Caution! This is not a real Sears store. I bought a humidifier there last week, and I couldn’t get it to work right. I called Sears on the phone, and they assured meI could return it to any Sears store for a repair or exchange, and gave me the address of the store near me. After visits to 2 Sears stores, and 3 phone calls, each assuring me I could return the 30 lb humidifier that I was carrying from store to store and department to department, the manager of the second store finally intervened and«let» me do the exchange. The problems with the humidifier are something else, but just be aware that this store does not have any connection to any other store and I can’t imaging how Sears lets them use their name.

The young men they have working there are rude and disrespectful towards customers. I tried to ask a question and make a statement three times and was repeatedly cut off by the young man who was supposed to be helping me. When I told him I would like him to let me finish a sentence he became very very rude. The owner eventually helped me with what I needed but I can’t say he was very proactive in correcting his employees. I’ll avoid shopping there in the future that’s for sure

We purchased our BOSCH dishwasher from them in September 2013. The first one didn’t work properly upon installation. They replaced it which involved me having to return the defective dishwasher on my own and pick up a replacement. That was the first issue. The second, the replacement dishwasher wreaks of wet dog. This began about four months ago. After doing some research, it appears to be a common problem with BOSCH dishwashers. Come to find out through BOSCH, they receive this type of complaint about three times a week. Back to SEARS Hometown store, prior to calling BOSCH I explained our frustration asking if we could trade ours in for a different brand considering it wasn’t quite a year old. The sales associate I spoke with denied ever hearing any issues only to tell me her friends own one and love it. I continued to try and explain the problem but she just talked over me. That was rude in itself. She told me to call BOSCH and their was nothing they could do for me. Poor customer service. We will never shop at SEARS Hometown store again.

Bill Baer and his crew are knowledgeable, friendly and will lead you to the best deal. In the last year we have purchased a lawn tractor, snow thrower and washer and dryer at prices cheaper on these quality items than any other store including Lowes and Home Depot.
