Amazing wine and very friendly. I went alone and didn’t feel alone. It was great! Amazing food, you much get the turkey pesto sandwich.

Very much enjoyed a late afternoon stop here. The server was opening two reds at the start of that shift, and asked me to taste them; generous pours. Better yet — very warm and friendly service. Will be back again.

Ended up at V-No for a 5 pm happy hour, beautiful day near the water. We were seated at an outdoor table with an umbrella. Had some lovely wine and some eats. Their menu is centered around the wine so I wouldn’t come here if you’re looking for a huge dinner. But it’s perfect for grabbing a nice glass with friends. The cheese platter was DELICIOUS. Nice mix of soft and hard cheese with sweet jam, paired really well with the white wine we ordered. I found free street parking easily. I love Fell’s Point. With the new luxury hotel coming up just next to V-No I’m sure this area will become even more popular.

An awesome spot in Fells to unwind with a group of friends and share a bottle of wine. They have a wide variety of wine selection, ranging from $ 10 — $$$, and every bottle has a little description to go along with it, which is super helpful. So this is how this place works: you pick a bottle of wine and you have a choice to either purchase it for a take-out or drink it at the place with a small corkage fee(~$ 7). Although it may seem a little pricey, I think it’s definitely cheaper than sharing a bottle at restaurants(where you are practically charged $ 30 for a bottle of yellow tail). Ladies who work here are all very nice and accommodating. They also have outdoor seatings available. It’s an awesome place to hang out with a group of friends while enjoying the view.

We chose to stop here after lunch since they had outside seating. We sat outside after we placed our order with Ashley. Service was prompt, courteous and very nice. Due to just leaving lunch we chose just to have some wine. We liked the selection but would have liked to see a Pinot Grigio on the menu. Before we left, I did buy a bottle of Pinot Griigo with the help from Ashley. She was great. Will be looking to go back as the weather warms up.

V-No is my go to wine bar. Located by the water in Fells, you can get wine shwasted into euphoria and start your bar hopping night here or stay for the long haul. They have a really nice selection of interesting wine with a reasonable cheese selection. It’s usually not too crowded as people turnover, especially if the outdoors is open, but the space inside is small. It’s not cheap given the corkage fees, but it’s no more expensive than any other wine bar. You also have the option to grab a bottle and take it home. There’s a 6 bottles for $ 60 deal to go as well.

Very nice, little spot with a nice sized window for a view. The prices range from good(Oh cool, I can do this bottle for the price with some cheese so bring it on!) to crazy(you want WHAT for THAT bottle?!?) so just do your research. Of course you buy the bottle and there’s a corkage fee. Because it’s a wine bar. And of course, the cost of buying a bottle compared to the cot of the same wine per glass is better than if you buy a glass. Because it’s a wine bar. Don’t go complaining about these aspects. They’re in most wine bars. That’s all I’m gonna say about that. Overall, the munchies are decent. Not bad but not special. I feel like this is a chill Sun evening spot or the, «I want wine but don’t want to be in the house but can’t bear yp go to a neighboring dive bar because A) it’s a dive bar and B) sports, kinda spot.

Beware of Urban Pirates next door! V-NO is not the kind of wine bar that I’m used to. This isn’t one of those ritzy places with plush chairs, mood lighting that’s only a notch higher than total darkness, and women in various shades of red lipstick. This is a cozy little place where you can sit outside right by the water and take in the night air. The selection of wines you can order by the glass fits on a single page, though it covers the spectrum of wines pretty well. You can also get any of the bottles available inside for a corkage fee. The service was okay. They could tell that it was our first time there, but they didn’t offer a lot of help, and once we were outside, it was hard to get anyone’s attention for anything. Though I prefer the ambiance of other wine bars, sitting outside and enjoying the wine, the weather, and the company was really nice. However, one thing really dampened the mood during our visit: Urban Pirates. Urban Pirates is a boat cruise company located right next door to V-NO and their port is right across the street. When the boat is docked, it takes up the majority of your view of the water. It’s great to be next to the water, but when there’s a pirate ship in the way, it’s hard to appreciate any sort of view. The boat is also really, really, really close to V-NO. So close that when they began their onboarding spiel and activities, we heard everything loud and clear. It was extremely loud and distracting, and I couldn’t hear my friend over the noise. We had to stop our conversation and wait for the boat to leave. I think we sat there, unable to do much more than watching the boat, for 15 minutes. Considering the small selection, the okay service, and the price of being located next to Urban Pirates, there are far better places you can go for a glass of wine.

