oh how I love crossing a restaurant off of my bookmark list. came to saga fusion for a quick lunch this afternoon. I was surprised by the small restaurant only offering around 10 tables altogether. luckily, we were the only people here so seated immediately and served quickly. our server was friendly, efficient and on top of table maintenance. I ordered a blue Hawaii cocktail which was very tasty and large compared to the same drink at other Asian style restaurants. It was on the pricier side @ $ 9.00 but seemed worth it in my opinion. for sushi, I opted for the 2 roll lunch special(only $ 12.00) which included miso soup, house salad, and your choice of many different maki rolls. I noticed many other reasonable offerings on the lunch menu that I suggest taking advantage of. I ordered the peanut avocado and the spicy crunch yellowtail roll. the peanut avocado was delicious and unique. I love this roll but it can be hard to find! I was excited to see it on the menu. the spicy yellowtail was missing the crunch that was advertised on the menu, but the fish tasted very fresh. I was happy with my choices. we did order the sushi wrapped in brown rice. although there is an upcharge, I like having the choice. will definitely come back to try specialty rolls!

Hidden gem in Marstons Mills! Good value, great sushi, love the bento box. Love getting sign without going to Hyannis or all the way to mashpee

Came here on Mother’s Day and they were busy but that didn’t inhibit their service and quality. Also make sure you leave room for desert… They’re amazing!!!

I’be only been here once so far and will definitely go back. Love the ambiance and the food was both original and tasty. Service was great — everyone greeted you and smiled. My grandson has been telling me to go here for months and I’m glad I finally did.

I’m a big sushi snob when I go to new places. Found this gem when visiting my in-laws on the cape. Love the food and the friendly staff. I enjoyed the surf clam sashimi and the hurricane roll! Best spicy tuna I’ve had ever.

As a Japanese gal this was mediocre. I heard from many people around the cape that this was the best Asian food spot on the cape so I was excited to try it. The food was moderately fresh, but the fish was tough. The tempura was okay but tasted kind of frozen. The atmosphere is the best part of this place. It was expensive. $ 80 for 3 people! Mind you we did order 2 beers and a tempura appetizer. Overall the food was meh, however the vibe is nice.

I do not recommend this place at all. The wait staff is unfriendly and eggar to get you in and out as fast as they can. They charged us more than our meals cost and then added more money to our tip, once we left. I called and they didn’t seem to care. I would not recommend Saga Fusion if you are looking to share a relaxing enjoyable meal.

This place has really great sushi, as well as a ton of other Asian food options. I had the cape cod sushi dinner, which was excellent. They had a big variety in some of the bigger rolls, which was great. The service was also excellent. I would definitely come back here for more great sushi.

This place is great; it’s the only sushi place in the lower Cape that I have ever been to, however. My first experience was one in which I got take out: the Massachusetts girl roll, some unagi sashimi, and a bit of seaweed salad. The Massachusetts girl roll– wow! Surprisingly good! I suppose that I should admit to being a fan of novelty– hence the decision to try this«Massachusetts girl» roll. Honestly, I don’t see what makes this particularly«Massachusetts»; it contains tuna, jalepeno, salmon, avocado, and tobiko(fish eggs). In any case, it was quite good, and the unagi was among the better that I’ve had. The caveat is that the dining space is small; the parking situation can be challenging to mediate(depending on what time you arrive, and what direction you are coming from on Rt. 28), and the dining atmosphere is quite modern.

On the Permanent Resource list Extensive Menu, creative and very good. Worth the stop. Not hard to find but I an unexpected location. No entrance on 28. You go around back and there is plenty of parking. Atmosphere is very nice and appealing. Sushi bar has plenty of seats. Full bar. I had the Dragon Roll and it was very tasty. Plenty of items to choose from on this menu and reasonable priced. All waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back. A new permanent resource. 1560 old boston post road Marston mills, ma 917.770.9863

Seated immediately. Place was packed. Service quick and friendly. Portions big. Could not finish cape cod sushi dinner and I am a big eater. Prices reasonable. Good among the best we have had and we eat out a lot. Only complaint was sushi pieces were too big. Will make this our reg spot.

Just got back… Overall I really liked the food and agree with most comments. Service was acceptable but at times the timing was a little awkward(dishes came all at once, etc). My wife had sushi and I had hibachi chicken and steak. We really liked our dishes and the food was excellent. Dessert was blah — but I wasn’t expecting much. It wasn’t very crowded on a Saturday night which is always a little disconcerting. Give it a try — you will love the food.

This is a temporary three stars. This place has potential, they just opened a few weeks ago and have some kinks to work out. The food is great so far; sushi is fresh and the portions are generous. They also offer udon noodles which are basically non existent anywhere else on the cape so thats a huge plus by itself. I also tried the fried softshell crab which I do not recommend. It might be me but the«edible» shell doesn’t do it for me. I ended up using a fork to root for the small amount of meat. The atmosphere tries to be modern but with ultra dim lighting, no windows and wall to wall tiles it falls a bit short and reminds me of a bathroom a bit.(I don’t want to come off as bashing, this is just a first impression.) They have a sushi bar along side the proper bar which I love! Watching a sushi chef is hypnotizing every time. It’s magic at the end of a knife. Now, I don’t like to complain often but I cannot ignore this glaring drawback to an otherwise great start and this is my reason for the temporary three stars. The hostess/slash bartender. She ignores everyone and does not even acknowledge customers when they walk in. Both times we stood there for well over five minutes with other patrons and no one asked us anything: do you want to sit, are you picking up, nothing. I’m pretty sure this is not how a new business should start and tonight we ended up leaving without ordering anything for that reason alone. Saga fusion really needs to address this issue right now as i’m sure i’m not the only one bothered by this. Parking is decent but has been near or totally full pretty steady. Overall, everything is clean and brand new and I look forward to upping my stars as I continue to frequent this burgeoning fusion restaurant. 4/23/15:(added two stars to the original three) Happy to report the kinks have been worked out. All my previous gripes have been corrected.(As if my review turned them around. Jeez I’m self centered.) The atmosphere has grown on me and I think they turned the lights up a bit. Food is still great, service is much improved, overall this place has really rounded out as a great asian restaurant. A must try.
