An antique store that rises above the waves of brickabrack and upscale-dining that have recently washed the shores of Hampden. Although I’m not much of an eye for such things, even I was taken aback by the quality of the jewelry and the bredth of variety this small store offered. The mood was jovial and the champagne was flowing — a welcome change from the stodgy antique stores my grandmother dragged me through as a child.

Well aren’t you the cutest little store to hit Hampden! And an adorable name to boot? J’adore! The Parisian Flea is a tiny, wisp of a place but has more unique finds that a store 10 times its size, including and assortment of crystal nicknacks, antique necklaces, and baubles that will boggle the senses. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner while I was there, whose passion for his business was infectious. I love when a great store has a great backing behind it. Makes me want to spend my money there even more. I am a super planner and usually get started with my Christmas shopping in fall. The Parisian Flea will definitely be on my list!

Hold me back, I’m in love! Not only was the entire display of this amazing place and on point,(they have long vines spread across the ceiling with white flowers all around the store with crystals dangling to reflect across the store), but the jewels that they have on display are 100% wonderful(& the prices are accurately priced and not over priced). Looking for that perfect 1950’s necklace and earrings set? They have it there and it will absolutely be a conversation starter at the event you wear it to. Don’t skip out on the back room either, as they have some dishes and other items for sale that could be the perfect thing you’ve been missing in your home. You’re for sure not going to walk out of this store empty handed. I am a HUGE fan of this place, and now know exactly where I will buying my staple jewelry pieces! :-)
