It’s hard to say what makes this ice cream so good but it really is delicious. Small inside, but plenty of places to eat outdoors, right on scenic 6A in Barnstable. One of my favorites flavors is grapenut, chocolate and craisin but they have all of the«normal» flavors too. Be sure to look at the menu board, because the front case contains only the most popular flavors.

Great fresh fruit flavor, peach was wonderful great texture with nice chunks of fresh peach. Sweet cream ice cream with nuts shows off the qualities of their fresh milk used to make all there homemade ice creams. Delicious.

Coconut almond chip ice cream! A very small shop with three eager high school students behind the counter ready to help. A nice selection of traditional ice cream flavors and some creative choices as well as sherbert. Love sugar cones. No seating inside, but outside two picnic tables and plenty of benches. Small parking lot.

A half mile from Millway beach, we stopped at Smitty’s to try the homemade ice cream. Daughter had strawberry and mint chip, I had mocha chip and shark tooth(choc ice cream with white choc chunks), both in old fashioned cones. I loved mine and daughter says, «yummy, creamy and I love ice cream.» Staff was nice, but seemed a little bored. Overall, though, good product and service. We’d definitely go back again.

What a surprise to find a brand new ice cream shop in Barnstable. The ice cream was great… on par with Four Seas but on the bay side of the cape. Try the mint Oreo. They also have great hot fudge.