Pros: — beautiful location and view of the water. Outdoor sittings are the best on a summer night. — nice selection of wine — friendly staff Cons: — wish they had more outdoor tables — closes too early compared to other bars in the neighborhood.

Very nice little wine bar. Small but smart menu– very satisfying little plates or paninis. We had cheese plate, Mediterranean plate-just enough food! Nice selection of cheeses, olives, jam, hummus, pita, grape leaves… Wine selection very nice, very affordable. Very relaxing, clean, modern atmosphere– plenty of waterfront outdoor seating. Only minus– service very slow. And– right by terrible low brow fake pirate ship!!! When they are loading all the fake«aargs!» made me want to hurl… Indoors you are safe from that!

Went here this weekend with my family and had a great experience! We had been walking all day along the water with my dog and wanted a place to grab a bite and something to drink. We asked if we could sit outside with my dog and they said absolutely. The waitress(I wish I had asked her name because she was fantastic) came out shortly and brought us our waters and asked if I wanted some ice to put in my dogs water bowl(we had already put water in there but she figured it was probably warm). Very thoughtful! My family had a glass of beer and wine, which they said was very good. We ordered the Mediterranean Plate, Rustic Plate and Toasted Nuts, all of which I’d highly recommend. The grape leaves were fantastic and the nuts had a very nice seasoning on them. My favorite item was the peppers which had cheese and prosciutto on top and were altogether perfect. Everything tasted great and it was a perfect pick me up after a long day of walking. I saw that they serve home made paninis, would love to try them in the future. The only thing I didn’t like were the pirate boat tours which leave from the dock in front of the restaurant. The horn was SUPER loud and scared the crap out of my dog(not literally, thankfully). Other than that this is a perfect spot to grab a drink and some great food. Awesome view, friendly staff and we will likely return when we’re in the area.

A little pricey, but to be expected of a place right on the water. I went on a Friday night and the atmosphere is great, definitely louder and more social inside and more laid-back outside, but it’s nice to be able to to choose. I’ll have to go back to try their foods but they had a good selection of red and white wines as well as some beers.

The weather has broken in beautiful Charm City and please please enjoy some time outside. I must make a case for V-NO as a great outdoor spot. They are simple, casual and low key, but with a great deal of fantastic wine choices. Please go inside to ask for a table, there are a ton of them and they turn over quickly, so practice your patience. As per usual, we started with sparkles. These aren’t your ordinary sparkles — these are our new favorite Argyle sparkles from the Willamette Valley. I probably like them because its about 60% Pinot Noir grapes giving it some interesting minerality notes. And check out their cheese plate — lots of toasted bread, three large chunks of fine cheeses and some olives — and for only a little over $ 12. A huge chunk of sharp cheddar, a soft creamy cheese and a peppery spicy one. We continued our evening with a few bottles of white — one we have been currently drinking over at Birroteca and one from a vineyard i really wanted to visit when I was in Oregon. I have a new found love for this place. The have a ton of bottles chilled for immediate enjoyment and then even more bottles to choose from if you want to take a bottle to go. The prices are quite reasonable with a $ 7 corkage fee. I am getting a little over these corkage fees especially when so many of bottles are twist offs these days. Nevertheless, a similar bottle is over $ 50 at some of the other nearby restaurants.

V-NO benefits most from its fantastic location along the waterfront in Fells, but still has a decent selection of red and white wines that would probably suit the palate of most drinkers. The vinho verde is an especially good choice, particularly with summer just around the corner. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable for the area and friendly staff is generous with their pours. Sitting outside also provides front row seating to enjoy the departures and arrivals of the Urban Pirates, the theatrics of which are infinitely more entertaining when you’re riding a good wine buzz. Yarrrrr!

