Came in sat at the bar ordered and awesome steak cooked perfectly medium rare on the light menu with only 420 calories. It was very decadent

Wasn’t expecting much since it was late and it’s a corporate chain restaurant. Food was bleh. The server never actually stopped at the table just walked past while asking if we were all set, run away waitress. Both my girlfriend and I serve, 20% service and we will give 35% tip and don’t assume that because we look young that we’re lousy tippers ugh. patron margarita was straight strawberry purée. Woman shook her head when she saw she was given like 17% tip YOUDIDNTGIVEME20% SERVICEFRIEND!!!

Bangor is becoming more and more diverse with their food options these days, there are a lot of fantastic locations to choose from, and despite being a chain restaurant, this Chili’s is one of those fantastic locations. The food is consistently delicious and the variety of options keep each experience fresh. However, what makes this particular location shine is the cleanliness of the location and the courtesy of the staff. They’re almost always polite and on point with their service, and honestly, the only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is a few bad experiences I’ve had here. But overall I highly recommend this place for the great food and atmosphere. 4⁄5 Would definitely come back again.

For a chain restaurant, this Chili’s is pretty great. The restaurant is clean and the staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to please. The restaurant is divided in two sections, dining and the bar and that helps keep the dining area a more intimate or family experience while the bar is a great place to socialize or watch your favorite sports team. I particularly love the homemade guacamole here. Made to order with love(and secret spices) Chili’s homemade guac tastes very different(and much better) than their normal order of guacamole for just a few more bucks. I’ve utilized their take out service on several occasions and enjoy their rewards program as well as the efficiency of getting me in and out of the restaurant and back to my couch. The menu has something for everyone(I prefer their southwest chicken salad) and fun interactive digital screens at every table where you can view the menu, play a game or simply pay your bill. Way to go, Bangor Chili’s!

We love love love Chilis. We just started going there regularly and now it is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu has a lot to choose from which appeals to our finicky family.

What happened? Food was OK… Service was terrible, waitress was terrible from start to finish! Quote from my waitress«I must be blind» Yup you are! Terrible service equals small tip! My last trip to Chili’s in Bangor. Manager please!

Been by here many times but never gave it much though. Used to frequent the Cielos truck that recently moved out of the area. Anyways hit Chillis for the first time and it was rather good. We’ll go back. Was there on Friday at about 1PM. The host who was probably a high school kid was a total idiot but other than that good experience. Waitress was a doll, food was solid and the atmosphere isn’t bad at all. Friend had the alfredo chicken pasta, I had the mini burgers and rings. We shared a queso dip. It was all good. Obviously a chain. Plenty of them within earshot. Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, McDonalds, BQ, KFC, Wendys, Uno and Pet Smart. Avoid Pet Smart. Their food options are limited to pet food.

Consistently good food, solid service, and ridiculously cheap prices on the special lunch menu and during happy hour(go on Sunday, and you’ll thank me). This particular location is hopping and for good reason. It’s probably the best chain restaurant in town other than Buffalo Wild Wings. Note: the table-side guacamole here is the best in Bangor — don’t waste your time at the faux-Mexican joints in town. It’s the real deal and only costs $ 6.95. Nice!

My mom, sister and I went to Chili’s yesterday for a late lunch around 2pm. We got chips, salsa, and guacamole as an appetizer and it was so good! The chips weren’t greasy and our waiter mix up fresh guacamole in front of us. Its not processed green goo that came in a big tub, it’s actual real avocado and you choose what you want in it like onions, tomatoes, jalapeño, salt, lime, and cilantro. Then my mom and sister each ordered a combination plate where you can choose two or three items like hard or soft tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, quesadillas, and maybe fajitas and you can mix and match and it comes with rice and beans. I got triple dipper? I forget the name but, you choose three items from their appetizers list and I got boneless buffalo wings, loaded potato skins, and cheeseburger sliders and it was all so good! My mom loved her food and she is a picky eater. My sister did not enjoy her food much and she said it was greasy, but she left full so she couldn’t have hated it that much. Our food came out extremely fast and our waiter, Josh, was delightful! He had great personality and we gave him a good tip because he definitely deserved it. Our bill was $ 37 and change which i thought was very reasonable for three people and we each took food home. The only thing I didn’t like is that they have the calories next to each menu item. I don’t wanna know! But that can be a good thing too. I had a great experience there and I will definitely go back.

I love the margarita and service and food is pretty good. Staff is nice, they dress pretty much the same, so it makes you feel pretty good on service as well. It’s recommended.

The food was actually really good and worth 5 stars. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because of the extremely long wait time. We came in with a party of 8 during lunchtime in the middle of the week(Tuesday I think) and the place was pretty dead but it still took us about an hour and 45 minutes to get out of there. More people might come here during their lunch breaks if they could get in and get out in a timely manner. Maybe they were just short staffed that day. I’m not sure. If that was the case though they could have mentioned it and it could be forgiven. Don’t

I often travel for business and end up eating dinner solo at restaurants. Chili’s is usually a safe bet for me as I am familiar with the menu and try to eat more on the healthy side. They do have a few healthy options. I’ve been here to the location in Bangor a couple times in the last year and had never had an experience like my most recent one. Upon arriving, when the hostess realized I was alone, she asked me if I could sit in the lounge instead. She told me it was ‘seat yourself’ and started to walk away. I politely requested a booth in the regular restaurant. and explained I wasn’t planning on ordering any alcohol. When you are by yourself and aren’t planning on having a drink, it doesn’t make sense to sit in the bar area. She seemed bothered and muttered something about checking to see if a table was open. Half of the restaurant was empty. When I was given a booth to sit at, a waitress came over. At first she was fine but as time went on she was increasingly more bubbly and so over the top that I began to wonder what her deal was. She asked me if I wanted chips and salsa and I said, sure, why not. I didn’t realize these were no longer complimentary and you are charged $ 3.29 for them. She didn’t explain this, either. It’s not that I can’t afford an extra three bucks, I just felt she should have mentioned it. Honest to god, I have never had more nasty, stale chips at a Chili’s or anywhere else in my life. I swear they took the whole container of salt and dumped it all over them. I should have said something, and I would have if I realized I was paying for them, but I didn’t. I kept fishing around looking for a normal one and after a few minutes of this I gave up on them. My dinner came out so fast I was now wondering what on earth I did to these people to have them make me want to leave so quickly. Normally quick is good. That night, everything was dry. Probably from being zapped so quickly. I was starving so I ate it. The manager came out and asked all of the patrons individually if things were ok, but he didn’t really seem like he wanted to engage you in conversation. By this point I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to get out of there. I will continue to go to other Chili’s locations, as I’ve had great service and decent food at many others in my travels. Just not in Bangor. And I’ll speak up next time instead of just writing a bad review on a website.

The menu was standard Chilli’s food. What made this visit great was the service. My wife has a gluten allergy. When we told the waitress this she went WAY out of her way to find dishes my wife could eat and even went back to talk to the cook. That was on top of the already great service she was providing. There wasn’t any empty glass on the table. She was right there with refills before that could happen.
