First time at the dog park today. We’ll definitely be back! Lots of space to run and play. Grassy spots and lots of dirt. Water for thirsty dogs and bags for clean up, even random tennis balls all around. We made lots of friends and are planning our next trip!

Barrington paw park is a huuuuge space for dogs to run around which is great. No separate small dog and large dog sections but this allows more dogs to socialize. No running water or lights for at night but still a great place to bring your dog. Decent sized dog park, but not many dogs… pretty area with boats. Overall a nice place.

Haines has become one of my favorite spots to stop when I am riding on the East Bay Bike path. Not only does it have nice, pretty clean facilities to relieve yourself, but it is a great place to watch the sunset on the way back to E. Providence(at least that is where I usually start my trek). There is a boat launch, a large picnic area, and several interesting fireplaces scattered throughout the park. I always find it a peaceful place to take a break or to hop on the bike path if I don’t want to start from the very beginning in order to get to Colt State Park.

A nice little park of slightly over 100 acres. It is well know to bikers because the East Bay Bike Path runs right through it. Porta potties are placed right near the path so it’s a pleasant place to stop for a little rest or to take a leak. Of course it is used by other people besides bikers wanting to urinate. They is no fee to use the park and it has several large baseball fields and open areas to bring hyper active kids. Plus places to jog or walk and many picnic areas with tables and fire pits. It also has a nice launch site for kayaks or other small boats with a large parking area that is pretty safe, so you probably won’t get robbed while kayaking. It’s used primarily by residents of Barrington so it never gets absurdly crowded like some parks. A nice place to stop while on the East Bay Bike Path or if you are looking for a good launch site to explore upper Narragansett Bay.
