My friends and I made appointments on a day where it was too cold to go skiing while in the mountains for a girls weekend. We were really hoping for a relaxing all around spa experience. The place is OK, but it is very small and they could not really accommodate our small group(3) as we had hoped. The website says that they have a sauna, just beware it is a small in-home type sauna and you have to pay to use it. If you lay down in it you can’t stretch out. If you sit up, you can sit side by side with one other person, but it’s quite awkward. The sauna wasn’t horrible, just not what we had hoped for. Also, two of us were able to get massages at once while our other friend had to wait for us to finish and vice versa. At a big spa this wouldn’t be an issue because there is always a relaxing area to sit, or a sauna to enjoy, even a fireplace to curl up next to… but not here. And I wish we would’ve known this before hand, we may have opted out. Also, the prices on the website are different than the actual prices. The employees were very nice(there was only 2 of them, again this is a very small place), but the owner was a bit unprofessional. She questioned the employees for giving us a discount right in front of us. Then in order to defend the price she gave us they discussed the tips we left, it was very uncomfortable. With all that said, the owner gave a good massage. I had a 90 minute Swedish massage with her and my friend had a hot stone massage with her, we both enjoyed our services. Our other friend was not as impressed with her services(she was with a different girl). Another gripe, its an old building and it’s winter so the heat isn’t sufficient. They had space heaters, but it was still freezing everywhere except the tiny massage room. All in all it wasn’t terrible, just know what you are getting so your not disappointed.
