Man this place made awesome sandwiches, I don’t know what went south but they are no longer open.

I’m not sure why they would advertise delivery, and tell me they aren’t doing deliveries right now… waste if time. Poor service. It wasn’t like it was raining, snowing, icy, or close to close of business…

Sadly, The Corned Beef Factory is no more. Let’s all raise a sandwich to one of Baltimore’s fallen heros…

This place has awesome sandwiches. I recommend the lean corned beef on rye. They also sell fresh cold cuts if you prefer to make you own at home. This is definitely a carry out type of place for me. If your nearby, it is worth a visit.

I stopped in here for my third or fourth visit a few weeks ago in search of some fresh deli meats for dinner. The Corned Beef Factory did deliver, eventually. I ordered the roast beef, a pound of it. It was my first time doing the roast beef as I love the hot beef brisket and the pastrami. Getting it home I tried a piece and found it dry and lacking flavor. I called back and explained the situation and they said I would get credit for it. It just so happened I was going that way after the call and stopped by for some hot beef brisket. It was AMAZING. Tender juicy and deeelish. It’s not about things going wrong or getting an inferior product that sinks a bussiness, it’s how they make it right. And that’s why The Corned Beef Factory will keep my business. Nice job Guys.

The bar is pretty high if you are going to call yourself The Corned Beef Factory. Well, they can’t even see the bar. This place was dirty, smelly, and had a surly staff. They couldn’t even toast the bread right. To their credit, you got a lot of meat on the sandwich. But it wasn’t worth it.

Ordered a Reuben and a chef salad for take out Saddest chef salad ive ever seen: some lettuce with onion and tomato. Maybe they messed up our order but it was super small for the price. The Reuben was like something you get from a hospital cafeteria. Bread wasn’t grilled(reubens usually are) and the sandwich was pretty dry. Although Attman’s isn’t the best, it is definitely better.

What a huge disappointment. Greek salad was nothing but lettuce and onions and a drop of feta cheese. Sandwiches were small and the meats were flavorless. Will never go here again.

Hands down the best reuben I have had in ages. The corned beef was so succulent, it seriously almost melted in my mouth. And let me tell you — the folks here KNOW they have a good product as well. We hadn’t even ordered yet when the cook came from behind the counter to our table with samples of the corned beef on a little plate. It was almost like, «Try this… I dare you not to love it and buy a whole sandwich.» Well, he won because I devoured mine. Of course, there’s more on the menu than just corned beef, so if you have a kid with a perchant for grilled cheese or you are just in the mood for pastrami instead, there are some go-to options for you. Same with salads, etc. It’s all affordably priced and comes out mad fast — PERFECT place for lunch. Will absolutely be back. You can’t stop me!

When I lived in Baltimore and worked at The Home Depot on Eastern & Kane, I would stop in and have a Kosher Dog. I couldn’t eat them all the time because they were just TOO damned good — lol. I’d’ve been as big as a freakin’ house — lol. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice and cozy and great for a lunch time break. On top of that it’s right across the street from the library. Let me just say it again… the Kosher Dog is to die for! If you’re in Baltimore for any length of time, make this one of your stops. You WILL not regret it.

Delicious stacked sandwiches. I enjoy eating here as much as I can. The ambience isn’t that great, but I could care less. I’m here to eat!

i’ve always been curious as to what a sandwich made from a latex halloween mask would be like. thanks to this joint and their«pastrami on rye»; i finally know… pair that gift of knowledge with the supernaturally complacent girl at the counter taking the order(hi heather!), add the inequitable price: quality ratio and you have pure dining magic.

I had the Factory Special ~$ 9(corned beef + roast beef), fries ~$ 3, and a pickle $ 1. All of these were average. The people behind the counter were friendly enough and the sandwich was prepared quickly, it’s just I could get that quality of sandwich and fries at any typical diner. If I’m nearby, I might stop in again, but it’s not something I’m going out of my way for.

Ordered pastrami, corned beef, a reuben, a hotdog and fresh cut fries for take out. They were out of knishes and coddies on Sat. nite at 6pm ;(The staff was quick(slicing and weighing meat for each sandwich), my order was ready in 15 min. Reuben was a bit soggy(could be the take-out effect) not very grilled or toasted as I am used to, the fries could have used more salt, but the corned beef was excellent: tender, moist and tasty. The hotdog got rave reviews from my teen son. Canton is a bit of a hike from the ‘burbs, but if you want good corned beef, this is the place to go!

Went here with my wife the other day… incredible corned beef! Literally melts in your mouth. Yes a little pricey, but worth it! Why go to Lombard street for something in the neighborhood that you don’t have to wait in line with Baltimore’s finest. ;-) Good job guys, We will be back!

This is a great deli in Highlandtown. I took my parents here for lunch this past Saturday they had the corned beef and pastrami sandwich while I tried a combo of corned beef, pastrami, cole slaw and Russian dressing. All our sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. I will be making the Corned Beef Factory a regular stop when deciding what to eat.

Finally, a great deli style sandwich shop. Went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the corned beef was very good. It’s a sandwich, so I don’t really have a whole lot more to add. One downside, we got our food to go and the hand-cut fries got soggy by the time we got home. Suggestion would be to not serve them in a fully sealed Styrofoam container.

I was walking down to the library when I ran into this place. I actually saw an online review here which is the reason why the namesake caught my eye as I was walking by! I’m always on the scout for secret or lesser known places to take my friends or dates to. The CBF is in Highlandtown; the surrounding area isn’t exactly the worst nor the greatest. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and felt reasonably safe going in and out. Inside is an attractive sandwich store setup with chalkboards scribbled with the menu over the grille and some windowed displays with their culinary wares. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean. I ordered two different sandwiches, the«Highlandtown’s Own» and the«Guido», so I could write a review for the place. The Highlandtown is corned beef, roast beef, pastrami, russian dressing on three pieces of rye bread. The Guido is like an Italian Cold Cut Sub – proscuittini, capicola, italian salami, provolone, LTM, oil/vinegar on a sub roll. What I have to say about the food is Yummy. The Highlandtown gets a strong vote of approval and the Guido is a decent sub. The rye bread was soft and fresh and the meats were very tender and tasty. The sub roll was a little tougher than I liked but at least it wasn’t dry. The portions were ample but not overstuffed. The reason why I didn’t give this place a five-star rating is the price/performance ratio. The two sandwiches cost me $ 19 and I finished both of them by late evening snack. I know places where the same money would buy me sandwiches that would last me about 3 – 4 sittings. I highly recommend anyone who likes beef sandwiches and in the vicinity to visit this place and enjoy a sandwich.

They make a good pastrami sandwich. Pretty large menu of diverse sandwiches. Free delivery, also sell sandwich trays for parties.
