Excellent food. Pesto on the breakfast sandwiches is genius. The cranberry walnut chix salad is amazing. The owner is always very friendly. Service is also friendly and prompt. Great place to read or work with a good cup of coffee, and a good bite to eat.

Today was my first visit despite it saying I checked in twice. I came once when it was closed so didn’t submit a review. I was so excited to have a Chai Latte. I am a a Chai snob, preferring real Chai Tea vs the liquid Oregon Chai boxed stuff(which is full of sugar and calorie laden). When I arrived, I noted a cute set up and a chill sort of vibe. They have gourmet chocolates and commercially prepared gourmet cookies for sale. The menu is heavy on syrup add ons. Sadly, I learned they used the liquid Oregon Chai. I decided to seek out some Matcha tea. Nope. none of that either. I was a little bummed, actually, a lot bummed so settled for a Mighty Leaf Green Tea. I don’t live too close so will stick to the coffee spot near my house who makes real deal Chai. If you are into all kinds of funky flavored Latte’s and syrups, you may love it here. Purists, I suspect not. Nirvana, it was nice to visit… but rather ordinary… In fairness, I did not eat here and based on the stellar reviews, they may excel in that department. Choices looked good!

Okay so their latte wasn’t the greatest. It was okay, but their coffee beans were a little burnt tasting? It was pretty okay though! Their tuna salad sandwich however with Gouda cheese on cranberry bread was one of the most delicious tuna salad sandwiches I have ever had! I absolutely loved it. My mom and I went here this morning, and I thoroughly enjoyed its location — it’s located near other cute, local shops! They also have a very cute free book drop — take a book, leave a book system — outside! Inside the place was so clean, and adorable! They had cute merchandise and a friendly barista! As far as the latte goes, I might be a little used to Blue Bottle in NYC and the taste of their coffee… So that may be it. Overall it was super cute, delicious, and just a lovely experience!

I come here every time I’m on the cape. The atmosphere is very nice and it’s right in the center of Barnstable. The coffee itself is nothing particularly special. Better than Starbucks, but not great. The sandwiches and muffins are always good, however. If you’re in Barnstable I definitely recommend going to Nirvana for a bit!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve seen in the general area. Lots of options for the coffee aficionado including plenty of interesting and unique flavors. The place is a little small but has quality drinks!

Lavender honey latte? Creative, cute, healthy and lovely! Got the white and dark mocha, which was delicious! Cute coffee shop/lunch spot to come over and hang out with friends or get some reading done. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by!

Don’t just come here for the coffee, sandwiches are delicious too! Very cozy local café that gets busy and crowded quickly. Great for reading or meeting up with friends — definitely worth a stop!

I was looking for a place to sit and write that was not the beach. The staff is very nice and helped me find another drink when the one I wanted, Mexican latte, was sold out. Sitting on the chairs outside this place is just what I needed.

Love this little shop! Quaint, comfortable and friendly. My wife and I go here just about every Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

Coffee was excellent, iced and regular. They had the flair to stock Naked juice rather than the ubiquitous, thin, Odwalla swill. The Everything bagel was good, too. With a dog outside, I was unable to enjoy the comfortable, clean space inside for my treats. Oddly, there was ample room to do so despite this being an August 1st Saturday at 10:30. There was, however, a sizeable line.

Even though this was an impulse stop, it was a fantastic stop! Adirondack chairs adorn the entrance and sit right on the street. The service was extra friendly and the staff asks you questions about where you are from(they must have a sixth sense about tourists!!!) As for the brew, it was excellent. The selection was good and they even had some great pastries and what not. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys good coffee and friendly locals.

The longest list of latte flavors(and even more combos like Cookies & Crème available and recommended by staff)! The quintessential coffee shop — cozy, quaint, good music, friendly baristas, and charming décor. Local art lines the walls & is up for sale. Redefining the stereotypically lackluster concept of premade sandwiches by offering delicious creations — I had turkey, lettuce, Brie, and fig on cranberry walnut bread. As a self-proclaimed sandwich expert, I can assure you they’re great! Enjoyed in the coffee shop but it would’ve been great on-the-go or at the beach as well. Another plus, it’s open past 3 unlike many small coffee shops in the Cape!

The best coffee shop around the Cape! If you are looking for the best Latte ever — go to Nirvana! They have the longest list of flavors. Coconut Latte is my favorite, it is SO delicious. Almond Croissant is another favorite thing at this shop. Sandwiches are very good, there is a big variety and they can toast it in the Panini press machine. Cozy atmosphere, good music, friendly baristas, and charming décor. Also for every 12 beverages you buy — they give you one free of your choice ;) Love this place! Great for meeting with friends, reading or just chilling outside on those giant comfy chairs ;)

Not all coffee shops can make a good latte, but Nirvana Coffee certainly can. The ice coffee, lattes, breakfast sandwiches(try the pesto ones!) and sandwiches(anything on the cranberry bread) were all delicious. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast outside on the adirondack’s chairs. It’s a beautiful view and great drink on a Sunday morning.

The coffee was delicious. We had a blueberry muffin, coffee cake muffin and a chocolate croissant, they were all very tasty. Will absolutely recommend this place and we’ll be coming back soon.

Definitely a new favorite on the Cape. The coffee was excellent. Strong and well blended — A+. The barista was very nice and friendly. The shop has a good amount of seating, including nice comfy chairs — which we enjoyed, while the beautiful Cape breeze blew in through the windows. Perfect!

I stopped here on the way back to Boston from Cape Cod. We could have gone somewhere a bit closer to the highway but were lured by Unilocal reviews and Nirvana didn’t disappoint. –Good coffee and a lot of flavors to choose from, if that’s your thing(it is mine). –Cozy atmosphere, beans for sale. –Wonderful, welcoming baristas. They will put a smile on your face! –Fresh breakfast sandwiches with top-notch ingredients Recommended!

Grab a napkin for afterwards, cause your going to drool! We made a special trip here because of it’s rave reviews. Let me tell you, it was well worth it! I ordered a cinnamon caramel latte that was just the right amount of sweet, frothy, and hot. The barista made it with a little heart on top, in the milk froth… cute. The almond croissant was the best I’ve EVER eaten. It’s a bold statement, but I’m not kidding. In between the flaky layers was a drizzle of honey and chopped almonds. The hubby ordered a white chocolate raspberry latte, which was equally as delicious. He also had a yogurt parfait, that had fresh granola and fruit. What more can you ask for? If ever in the area again, we will be back!
