Good ice cream place with lots of flavors to choose from. The ice cream «flight» featuring small scoops of four different flavors is a good choice if you can’t decide.

This place was the perfect place to go on a hot summer day. They had so many varieties, from ice creams to sundaes to shakes, and galore! Deciding was the most difficult part! They also had Delicious flavor options, ranging from the traditional vanilla all the way to their own creations such as Cookie Monster. With a unique hand-​washing Cow at the entrance, this place is one that cannot be missed. If you are a tourist in Maine, I would definitely go with the Maine Blueberry or the Blueberry Cheesecake– they are the signature flavor of Maine. If you are in the area, *this* is the place to go for a sweet treat!

The cookie dough had an excellent combination of creamy sweetness. The portions were right for the size. Good ice cream

So Mike D gets a free ice cream, the serving is LARGER than expected, and the menu was confusing (I guess too many gourmet flavors are a bad thing) so he orders vanilla. The best of much ice cream I ate on my trip to Acadia. Seriously high praise. Get the blueberry cheesecake. Also liked the Lemon Gingerbread (or w/​e the lemon was that I had). Goes well after lobster or mini golf. Portions were bag and mini golf provides coupons. Free sprinkles!

If you aren’t limited to in town Bar Harbor dining, Udder Heaven Ice Cream Retreat is a fabulous option. The prices are much more reasonable than in town, and the portion sizes are generous for the price. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and service was swift. A big thumbs up for this local business! Also, there is a big cow in front of the building that will speak to you! Nice!

We came here after getting a coupon from the Pirate’s Cove mini golf place across the street and it was delicious! I got the blueberry which was amazing and my wife liked hers too. They have a large menu and all the ice cream is homemade (we could see them making it).

We won a small soft serve ice cream from the mini golf across the street. The small cone was enormous. The menu was quite difficult to navigate but my daughter enjoyed her vanilla ice cream. She said it was basic but good. We would return again. Some of the other treats sounded delicious.

Great variety and excellent homemade ice cream! The Maine Blueberry on a sugar cone was perfect. The small size is about 1.5 scoops and was the perfect amount!

Delicious ice cream! There are so many flavors to choose from. My favorite (so far) is the Maine Blueberry ice cream! My husband won’t stray off the Moose Tracks which includes chunks of peanut butter cup. The place also has soft serve, sorbet, and frozen yogurt. The smallest size, the angel, is two big scoops of pure ice cream heaven!

Blueberry ice cream in a waffle cone. Just do it. I could smell the blueberries before I even took my first bite. It was that good.

Having dinner at Mainely Meat and dessert at Udder Heaven was a great way to start our Bar Harbor vacation.
My wife had a giant ice cream sandwich with some kind of chocolate/​peanut butter ice cream smashed between two large chocolate chip cookies. I had a bowl full of blueberry ice cream. The blueberry was great. The service was good as well.

I like soft serve ice cream on cake corn. Their soft serve ice cream was just right for me. Not too sweet, not too thick and the portion was generous. I also the Maple Walnuts hard ice cream and the Coffee hard ice cream while we stayed in Bar Harbor. Again, they were not too sweet, not too thick and the portion was, well, you know the rest. Yes, I felt like being in heaven.

Stupid Good !!! This has to be the best ice cream I have ever had, was staying in Town Hill, ME and would drive to Bar Habor every night for ice cream. Who knew this amazing find was so close to me. Talk about a flavor sensation, rich, creamy, flavor bursting with real whole blueberries. Yes, I tried the Maine Bluberry & Hubby had the Mouse Tracks… WOW… A must try for you and a return for sure from me! :)

Awesome ice cream! We had the Maine Blueberry, White Peppermint, cookies n cream, and s’mores. All were great! Big portions, bigger flavor.

VEry good home made ice cream. Close a little too early, considering they’re located across the street from a great miniature golf place that stays open 11.

This place is below average, at that. The ice cream was tasteless. There were ice chunks in our coconut ice cream. I went there with 4 others and everyone threw their ice cream out after 2 – 3 bites. We are hearty eaters if you know what I mean — and we rarely do such a thing.
I can see why it’s convenient — many flavors as other posters have mentioned but it isn’t a good sign if 5 of the 5 flavors tasted stunk!!! Store brand better ice creams from a supermarket exceeds this bland ice cream shoppe.
Save your money and go into town for a better, tastier choice. just not worth the splurge!

This place is a fantastic eatery if you are in the mood for ice cream or coffee. The ice cream is some of the best I have ever had and I know that because I did not get an upset stomach. Some ice cream brands make me feel nauseous and sick. Not here! Udder Heaven’s ice cream is great! Go next door and have a good breakfast in the morning or have some BBQ ribs for dinner. Right beside Udder Heaven, they have a bagel and pastry shop. Try the coffee and a bagel. It’s a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor, please give them a visit.

Cannot go wrong with the selection of flavors — there is a little bit of everything! Hard ice cream, frozen yogur t, soft serve, italian ices, and all sorts of sundaes and shakes are available.
I only had the hard ice cream this time around. First, I had to get the Maine Blueberry ice cream. «Udderly» (ha) delicious, with lots of pieces of blueberry in it. It was so good my husband had it twice, but for my second visit I ordered Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip frozen yogurt. It was divine. Nice berry flavor without being too sweet.
I loved the fact that this place was only a few minutes from where we were staying, and directly across from Pirate’s Cove mini-​golf. It was hard not to stop here when we passed it every day on the way to Acadia.
Note: Bay Gulls Bagels and Maine-​ly Meat are also at this location, and although I cannot speak to the quality of those establishments, the parking lot always had cars in it.

My bagel literally had an entire pack of cream cheese on it. I was driving and it was a huge mess trying to scrape off 90% of it. Yuck.
