This is my favorite pizza in Baltimore. Good crust, AMAZING sauce. The spicy sauce is pretty much the greatest thing about the pizza here. They have a good variety of specialty pizzas, and I’m particular fan of the Old Bay Beast. I work nearby, so I stop in frequently. I generally have a good experience. Reasonable customer service, though it does get busy from time to time and service does suffer occasionally.

Amazing pizza. Gosh. Closest thing to real NYC or jersey pizza in the Maryland area. Any chance you guys would open a shop in Columbia, MD!!! Also the only place in the area that has a great vegan slice. Seriously! The crust stays firm and doesn’t sag at all. I love the pesto.

I don’t know what happened to this place… Or maybe just never order delivery. The first time I thought it might be a fluke, but for the second time Two Boots’ delivery was abysmal. It took an hour and a half for the pizza to arrive and when it did it was burnt and cold. After calling the restaurant, they refused to acknowledge any blame. Very, very disappointing.

Stopped by here at the recommendation of our MICA tour guide. The garlic knots were very disappointing: just cold dinner rolls brushed with garlic butter. The pizza was interesting. The two standout aspects are the crust and the sauce. The crust is delightfully thin and crispy, coated with corn meal. The sauce was rather spicy, but unusually so, with more of a green pepper taste than oregano or basil. The toppings on my pizza were fine, but not worthy of special comment. My daughter was finicky about the cheese, but it tasted like ordinary mozzarella to me. No problems with the service. People were very friendly. Inclined to give the place 3 ½ stars rather than 4 because of the garlic knots, but the pizza is quite good.

Place is good, pizza is tasty– however many of the specialty slices didn’t look like they were worth 4 $ so I ordered a small bird pie. Came out quickly but at 10 $ and 10 inches I was expecting it to have much more chicken. While it was cooked near well — it lacked the saucy buffalo chicken chunks I had hoped to see — it just had a handful of pretty sloppily cut pieces of dry grilled chicken. Stopped in before close the other night and when I saw only a few slices left I asked for a discount and she just wiped her nose with her hand and said… not yet… Uhh ok??? Then after handing me my check and she goes«if you live in blah blah you can get one» wtf? Ok dude Slices looked like they were there all day and when I paid 11 $ for 3 of em I was hugely disappointed — especially after I saw the stack of special slices they had picked out and looked like we’re taking home… Last few times I’ve been here I have left severely regretting my decision. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. Maybe drop your prices or give a discount when it’s 10 minutes to close

I gave this place a shot based on word of mouth and the fact that they offer gluten free pizza. This was the worst pizza experience I have ever had. Seriously. So… First of all they forgot about me. I had been waiting 35 minutes and there was no pizza in site. It’s not like they were busy so there was no excuse. My pizza date went to go see what was going on… That is the ONLY reason they started on my order. There was no apology or offer to take care of their f-up. To make things worse, the pizza they did make was incredibly sloppy. When my food FINALLY came out, a large amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings were not on the pizza, but in fact on the cardboard box. Also, what part of the pizza that still had toppings, was basically like soup. I would have needed a spoon to eat this meal. I ended up eating 1⁄3 of a slice with the toppings sliding off and had enough. I went back to the counter with the soupy pizza and asked for my money back. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because they gave me my money back. I really wanted to like this place because Cajun food rocks(they have Cajun toppings) but instead, I was given a subpar pizza. So disappointing! I used my returned money to get an AMAZING sweet and savory crêpe at Sofi’s. *sigh* Two Boots, you all really let this hungry girl down.

Terrible customer service. When you make a call, they don’t give you time to talk, they just say, two boots Baltimore and please hold and then put you on hold without giving you time to say anything. I then speak with the general manager and they were also very unaccommodating in how they were trying to assist me. For example, they seem to not want to assist me with a processing situation. He GM seemed to also seemed to not care about what I was looking for in service. I will never personally go here.

I had my first slice of vegan pizza EVER here tonight and it was amazing. So crispy and flavorful and unique. The type of pizza is called«V for Vegan». As a New Yorker I know good pizza when I taste it and this place is top notch. As a new vegan I am so excited to eat here again. Extra points for lovely funky décor, BYOB, wide open feel and fun activities and discounts.

