We attended the Peju Wine night this past weekend. We live in Lantana and this was the first time to visit this restaurant. We had a beautiful date night! The owner greeted us and sat us at our table. He introduced the features and explained the concept of the healthy cooking methods they use here. He was so kind and pleasant. Our server was a young man who was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We were excited to try the new wines featured by Peju! We loved this opportunity to try them and have a case shipped home as well. This was an experience that exceeded our expectations! We had the spinach artichoke dip and bread/butter for starters. We loved it all! Esp the garlic butter for the bread and crackers. We ordered the Kobe steak and shrimp linguine for our meal. I loved that the pasta is homemade! So delicious! We also had the blueberry cheesecake dessert! Every thing was exceptional: food, wine, cocktails, service and ambience! We will definitely be back for a date night soon!

We made reservations for Mother’s Day and it was perfect! We sat at the food bar and watched the chefs make our food while we sipped a St. Germaine Elderflower cocktail. The smoked Gouda and tuna melt was good, but the glazed salmon with creamed avocado was amazing! We followed our course with chocolate pudding, and cheesecake served with tres leches ice cream. Andreas was quick and very friendly, and all the managers stopped by for a friendly hello. It was perfect and plan to return soon!

Great first experience at lunch today. Chicken salad was great, brunch hash was divine. We will be returning for dinner very soon!

We have eaten here several times and usually the food and service is extremely good. The new interior is beautiful. Best gluten free jalapeño corn bread muffins on the planet. Came for Easter brunch and was disappointed for the first time in the food, drinks, and service. Especially in waitresses lack of knowledge in gluten free and and then getting gf cookies that were peanut butter — non disclosed high allergy item. She was also very absent and had to be tracked down for drinks and food. Just not our experience here before and not what we expected when booking a reservation for a holiday brunch weeks in advance.

This place is great! I love the staff and the food is great. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that prices are pretty high for lunch. The new addition and the patio is great. This is a hidden gem!

Had a wonderful dinner on our first visit(of what will assuredly be many). Do NOT miss the bacon/kale salad! The halibut was perfectly prepared, as were the asparagus and potatoes that accompanied. The pasta, though, was amazingly good — flavorful and exactly al dente! Service attentive but not over-bearing. Oh, and the chocolate pudding — sounds simple, but SO good! We’ll be back!

Best restaurant experience in the area. Has it all, food, atmosphere, staff. The new bar adds a special ambiance with Neil heading-up the excellent Texas craft beer selection, including Peticolas Velvet Hammer and Adelberts Flyin’ Monks and mixed drink specials. The restaurant owners and daily fixtures, Glenn, Annette, and chefs, Neil and Jenna, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that goes beyond their carefully created menu items. My wife and I love their kale beet salad, fresh halibut and salmon, vegetable stack, braised short rib, and pastas. The chocolate pudding with sea salt is a treat you won’t want to resist. The gourmet-to-go dinners are a staple for us and help with easy dinners when we are in a hurry.

My husband and I been here a few times after work and just loved it! We brought my parents the second time while they were visiting and it was a hit all around. I’ve enjoyed their goat cheese/beet salad, spicy avocado soup, vegetable«stack,» and of course their amazing chocolate pudding dessert with the peanut butter cookie. It sounds and looks so simple, but is done so incredibly well that you just can’t pass it up! We love going on Thursday nights and getting the wine flight, which I think is on a special on Thursdays. We’re excited to come back for more!

We’ve enjoyed this place in the past. Love to support local folks. We were seated in the new bar area, which is a nice edition. The waiter, while trying hard, couldn’t explain much on the menu. Not sure if he was new, but affable enough. We started with a Caesar salad, which was fine. My wife had a lobster and kale pasta dish while I had meatballs and linguini with red sauce. The food was nicely presented but there was little flavor in either dish. Disappointing. Also, the portion size for the meatball dish was way too small for the $ 18 price — a dollop of pasta. I’m sure we’ll try this place again, but with all the local competition heating up, they need to work on flavoring and portioning, especially at these prices.