V-NO was a nice surprise! V-NO is basically a wine bar with a huge variety of wine and a small selection of food to go with it. Prices are pretty good for the area, though I know some dislike the $ 7 corkage fee. Service is quick and responsive, which is not surprising given the relatively small size of the place. The wine here, which we picked with assistance from our waiter, was excellent. Of course, you could go well or poorly here — it all depends on the wine. The food itself was good — we got a charcuterie plate and a panini — though I’ll confess that I was a bit turned off by the bag of chips. I’m definitely a fan, and will be returning.

Great spot, perfectly situated on the water in Fells Point. Perfect for meeting up with friends. I loved the Jar-Jam Moscato from South Africa. The price point is great. Very well priced! If you are looking for a social spot over the perfect glass of wine and a nice bite to eat, I’d recommend V-No. Outside eating space & inside eating space. Late hours make it a great choice also.

Can someone point me to a wine bar located on the DC waterfront that’s similar to V-NO in Fell’s Point? Please?! V-NO describes themselves as ‘Comfortable and inviting. Eclectic yet simple.” And they’re located in Fells Point right on the waterfront. When I’m in Baltimore, I enjoy gathering here with friends before walking downtown for a number of dinner options. If you’re not quite the wine connoisseur, you needn’t worry. Wines are categorized by the mouth(how the wine feels on the palate): rich, lush, juicy, or round, just to name a few. Your wine-tender can help you along the way. Grab some nibbles, like toasted nuts, cheese, or their rustic plate. Then enjoy your wine indoors when it’s cold or raining or sit and relax outside and watch time go by as the sun sets in Charm City. And remember, the best wines are the ones we drink with friends!

I pass by this place all the time and finally went here with some co workers. The inside is nice and wine selection is great. Prime complaints: ALL the tables are wobbly, old and cheap. Think IKEA but worse. The $ 7 uncorking fee. Good: Staff is nice Healthy wine pours Honest recommendations from the staff and always checked on my group at the right moments. Knocking off two stars because of the tables. Why? Because they were so busted and wobbly that no one could rest their arms on the table in fear of something falling off. My recommendation is to get some nice lounge chairs in there and a small table. Ditch the high tops. Despite my 3 star rating, you should go visit this place. I certainly be back hopefully multiple times. However, I go in knowing what to offer and they will have to significantly impress me before I update the review.

V-No is a cute little wine bar by the water in Fells. I really enjoyed the atmosphere from outside to inside. Their wine menu by the glass is not very extensive but it is diverse enough to satisfy every palette. You can try any bottle available for sale in the store for a $ 7 fee, not too bad. Service was very warm and friendly. I was stuck between two reds and our server offered tasting of both to help my decision. Their pours here are generous! If you’re in the area, definitely give V-no Wine Bar a try!

After closing my office early on Friday I was looking for a place in Fells Point to get an afternoon glass of wine. See the problem there? I was in FP and while pubs are plentiful I don’t drink beer. Jumped on Unilocal and found this gem. The outdoor seating is really nice. I like that it is just off Thames so you can see it but don’t have to engage it. I’m several years past the bar crawl scene. There was a lot of foot traffic though due to the pirate ship that parks right there. No biggie for me though. It was fun to watch the kiddies board, and then later the adults — I ended up sitting there for hours, much longer than anticipated. There are probably 8 or 9 tables outside so seating is plentiful. The only issue was the sun, but it worked out in the end. More on that later. There are umbrellas but the location of the sun in he late afternoon sun meant they only covered a couple of tables. There is a nice selection of affordable priced wines by the glass. I tried several. You can get a bottle from inside and pay a corkage fee, but since I went alone I didn’t want a whole bottle. Back to the sun, it helped create a very warm, family type feel amongst the customers outside. We were sharing sunscreen and I ended up sharing my shaded table with another guy(it wasn’t like that, he wasn’t hitting on me!). I think that might have been the thing that hooked me. I felt at home and in community with complete strangers. No posturing or being too cool for school. I loved it. Now for he icing on the cake: early in the day I complemented the sommelier/waitress(not sure what to call her) on her beautiful earrings. I didn’t say it, but they matched my outfit perfectly. Once I paid my bill, she put hem in the bill fold with my credit card! She literally took off her earrings and gave them to me! I was floored! That, my friends, is SERVICE! This is officially MY wine bar now. …from a certified wineaux.
