Great boneless buffalo wings get the reserve with a side salad delicious if you can get a table.

Great place for home cooking. Very busy now that they make their own beer.

Great Chowder and Burgers. Loved the local beers. And for what it’s worth, what ever Stacey is selling, I’ll buy it. Lovely woman.

The BESTWINGSONTHEPLANET. Get the reserve sauce not on the menu. Casual dining experience. Incredible local craft beer made right there.

Looks like a standard hotel chain restaurant but it’s not — it’s local. Always good pub fare, wings, and drinks. Service is good. Desserts are homemade and excellent. Pub cheese is available for take-out. Often silly-busy because of events at the Cross Center, and there is no getting in then.

Amazing beers with great service. Food has nice Irish themes. I miss breakfast, but love the Special Reserve wings!

This is the best pub food in Bangor. Great beer selection, full bar, great service and the food is always tops. Been coming here for over a decade and it just gets better.

I long for these fabulous wings. None better state wide. We get both the bone in which is gluten free and the boneless, which isn’t. Add a small salad, some Bangor Brown, a nitro, smooth and satisfying and you’re good to go! Never misses, never disappoints.

This is a great pub atmosphere. There is also a «quiet side» that is nice if you need something a little less rowdy, or for the«older crowd.» The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is varied — it would be hard NOT to find something you didn’t like. #Bangor #Maine

So freaking disappointing as I planned on a McLaughlin Seafood meal tonight. Being out of town and wanting some lobster or other fresh seafood, their hours were incorrect and now I’m here. And the Unilocal reviews for Geagahn’s seems to be skewed wrong too. For starters, this places location and presentation is scarily similar to every and any hotel restaurant I’ve made the mistake of eating at. Unfortunately, this ones at a motel, with no sign, but lots of people are here and coming in and out. So I enter. That’s when I see that it looks like a TGIF Irish pub. Well, without the traditional pub character and more the franchise type. Then I get the menu. Ugh. Laminated insert bound type indicative of all franchises. And the choice is same knockoff of any franchise. So is it or isn’t it? Too late no it doesn’t matter. I order a craft home porter which is very good and I guess what carries it here. My burger was tasty, grilled to perfection but the American cheese slice was Kraft. And I know Kraft Individual Slices when I see it based on my childhood intake of the crappy fake cheese my mother bought. The sweet potatoes fries seemed too close to frozen type. Truly disappointing and avian mainly because of the Unilocal solid 4-star rating of over 70 reviews. What are you people thinking here??? Ps. Ken the bartender was a shining star but it just ain’t gonna raise my 2 review.

Driving to the Maine Coast we needed a late meal. This is one of the few places open post 9pm in Bangor. The chicken wings are really great and yes the«reserve» sauce is PDG. The chicken club is good as well, very homemade in taste and mouth feel. The real thing like your Gran used to make for the Academy Awards. Excellent fries. The draught list is extensive. Nice staff Place was packed!

All things considered, a letdown. I got the Reuben on a staff member recommendation. It was on the small side and a little greasy. The taste was passable, but given that I’m easy to please, especially where Reubens are concerned, that’s not saying much. The fries were awful… soft, soggy and under seasoned. They do deserve credit for their beer. In fact, if I was only reviewing their craft beer selection based on the three that I tried, this would be a very pleased four_star review.

I liked the lump crab meat salad I ordered. It was okay. Pricey and okay. I guess this is a cool place for younger people to hang out, drink and hear each other talk. Often the wings are the best in town. And sometimes they are the greasiest in town. Since we would order take-out wings often, and quality wasn’t consistent, we really no longer eat here. I think they may be closing soon? I heard something about that recently.

Wow this place is like a best kept secret in bangor, all the craft beers are great and everything on the menu is awesome, quality, quantity, service, and a relaxed and local atmosphere smack dab in the middle of bangor. Give it a try, you will be back! Try the blueberry wheat beer and a small pizza, also the buffulo blue cheese dip is delish!

Avoid. Burger clearly microwaved, bun and all, inedible. Sweet potato fries were cold. Service brusque and unfriendly. A real letdown as we’d been looking forward to coming here.

Love me some Geaghan’s! Order a pint of the Irish Bastard and the wings with the reserve sauce(trust me). Good crowd, bar seating as well as outdoor and restaurant. Good for kids, groups, and just a solo night out.

Feels pretty basic and average. Nothing special food wise from what I could tell. The beer I had was good and feels like that would be the main pull for anyone to come.

For me, the food was just ok. The pickle chips and fried mushrooms need some sort of seasoning in the batter, they were pretty plain. The lobster roll was pretty good but the fries and coleslaw that come with it are pretty sub par. The beer on the other hand was great!

Irish pub stuck in the back of a motel. Really really good pub food. I had the buffalo chicken quesadilla. Huge, of course I did not finish it. The family had ruebens and a special chicken and cheese grilled. Def a place to stop for lunch in the Orono/Bangor area

As far as brewery’s go, this place is pretty awesome. The beers that I had so far are pretty stellar: Very smooth. The food that I had(The fried pickles and Reuben were pretty delicious). I’m taking one star away because I feel the menu is lacking a few key items and have some out of place items. It’s an Irish bar, so I would have expected Bangor’s and Mash and Shepherd’s Pie. Instead, I saw quesadilla’s and nachos. If they add those 2 items, I will increase the rating to 5 stars.

Un restaurant avec beaucoup d ambiance. Le personnel est cordial. Leurs bières brassées localement sont excellentes et valent la peine que l’on s’y risqué. C’est sans compter la nourriture qui est très bonne et pas trop grasse. Je recommande :)
