Went here for brunch as there was no wait. Wait staff was very friendly and nice. Beer comes in plastic pint glasses so it just tastes weird. Eggs Benedict came out cold. Coffee was cold too. The management apologized and brought us another dish. Unfortunately the toast was cold on this round.(This was in June so it’s not like they were battling the cold air).

A friend and I are visiting Baltimore for the weekend. We stopped into this little gem on recommendation from a nearby hotel clerk. So glad we did! The lady working was very friendly and attentive and the food was incredible. I had the brisket sandwich and fries. The meat was tender and practically fell apart with each bite. It was flavorful and exactly what I was hoping it would be. My friend has a caprese chicken sandwich and she said she loved hers too! We were really pleased with our experience and I would highly recommend anyone in the area stop in.

Food came out fast but ridiculously priced and our bill did not reflect same price as marked on the menu. My fiancée ordered a gin and tonic and it was undrinkably strong. Forgot the tonic?

First off I would give them 5 star but their ketchup sucks because they won’t use Heinz ketchup cause it’s from Pittsburgh and we all know how the Steelers /Ravens and their fans hate each other and where they’re from… anyway the food was really good and beer selection was great. Great bar staff and service…

Are you f-ing serious… $ 8.00, plus a $ 1.00 in taxes for a bottle of Full Tilt beer. Get real.

I popped in for a quick brew one weekday afternoon. I think I was the only one in the place, as it was after lunch. Friendly bartender, cold beer, cheap domestic drafts in either a standard or large(20 oz) pour on lunch special prices. Nice hole in the wall to knock back a few unpretentious frosty ones.

One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve had in MD; and comin from a native NYer, that’s pretty high praise… The seasoned fries were seasoned well. Result — I’m full! **Nice**!!!

Had a Caribbean chicken burger. It was salty… I will not be eating here again… plus the waiter charged us a $ 2 convenience fee for using a credit card prior to us even paying. Needless to say we used cash…

This place is OPEN! Normal bar hours, call if you’re not sure they’re open. My boyfriend and I were tourists to Baltimore and wandered into Water Street looking for the Tigers vs Orioles game on a busy football sunday. Our bartender, Leanna, was happy to turn the game on for us and even put the game through the main speakers per our request(and after a quick once over with the bar to make sure all patrons were okay with it) We had the buffalo wings to snack on, they were tasty but very fried. The bar is limited to craft beers, which is great if that’s what you’re looking for! The bartender was very knowledgable as to which craft beer was most similar to more well known brews. Great experience over all!

July 16, 2014 — This place is open — sans crêpe place — little bit o’ reggae in old part of Baltimore. Key West theme. Divish. Patio. 2TV’s in bar. Bar seats about 15. Patio another 30ish. Cool staff.

Food was incredible, the bartender(Joe) was awesome. He has turned me on to eating my crab cake with mustard. OMG, SOOO freaking good. I highly recommend this place and will come back next time I visit Baltimore! :)

So great. Walking from CVS and our terrible bloody mary experience at the harbor, we saw this place and thought it was harmless. Again… we’re on vacation and wanted to just sit outside with a drink. Mission accomplished. Great local place, with a friendly bartender. I ordered the coconut shrimp at they were surprisingly good! Yeah! Cold brew to wash away the burning bloody mary. Good location, good food, good service, great patio and open air bar… a ok in my book.

We came here at an odd time and it was not remotely busy. So I’m not sure if this was the reason but the service was excellent and our food came out very quickly. We had lunch specials so the price was good too. The portions were large. The food was good, overall solid. I was a big fan of the waffle fries, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. As we had just stopped by quickly for lunch we did not try out the bar. The indoor bar is fairly small but the patio outside had a fair sized area for seating. Good place to take a break and people watch.

I came here on a recommendation from the bar tender at my hotel(apparently they get 50% the menu of recommend the place). The Water Street Tavern is situated directly next to Peter’s, which am I told is owned by the same people. Peter’s is a bit more upscale, while Water Street Tavern is a bit more laid back. They both looked nice with outdoor seating that quaintly spills out into the alleyway. It was too cold for me to sit outside, but it looked really nice. I sat myself at the bar and the bar tender gave me a jolly greeting, introduced himself, and shook my hand. He remembered my name throughout the duration of the night and was more than friendly and accommodating. After ordering my bourbon, I tried to order the clams casino to start — unfortunately they were out of them, and apparently had been out for some time, as the bar tender made the comment«I keep telling them to just take it off the menu because everyone tries to order them». I quickly switched my order to the crab dip(this place is two blocks from the Inner Harbor) which was delicious. It had some serious lumps of crab meat, which are my #1, 2, and 3 requirements when consuming crab dip. I ended up ordering the grouper sandwich for dinner and I can’t complain. The fish was tasty and flakey. All in all I had 3 bourbons, 1 beer, crab dip, grouper sandwich, and my total bill was $ 54(not including tip — I left a good one). Not too shabby. I will be back on my next trip to Baltimore.

Pros: lots of TV’s at the bar. Somewhat cute Russian barkeep chick. She has her crew of gals at the bar. I had the crabcake sandwich and mozzarella & Tomato salad — both served in 5 minutes, which was very unexpected. Tasted good(3.5÷5 stars) Cons: meal for myself was $ 35. And that’s WITHOUT alcohol.
