Sondra is an incredibly talented stylist. I saw her for the first time last week and was blown away by her ability to not only salvage my hair, but make it look like it didn’t need salvaging at all! I bleached and died my hair blue last summer and after a failed attempt to cover it/​cut it out, I came to Sondra with a dark green hue and choppy cut. I wanted to go more natural blonde, but knew that was a big ask. She did a beautiful job and colored my hair to perfection. She also softened my cut. I really thought it would be either an all day session in the chair, or a multiple step, additional appointments sort of process, but she made it happen in under 3 hours. Could not be happier with the outcome! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Since moving to this area 2 years ago, I have been to several stylists and had yet to find anyone who could cut & highlight my hair how I like it. I admit I’m pretty picky! So, recently I made an appointment with Michelle & she is amazing!!! My hair is tricky to color & cut correctly but she took the time to listen & look at the picture i brought in of the style I wanted. She gave me one of the best, cutest haircuts I’ve had in a long time and highlights in the prettiest shade of blonde. Also, I was runnning late from having to work late & she had no problem waiting for me & was very upbeat throughout my appointment. I have definitely found a keeper. Yay!

I went here couple of months ago to get my haircut. I specifically told the girl that I don’t want layers, which I ended up having after haircut. My hair is straight in the back and with layers at the front.

Saundra is AMAZING!!! I went to get highlights and a cut and I am so happy with the results. My roots had grown out so bad that my hair was almost two different colors. Saundra was a miracle worker with blending my hair so it looked natural.
Another bonus is that she is an esthetician, I’m just bumbled I can’t stay in Aspen long enough to get a facial too. She was fun to talk to, and she listened to both me and my mother who was helping with the decision making. (#Motherdaughtertime)
The salon was also had a good feel and good energy!

Love love love love this place! Sondra is amazing! She colored and layered my hair to pure perfection! Love this girl to bits! If you go in there make sure to ask for her! She’s amazing!!!

I have had my haircut here a few times. I always get a good cut, it is the customer service and making an appointment that always seem to be an issue. Just like one of the other male reviewers it seems as if the process to schedule is always a challenge at this salon. They also have a sign out front that states walk-​ins are welcome. They are not! I have tried on several occasions to just walk in only to be told that they cannot accommodate me until hours later or even the next day. Bad way to advertise your salon and services. Especially in a community this small.

Called to make an appointment, this seemed to be a challenging task for whomever answered the phone. Finally made the appointment for 3:30pm. I received a call later that day after I had confirmed the appointment. The girl said «ummmm» the stylist Sara is doing a coloring job and can no longer fit you in. There was also no one else available that day to do a cut. This place seems to have difficulty getting a good receptionist.

This placed destroyed my daughters hair.
Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Sarah should lose her license.
Completely incompetent !
Representing AVEDA very poorly.
The manager is the only saving grace of this place. Large orange cat stripes when I very clearly asked for a light extremely natural looking 10 volume weave.
By the way I’m a licensed hair dresser !
I know bad work when I see it.
So unhappy.

I left Salon Terra with a complete new hairstyle and renewed energy. This was my first experience here and I am very happy with all of it. Michelle’s experience and positive energy shows through in her work. She made me feel very relaxed, took her time and styled my hair out beautifully. The salon has a nice, open and clean feel to it and I’m looking forward to visiting again for a pedicure. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is amazing! I am very particular about my hair and she totally delivered! I have very thick, wavy hair and she have me the perfect layered cut. I definitely recommend seeing her!
