Was refused service at 5:30pm because I had a child. My wife I and I arrived at 5:30pm with our 1.5 year old. An employee approached us and in a somewhat snobby manor told us «oh, the baby can’t stay» …of course it was ok for us to spend our money on a bottle to go which we refused. I understand at a «bar» there may be a time where you want to kick out the minors. However, industry standard for this is usually 9pm. This is not a smoking establishment and there are no state or local ordinances governing this. It’s just a matter of this particular establishment not supporting families. So if you want to have a glass of wine with family look else where.

Great place! We love the heated patio and fireplace. They have great wines and you can bring/or order your own food in as well.

We’ve gone to several wine tastings here and almost every wine we’ve had has been good. a lot of fun hanging out there with live music and friends. You can bring in food from local restaurants or they have cheese board that’s pretty nice.

Always a great selection of wine and appetizers. Different local bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Dan and Hazel know how to treat their customers.

What a great wine store! And there’s a wine bar in the back! Their wine club is awesome, too. They let you try the wines first, then you pick which ones you want for the month. The owners are super nice. We’ll be back for sure!

This is the type of place I don’t like to review because I selfishly want it to stay the same and not get«discovered» by everyone! We ducked in here to pick up a bottle of wine one night. Alas, it started raining and we were forced to stick around for a couple glasses of wine. The sacrifices we are sometimes forced to make … We got some great recommendations from who we presume is the owner. Prices were good, cheese plate was ample and the vibe was low-key and not snooty. We also joined their wine club, which is a bit different than others in that you can choose from a small selection each month. This is nice if you’re like us and go through varietal phases. All in all, a great little place with nice people and a relaxed environment. Can’t wait to go back!

Dan and Hazel and the crew offer the best wine club in the area. In addition, the wine room has great wine tastings and is a comfortable place to sit and chat. They offer 4 wines on tap and you can also purchase a bottle to drink there. They even let you bring in food to eat with your wine. Give them a shot and ask about how they were featured on Jay Leno’s show.