We had to drive to Argyle to drop off my son and I Unilocaled to see what was nearby. We hit the jackpot at this place. Family owned and organic, non processed food. Gluten free and vegan options. Kids menu too. Bbq pork nachos were outstanding. Kobe steak was delicious and the choc pudding was like eating a choc mousse!

Go here for dinner, stay for drinks. Tonight we sat in the bar and split appetizers. Flatbread was to die for and the bbq pork nachos… delish! Great atmosphere and more. Will be back.
I have to give Savory 5 stars. My little princess says it’s the best spaghetti(it’s linguine) meatballs she ever had. She gave it 10 out of 10. She’s 44 lbs and she finished the entire adult portion including 2 pieces of bread plus some dessert. The meatballs were very moist and tender. The flavors were unique. I can’t quite make it out but it’s good. The sauce had a nice balance of acidity. I had the Duck a L’orange. I asked for it medium rare but it came out medium well. A little disappointed but it was still tender. The sauce was good. Not overly orangey and sweet. I’ll still give Savory 5 stars because my princess loves them. If she loves it, I love it. Will RTE!

I met the family there last night for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable! This restaurant is a cozy little gem with great atmosphere. If you’re there celebrating a birthday or an anniversary or just a casual night on the town, Savory Bistro will make you feel special and pays attention to details!

Making food sound great is one thing, delivering is quite another. I had the pulled pork with Apple eggs Benedict. It just is ok, I guess, but I wouldn’t order it again. Same with my companions meal.

I had brunch here the other morning. I got the butternut squash quiche– it was rather bland. The crust was delicious. My friend had the eggs Benedict. She actually wanted the omelette with the goat cheese. For some reason this was not possible as they pre mix all of their omelette ingredients. Back to the eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was a bizarre reddish color and on grits. She was not a big fan. Service was good, décor was somewhat non existent but the bathroom was spotless. Crazy to say, but the bathroom is the best thing about this restaurant. I may come back and try dinner due to its proximity to my home.

We love this little gem of a restaurant right in the heart of Argyle Lantana Bartonville. The menu changes regularly. They are excellent at setting up special events for your group. If you’re looking for something with fancy fare for your special date night, this is the spot. Excellent choices to take and go as well if you need something fabulous served at home.

Complimentary valet parking! My friends and I wanted to wander around Klyde Warren Park for a bit and there was no parking to be found. We discovered that there is valey parking at Savory as long as we made a purchase. After we walked the park, we stopped back at Savory for an ice tea and a beer. The atmosphere is hip, open, and relaxing. I loved all the windows and various seating arrangements. The menu looked great, but we were full from Bistro 31 earlier, so we just had a drink. Friendly service.

We went for Saturday brunch. Nice, neat, clean, friendly atmosphere. I had the eggs benedict and it was really tasty. I’ve never seen hollandaise sauce that was orange, but it was really good. My guesses are hungarian paprika, one of my favorite spices to use, and lemon juice. My parents had salads that they also enjoyed. My mom decided not to drink her bloody mary because it was served with a fairly well rotten spongy yellow stalk of celery in it. They apologized and offered her something else, but who put that in there in the first place? yuck. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and the place is nice. The pictures on Unilocal are a true representation of what it’s really like.

I was not expecting such a great food experience when I decided to go to this little shop stuck inside a strip mall that looks like it was dropped in the middle of the country. Service was relaxed, friendly and warm. Our server had actual input on her favorite dishes and a down-to-the-glass knowledge of how many of each specialty mimosas were left so we wouldn’t be disappointed. Food was excellent and clearly made with craftsmanship and love. The ambiance is pleasant and quirky(there’s a selection of bodyspray in the men’s room: why? Beats me, but I used some!) The kitchen is open and the patio is airy. If you just moved into a multimillion dollar house out here don’t expect Michelin level service or price. What you will get is some excellent food made by some people who really want you to be happy and its not going to cost a lot.
