It’s rare I give a «one star» to McDonald’s, they’re pretty standard fare and on my «regular» list. However, my stop at this McDonald’s received«three strikes» and is out. It was a breakfast run. There are two drive-thru lanes. A McD’s clerk in an orange vest was outside standing in the driving lanes, supposedly helping. STRIKEONE: My order $ 2.14. She takes my $ 20.15 and walks off. Takes money from the next car, then is called back in. STRIKETWO: I wait at the window for a clerk who is nowhere to be found. When she gets there I hold out my hand. She has no clue which purchaser I am. Then she gives me $ 18 back as if keeping the penny is her right. STRIKETHREE: I take my food and drink and say aloud, «Diet Coke, right?» She says yes. I pull away and pop in the straw. REAL Coke. arrrgh. Furious but not getting back in «the zoo» to correct the problem. If they can’t handle the volume, get outta the business!!!
