4 dining for pizza on a Monday night. Nice selection of beers, crisp salad promptly delivered, flavorful pizza, «The Masters«with a crisp thin crust.

I was very pleasantly surprised! The pizza was very well done, the service was great, and the prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to have few beers and a bite after the round or after work.

Pretty much a dive bar with better lighting. Prepackaged hamburger patty but fries were unique and quite good. Sign outside says 19th hole and I would say that is about right.

This place is within walking distance from the Old Kentucky Home campground, and that was where I was just happen to be staying for the weekend. It’s a 19th hole restaurant, which I had no idea what that was until I got schooled. Most golf courses have a club house or a restaurant on the 19th hole. We were there on a Friday evening and the crowd was not golfers, so don’t let that part of the place fool you. I noticed the buffet line was empty, so I asked and was told that Monday-Friday, during lunch hours, they serve a buffet. What the buffet includes, I’m not sure. I assume that it includes pizza. The menu was right up my alley, with lots of appetizers. I settled on the Caddy Club Sub. It was served on a hoagie like bun, a bit on the small side. The meat only consisted of one slice of turkey and one slice of ham. I will say that the bacon in it was plentiful and tasty. The fries stole to show though. Twisted, battered and with just the right crunch. Considering the large portion of fries, the meal was filling. My husband ordered the the buffalo chicken sandwich and he raved about it. He is usually picky when it comes to the buffalo sauce, but he liked it. He didn’t like the ketchup though. Note to the owner: Heinz ketchup is the only way to go. Our waitress was the daughter of the owner. She was prompt and friendly. She explained that her dad bought the building a few years ago, spent sometime renovating it, and finally opened the restaurant in January of this year. I pondered a five star, but didn’t between the ketchup and the fact that they were out of hand soap in the women’s bathroom. There are somethings that a restaurant shouldn’t run out of and hand soap is on that list. Just saying, you don’t find those factors in a five star restaurant. Unilocal school 101.
