Dairy Queen

Not impressed. Basic dq food terrible onion rings and flying bugs seemed to be all over. Wanted to charge me $.25 for a measly packet of BBQ sauce. We won’t be going back.

Oh my goodness… that was a perfect family fix. Fed our family of 6 for $ 30.69…a minor miracle fr a family on vacation. That included burger/​chicken strips, fries, drink AND DESSERT!
Friendly service.

If I could go lower that one star I would. Avoid this place at all costs. Very slow, unfriendly service. Food is terrible and thrown together into a sloppy mess. This is the worst fast food facility I have ever experienced in my life. I lived in Bandon for a summer to work at the resort and went here multiple times. I gave it multiple chances and I don’t know why I went back because it progressively got worse and worse. The people working there don’t look clean at all and it doesn’t look like there is much care in the sanitation dept.
I cannot stress enough DO NOT GO TO THIS DAIRY QUEEN!!!

I did something I’ve never done while visiting Bandon — I ordered something in a drive-​thru, but then drove off instead of picking it up at the window.
I first ordered my husband a small vanilla shake. Then I TRIED to order a Coke Freeze* — something I’ve had at easily 2 dozen different Dairy Queens over the last 20 years. The girl on the other end of the microphone said she didn’t know what a Coke Freeze was — and I was too tired to hold a seminar. So I switched to a small cone.
That would be 1 small soft serve cone, and one small vanilla shake.
Small soft serve cones are going for .50 each at Burger King this summer.
Small vanilla shakes average about $ 2 at burger joints.
As I was starting to pull up from the order-​microphone, she told me the total for my order was nearly $ 6.
I honked my horn so I could tell her to cancel the order (and why), but she didn’t answer. I honked again. Nothing. So I drove away.
Dairy Queens don’t even use real milk in their «famous» dairy queen-​chow.
Why would I pay double the going rate for that kind of a disappointment?
*A Coke Freeze is a milk shake made with CocaCola syrup as the flavoring (not a Coke with ice cream unblended — that would make it a Coke Float; or a carbonated Coke blended with ice cream — that would make a Fizzy Coke Shake.)
This is not brain surgery.