It’s a slice of New York City in Baltimore. The pizza dough is fresh and unbelievably good! You won’t be able to get just one slice; you’d be lying to yourself. Get two and save yourself a trip. Great Boylan’s soda too and it’s also BYOB…

Gralic knots– Fantastic! Pizza– Way too greasy. Ran out of bacon?!? I do not how that happens. There should be always plenty of bacon. Salad-Good but need more dressing options. Space was very clean. Employees friendly to the point. Got sick after eating here, I am thinking it was because the pizza was too greasy.

Best vegan pizza in Baltimore !!! The prices are steep and the wait is usually 40 min for a whole pie so don’t wait until you’re really hungry to go

I ordered delivery from Two Boots this evening, and couldn’t have been more delighted with the quality of the food I received. The menu sticks true to what you would find in a classic pizzeria, but has a very unique spin on most items. I ordered the Larry Tate pizza and eggplant sliders. Both were delicious!

The pizza is just okay. Nothing special about it. The staff isn’t the greatest. I will not be going back again.

Ordered delivery. Took an hour and a half for a small pizza and a salad. After an hour, I called to check status, the guy says«en route». I live less than a mile away. Even w artscape it shouldn’t take over 20 min to get here. Anyway, pizza was cold and floppy. Salad tasted spoiled. Also ordered a cookie but they were«out» and they brought me a Pepsi instead? No thanks. You could have just called and asked what else I wanted or removed it.

I’ve had Two Boots pizza before in New York and liked it there, so I was glad to find that this eclectic pizza place was also in Baltimore. Having eating a lot of New York pizza, I wouldn’t go so far as to classify this as New York-style pizza — it’s more like a New York pizza chain in Baltimore if you get my drift… The crush is thicker and chewier. It was also a bit more burnt than I would have liked. They sell both slices and pies. I stopped in grab dinner, so I opted for the slice option. They have an interesting selection of pizzas. I went with the Animal Collective(artichoke pizza) and the garlic knots. As others have mentioned, the garlic knots are good. You can’t really go wrong with garlic knots: butter, and garlic, but I’d say these are above average in terms of their fluffiness and freshness. Sometimes, garlic knots may seem a bit stale since they’ve been sitting there for a while. Their artichoke pizza was good — seemed reminiscent of Artichoke Pizza in New York City, but less decadent. NYC’s Artichoke Pizza is like drinking artichoke soup on a pizza crush, but this had the right mix of creaminess without being too rich. One thing to note is that they told me that they’d have the pie out in about 10 minutes, but it took more like 20. While I probably would have waited that long anyway, it was a bit annoying that they underestimated how long it would take…

Let me just say this; their garlic knots. It is so melt in your mouth delicious. They are buttery with loads of garlic goodness. The garlic knots come out fresh out of the over which makes the bread super soft and bouncy. Their pizza is off the hook. They offer such unique toppings. But my favorite is the plain cheese. I mean their dough is so fresh that I really love the taste of the crust and the dough. Their jambalaya is the only thing I didn’t like too much. It was a bit too spicy for a jambalaya. They also added a twist to the traditional jambalaya seasoning. I really love the traditional taste of jambalaya so their new twist was a bit odd for my taste buds. But I can see someone totally loving two boots’ jambalaya. It’s something you should at least try!

I’m only going to focus on their house salad and garlic knots. Which are totally awesome on levels of wickedness. The house salad is formed with field greens, red onions, carrots and chickpeas(garbanzo beans) with a chipotle ranch dressing the combination is firework in your mouth. The garlic knots are prepared daily. The buttery flavor with all that garlic will have you coming back for more. By now you are wondering why such low stars? Poor customer service. Not sure if they are trying to give a true experience of New York. But I will pass on that… it was to the point they were rude.

