Convenient, great price, lousy accommodations and there for, find somewhere else to stay. If I could take over the management and maintenance, this would be an amazing place however… Our tub did not drain and there for we showered in ankle deep water The towels were threadbare, as were the sheets The beds actually had springs that you could feel The air conditioner was so filthy we didn’t dare turn it on The breakfast, and we were thrilled with the prospect, consisted of bad coffee, bad Danish and was in a sad little room. I read the previous reviews and I agree, I like the 70s look but I didn’t experience the cleanliness that I so yearned for and a bed I could sleep on. It needs a make over, desparately! That said, it is convenient to town — walking which is terrific and worth it if you aren’t squeamish.

I adore old, family-owned places like this that don’t feel the need to «modernize». It’s like a trip back in time, and much more fun that those boring, homogeneous chain motels that all look the same. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the area in the back with the kitchen sink and large luggage area was great. It was clean and quiet; the motel is set back in the trees, and the surroundings are lovely. I overslept in the morning, and the lady in the office was very nice about letting us check out a bit late. Over all, a pleasant experience at a charming, vintage motel. If I am in the area overnight again, I will definitely stay here. Don’t ever change, Parkview Motel!

The pop machine broke and was giving away FREEPOP with the click of the button. It was the best day of my life.
