This place needs to fire and hire a whole new set of employees. They are rude and have such negative attitudes. They are doing you a favor by getting you the coffee you paid for. They are loud and obnoxious. Please please get better employees. From reading some of the other posts this is not the first time you’ve heard this complaint.

This is a great place to study on off time because of the comfy seats and setup. It has a DC vibe, but I was surprised that they had to manually enter in my app info. I imagine a lot of travelers hang out here while waiting for an über since it’s attached to an embassy suites.

This is a Starbucks inside the Embassy Suites hotel, so you need to consider that they are mobbed by travelers. Yet the staff was still very friendly and I enjoyed my visits there.

Worst SBUX in Baltimore. Consistently understaffed, surly and overworked baristas, and they always run out of things, like cups. Yes, cups. One time they ran out of dark roast and I had to wait while they brewed more. Today they didn’t have iced coffee ready and had to make more. What kind of coffee shop has no iced coffee at 9 am in July? Corporate needs to come down hard on this place. If it weren’t so close to my work, I’d never come here.

Short– lousy service, ample seating I’m giving this Starbucks only two stars because of the larger space and comfy seating, plenty of outlets. I have been here several times now, and three of the women workers were unfriendly, inattentive, and borderline rude and talking loudly to each other. One time I ordered a tea and was charged for a tea latte. When I brought it up, the guy making the drinks looked at me and said it was the same price. He must have not been working there long, because lattes are almost double the price of plain tea. After mumbling and punching around on the order screen, the cashier, instead of properly voiding the transaction and reimbursing my card, just pulled out cash from the top box and handed it to me from the directions of the guy making the drinks. No apology from either of them, extremely unprofessional. A minute later the man making drink’s phone rang loudly and he picked it up to talk to what sounded like a friend, while making drinks… what? It seems every time I’ve been in here they are out of some major ingredients– see print out lists by the counter. I can understand this because they are a smaller location attached to a hotel, but they have been here at this location long enough to figure out what they should keep more stock of. Ask for the wifi password. It can get pretty loud on the weekend. There are definitely better service options as far as the many other Starbucks in the area

The are seriously out of everything… cups even. You are a business making drinks. Owner needs to get it together.

Female staff are really friendly and cooperative whatever customers ask them to make from secret menu they listen and make it. Today I told Paul to make chocolate macchiato from secret menu but he simply refused if anything was missing he should have told, he didn’t bother to look. He is a very rude and arrogant person for this reason I’m giving four stars

Well, I just found one of the most pleasant Starbucks I’ve ever had the honor of visiting! I didn’t even know it was there, tucked in to the corner of the embassy suites(street access and hotel access). I went in around 10:30 and found it almost totally empty, with tons of seating, including large leather armchairs and leather booth-style seating. The décor is very unusual for a Starbucks and I think it might have to do with the hotel. It was so pleasant that I stayed for an hour, during which time various professionals and folks on breaks stopped in for coffee. Not a student to be found, which is a breath of fresh air in this neighborhood. They don’t have a full menu posted, only the seasonal drinks when I was there, but they will make anything from the usual Starbucks lineup. I docked them one star because I don’t think they have wifi, which is a major retraction to some(and also might explain the lack of students). The I it wifi coming up was a locked Starbucks one, and the hotel wifi which needs a room number. Also, they don’t have a scanner for the iphone app, so they have to manually enter your payment info. If you want to have a casual business meeting, a place for a group to meet, or just a nice place to read, this Starbucks is great!

I have came here twice. Compared to other Starbucks locations in the area, the service is not as friendly and I feel like I am annoying the staff when I order my tall chai tea. I always come in the morning so perhaps the later staff will be nicer. I will definitely give it a chance. I usually stick to my Starbucks on president street where they know how to treat their customers. However, I am not ruling this location out because the decoration and the huge seating area are awesome! There’s couches and tables and booths galore. So, if u and a few friends are looking for a Starbucks to sit and stay awhile, I would recommend this location. Just cross your fingers that you get friendly service

This Starbucks location is brand new and is right across from Mercy Hospital. The pictures inside the location are from an early 20th century Mt. Vernon. Very cool! I ordered a Vanilla latte and got it without any flavoring. Hopefully, this is just a beginner mistake.