I walked into a meeting with a take out box from Two Boots and was immediately the envy of the room. About 14 people asked me where I got my pizza. They do a thin, hand tossed style dough and in NY style fashion, they have huge wide slices. Like I said, the slices are huge and I can stand to share, so I tried to offer a few bites… no takers, just a bunch of droolers. I like these guys. Many of their pizzas are named after famous folks and sometimes even based on the toppings the celebrity liked. I usually get a slice of «The Bird». It is named after a jazz musician named Charlie«Bird» Parker. Given the Bird in the name, this pizza pie is topped with spicy buffalo chicken, blue cheese dressing instead of red sauce and then garnished with scallions and jalapeños. It’s spicy, but not too peppery-ness is tampered by the blue cheese chunks. I love this one and thank a friend for the recommendation. I also added a slice of «The Newman» on a whim. Newman is more of a character than a celebrity, even so a pizza pie of sopressata, sweet Italian sausage on a white pie seems exactly like something he would eat. It hit the spot for exactly what I was looking for. I guess I was craving some greasy, meaty goodness. I can’t say enough about the ambiance of this place. It’s fun on the inside, but not so fun that it can be distracting. These guys must really like working here. They always have a smile on their face.

Really good pizza! I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t crowded at all. Seems like a chill place to grab a slice of pizza and some coffee and read a book or study. My friends and I split a medium pizza. We got half the Tony Clifton and half the Night Tripper. Both were delicious, something we probably couldn’t get anywhere else. Three of us split the medium — if we were hungrier we probably could have gotten the large. This place is also pretty affordable in terms of places to eat out in Baltimore. If I lived closer to here, I would definitely come here often to get a slice and maybe some garlic knots. Check it out if you’re in the area!

Two Boots has a few things going for it — wide delivery range, and oh-so-garlicy garlic knots. The whole«two boots» concept(Italy + Louisiana) doesn’t really do it for me, but there’s enough of the old world boot options to keep me happy. I’m definitely more of a traditionalist when it comes to pizza toppings, so a pizza with crab and crawfish really doesn’t appeal to me. But for those of you looking for something adventurous — check it out. Both times we’ve ordered from Two Boots we got the Cleopatra Jones — sweet Italian sausage, roasted peppers, onions, and mozzarella. The first time, we were eating three hours later than usual, so I think our hunger outweighed our taste buds. I remember the first time it was so delicious! But the second time, the same pizza was just not awesome. The crust was really thin and dry, and although there was really nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t satisfying. Nothing special about the toppings, sauce or cheese, and I just didn’t care for the crust. For me, it’s a middle-range pizza in Baltimore — not the best, but far from the worst. It’s probably better for someone who likes a little pizza adventure!

Came here for the first Elite event of the year. I really enjoyed my self and seeing all of my Elite friends again. I thought this establishment was kind of small. I really enjoyed cat fish and salad. My wife really enjoyed the different types of pizza. She was in heaven trying all of the different types of pizza. My wife was surprise when I won the polar Bear Plunge. So I guess she will be experiencing something new this year. So again Elsa thanks for throughing a nice event and surpring my wife about the polar bear plunge that I won.

I read a lot of things about food ‘places to try before you die’ and other lists that are basically just one persons opinion on where the best place is to grab a certain dish. Usually when I scroll through, there’s never a spot in Baltimore. However recently I was reading ’18 Pizza Joints to Try Before You Die’ and this list highlighted a spot with a location in Baltimore! Two Boots has cajun inspired pizzas in the Station North area, right next to MICA. A friend and I were looking for a quick bite and wanted to try something other than our usual pizza spots(Our House, Johnny Rad’s) so I suggested Two Boots. When we walked in, Two Boots was set up like a traditional NY Pizza place(counter ordering, pizza by the slice) but the décor was eclectic and definitely reminiscent of New Orleans. We decided to share an order of the Garlic Knots to start. These were served piping hot with tons of garlicky flavor. Next, we decided to share a small pizza pie. In retrospect, we probably should have each ordered our own slice to get a better feel of the place. On our pizza we ordered mushrooms and basil. The pizza was good, but I hardly found it to be worthy of the 18 Pizza Joints to Try Before You Die title. The toppings were fine, nothing special. But the crust had a strange texture, almost sandy. Would I have liked Two Boots more if I ordered a cajun style pizza that they’re known for? Possibly. However my issue wasn’t with their toppings but the cornmeal crust.
