Kalahari Room Service

Ordered my food over an hour ago for my 4 starving children and its still not here. Should have just went to dunkin donuts. When I called they asked if I wanted to speak with a supervisor… Really!!!

The food looked and tasted like it was frozen but it was priced like it was fresh or good.

The girlfriend and I were hungry after being at the Indoor Theme Park all night. We wanted to avoid all the restaurants at the Kalahari as the places we tried were below par ie: Snack Bar & Zulu Grill. I reviewed the menu and being hungry and a bit drunk I just wanted something simple and greasy. I I decided to go with the pepperoni pizza on that kids menu. Simple and greasy right? My girlfriend being pregnant and our daughter kicking her inside for food decided to go with the mac n cheese with a side of french fries. We place our order and the lady who took my order said it would be 30 mins. I hung up and proceeded to wait my 30 mins and on the dot we get a knock on our door! It was room service! Please remember to not tip them additionally as gratuity and delivery charge is already charged to you on the bill. Everything was hot and fresh, meaning it was not reheated. My pizza was as expected, simple and greasy. So much better than the pizza at the snack bar. My girlfriend’s mac n cheese on the other hand was interesting… It seemed all they did was boil some macaroni pasta and melted some shredded cheese on top. Maybe that’s now they make it in Wisconsin? The mac n cheese had no flavor and was bland, thank god for hot sauce! The fries were nothing to brag about. Overall I had the pizza and gave it a review of 3 stars and my gf had the mac n cheese and gave it a review of 1 star for a average of 2. I would recommend room service over any of the named restaurants in my post. Enjoy your stay!

Exceptional room service food, especially considering that most of the restaurants in the resort are sub-​par.
For the family of 4 of us we split the Eggs Benedict, Pancakes with bacon, Omelet with cheese, mushrooms and spinach and for dessert had a yogurt parfait. All the food was fantastic and nothing was spared, the yogurt parfait was excellent and highly recommend. The parfait comes in a 16oz glass which was a good value.
