Ill start off by saying the people here are super nice we had great service. They were so nice that they failed so horribly at dinner, we chose to go back for breakfast. They have horrible food out of 6 different entrees my mother got the Club sandwich witch was the only edible thing. Also they don’t serve beer so beware. Don’t order the biscuit and gravy it will make you scream for southern cooking. Great people and they open early, I did enjoy my fried potatoes for breakfast.

Service was great and so Was the breakfast! Our server was attentive and honest And appeared to work in the kitchen too! Seemed like a really well ran family restaurant. We are in town 2 days and will definitely be back for our second breakfast!

More like the 90 min café… Awful experience– rude staff, terrible service and no food 40 minutes later. From the minute we walked in we were«greeted» by an angry, scowling waitress who barked at us that it would be a while before they cleaned a tables for us. Not a warm welcome, but based on other reviews, we still thought it worth pursuing. Finally got a table, slyly noticing that no one in the place had food on the table. This should have been our second warning; stupidly, we pushed on. Same scowling waitress took our order 15 min later… and then the true wait began. Wait staff rushed wildly about the place, yet no food was being served. As the tables around us finally started receiving food, every single table sent it back. Warning three. The kids were committed to the pancakes and biscuits ordered(30 min prior), so we pushed on. 45 minutes passed– no food, no refills on long-gone coffee, and then a general announcement(yes, yelling across the restaurant) by the scowling waitress that the kitchen was«backed up» and it would be «awhile.» See ya. We left $ 10 for our coffee and walked across the street for egg sandwiches.

This place is definitely worth a visit. The service was great, local and friendly. The breakfast was awesome, corned beef has was homemade and delicious. Another plus is that they don’t jack up the prices like other places in town just to get the tourist dollars, you get what you pay for. The mug collection on the wall is worth a look…

We had first tried to go to the Sea Star Bistro, but they apparently had somewhere more important to be on a beautiful Saturday when Old Town was packed with tourists. So we ended up at the Minute Café instead. Well, we should have heeded the warnings of other Unilocalers who said the portions are too small, and the prices too high. Our server, Joni, was nice and helpful. But she couldn’t make up for the fact that we left feeling like we’d once again been hosed in Bandon. That’s getting old, town.

My parents and I stayed in Bandon for the night and looked on Unilocal for a Breakfast/Brunch place to eqt at this morning. Don’t be turned away by the average reviews, this place is excellent! The coffee was very flavorful, all of the omelettes we ordered we delicious, and the biscuits were exceptional! :) Taylor, our waitress, was very friendly and diligent during our visit. Minute Café has a very friendly, home-y diner vibe. Definitely recommend!

We came to this café six months ago while looking for a home. We absolutely adore this little café and they’re cute mugs on the wall. Pauline was very helpful and accommodating. The food is incredibly good at good prices for breakfast or lunch. We haven’t had dinner yet there, but we will. Thank you for your service and your wonderful food. I wish you guys were closer to where we live!

This place is a joke. Was there on a Wednesday morning, about 10 other people in the place. Took 10 minutes to get our coffee. Then we waited another 20 minutes to not get asked what we wanted for breakfast but the waitresses had plenty of time to shoot the breeze with everyone else. The coffee was 1.75 a piece for a total of 3.50. Put a 5 dollar bill on the table as that was the smallest bill I had and walked out. So for their crappy service they got a 1.50 tip. Try the coffee house and bakery down the street. It’s on the same street two blocks to the west. Fabulous coffee and even better food and pastries.

Have the crêpes. You will not regret it! Everything is homemade here so be sure to come when you’re not STARVING because it takes a little longer to prepare. Once your food comes you will be pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything is. The place is family owned and definitely has a family feel to it. It’s nice to have that feeling first thing in the morning.

Great little restaurant! Menu had lots to choose from. I had a delicious burger with ham and swiss cheese. Burger Pattie was handmade and not frozen. Hubby had pancakes that were huge and bacon was cooked perfect he said. Place was very clean and staff was very friendly.

Pros. Nice people/waitstaff. Tasty food. Cons. Smaller portions. Kind of spendy for what you get. I had the homemade burger steak and biscuit. Was good but not for the price.

We got here too late for pancakes or crepes(stop serving at 11) so maybe that would make it better. The eggs had a bad taste– used wrong grill or bad oil — horrible grits– must be instant/awful! Good corn beef hash/gravy and biscuits /grade is C– coffee/feeble attempt. Not sure where other ratings came from, but this is a 2 at best. With a little pride and effort– they could make this so much better. They should charge more and use better ingredients and offer organic eggs, etc.

Traveling for a golf tournament and ran across this place! I am a fanatic about cleanliness and quality of food. This place is fantastic and Twyla is the best! Very friendly and comfortable with great breakfasts and good service.

Not a lot to write home about. Friendly service but tiny tiny eggs. And my syrup tasted like bacon fat. Until she replaced it. Cute little homey local diner, but don’t bother with the cinnamon roll. It’s bready and pricey.

OK food cooked slowly. We went in on a weekday. There may have been a handful of people in the place. And yet our order took a surprisingly long time to come out. It wasn’t bad. Next time, I think I’ll follow the crowd down to the boardwalk, where I suspect the wait might be worth it.

DONOTEATHERE! you’ll waste an hour at the 60 minute café waiting for food that will never come out. The waitresses will make the locals their priority and screw the tourists. Unless you are on Team Bob, you will never get service. I love what the waitress said as we walked out the door, and i quote, have a wonderful day come again. We never got our food and got up and walked out, idiot!

Had breakfast there this morning with my two nieces. I was looking forward to it as I have memories of enjoying meals there when I lived in Bandon as a kid. One of my nieces ordered eggs… which were served with an extra side of grease. My other niece ordered a pancake, which was gooey in the middle,(as in not fully cooked.) I ordered bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were okay, but the bacon was the greasiest bacon I’ve ever had, to the point that there was a puddle of grease at the bottom. I made mention of this to the waitress,(middle aged, heavy set, about as friendly and outgoing as a Canadian Goose,) and she said, «oh well, you can’t pick the pig.» Obviously she was wrong… I can guarantee I won’t go back there again.
