you will leave her shop feeling and smelling great. Go onto Facebook and like the company’s page to stay in touch on when she is open, she doesn’t keep regular hours. It’s worth the trip to come and see her whenever you get a chance. THEBEST essential oil source in Baltimore, hands down!

I went in to SoBotanical with angry inflamed skin. Trips to a dermatologist resulted in a shoulder shrug and a prescription for a steroid cream… to put on my face! Walking into SoBotanical is like stepping into another world. With a wall full of bottles, beakers and flasks, Theresa(owner, aromatherapist, holistic healer, magical alchemist) concocted a face wash and moisturizer with my specific troubles in mind. She handed over generous samples and told me to try them to see if my sensitive skin tolerated them. As soon as I tried the oil I felt my skin sigh with relief. After a few weeks my skin was calm and clear. Custom blended skin products — you really can’t ask for more. I highly recommend SoBotanical to anyone: men, women, those tired of harsh chemicals, and especially those with sensitive, troubled skin!

Good news. Sobotanical is still around… they have a shop in Fed Hill near Mothers and Kim’s Day Spa. They are only open intermittently, and mostly just prior to gift-giving holidays. Dates and times are announced on their facebook page. It takes a bit of planning, but its worth it.

Bad news… SoBotanical closed its shop and relocated to a warehouse in Baltimore. They will be open one weekend a month for walk in purchasing. They haven’t updated their website with that information as of yet, so stay tuned.
